That's the vibe I get. I don't want to see tits on either, hopefully they can be differentiated by coloration or crest size, you know kinda like how some animals are differentiated. "Which races/genders are you most wanting to see on the squad? What other milky way races are you hoping to see tag along?" I'd like to honestly see the minor races (Drell, Hanar, Volus, Elcor, and Batarians too) aboard the Nexus. As for squadmate, we need a Volus squadmate to show up as our LETHAL Joke character. |

Slightly O/T but I always wondered why Bioware never bothered making some of the Volus characters female. It wouldn't have necessarily required any additional resources, since the Volus are completely covered in environment suits. All they needed was female voice actors.
The Elcor wouldn't necessarily need a unique character model for females either, now that I think about it.

Let's just hope they extend the variability to individual appearances as well. It's really immersion breaking to see multiple identical race models everywhere you look...particularly in cutscenes. |

Glad that we will see female turians and krogan.
At this point though, there really isn't any excuse as to why there wouldn't be female members of the species, and I hope this is the case for Andromeda races as well (unless mono gendered like asari)

Bio's tidbit about showing both genders is interesting but unnecessary from a game design viewpoint, imo. However, the studio decided to cave in to the fans' "request" and we will see lipstick everywhere.
My squad selection is based on mission requirements and who can fill that slot.
Flabbergasted I will be if the studio wrote a female Turian as a LI. Ditto for a Krogan.
It's a human centric story people. We need to colonise and make HUMAN babies.

Cave in? I don't see how it's lip service to show women of other species. It made zero sense we don't a single female turian in the trilogy, except dlcs. And it has little to do with the desire to romance them. Considering the high number of romances Walters mentioned in the coverage, be ready to be surprised then. |
