An Asari who's not into men as in human males would be kinda weird given established lore.
An Asari who's not into men as in the old sense of humans generally could make sense though.
Can you even be a tomboy when you're from a society without any boys?

I asked on Twitter and don't remember the answer other than that they said it's not Luke Kristjansson although he is working on the game too. I hope he's writing the Salarian Pilot or something. Nope, Peebee comes courtesy of @neilpollner!  Luke wrote the *other* squadmate we talked about in the Game Informer preview, though. Neil Pollner worked on the Omega DLC. Luke is writing Liam. |

Has it been confirmed anywhere that Peebee is one of the LIs?
If not we probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves in trying to guess who or what she's interested in. Remember, back before ME2 released people thought Samara was one of the LIs too. Just because she is Asari doesn't necessarily mean she'll turn out to be a LI.
Hell, she could even turn out to be one of those less murderous Ardat-Yakshi. Being on the AY spectrum and not wanting to be locked away in some monastery would be a good reason to take off for Andromeda.

AY aren't asexual, or at least not inherently so. Most still have sexual urges, hence those monasteries where they get locked away. If the AY were asexual the Asari would have nothing to fear from them. I don't think there is anything at this point to indicate that PB is an Ardat Yakshi, but then there's also nothing as far as I know confirming her to be a LI either. There's no sense getting bent about who or what she may be into, since it's all just speculation at this point. Getting back on topic... I like the choice of voice actor. Although I didn't like Jane in The Walking Dead, she did have good voice acting. The list of her VA's film credits now also makes me want to watch The Leisure Class, despite purposely avoiding it because the director was an insufferable prick on Project Greenlight. |
