Ryder can say that he thinks the food is dangerous to eat, and who knows. Also where was it waved away? Im curious The whole thing with Tali in 3 banging Shepard with impunity. Ugh, the worst thing about the Tali romance. Not just because it waves away the danger of them having different kinds of DNA, but the quarian's whole thing was how they are stuck in their suits with an immune system so weak a simple thing can kill them and it would take decades or centuries to be able to live without them and yet apparently taking enough meds lets you live and within a few months at most they are fully adapted. Tali was a perfect opportunity for an explicitly nonsexual romance but the power of boners is stronger. |

She's not taking off her suit for hours on end to bang Shep, it's probably like an hour with cuddling included. (for my shep it'd only take half an hour. le sad faec.) And that's the kind of hazardous exposure that her immune system can withstand with the added benefits of herbs and shep sterilizing himself, so it's pretty believable. Didn't say they were perfectly adaptable. It's probably like getting used to cold, if you walk outside without your clothes during cold - it'd put strain on your body and you might eventually die from overexposure to the elements, but if you do it sparingly, you'd make your organism much more adaptable to the elements and small-time exposure wouldn't leave any lasting impacts (i.e. - no colds and coughs) Now I know that I've put that in EXTREME layman terms, seeing how it's not actually related to germs and bacteria, but I think it's an adequate analogy. But yeah, I woud have preffered if they stressed out the danger of their intimacy a tad bit more |
