Romance poll from Reddit. Vetra got about 21% of the male vote and about 9% of the female vote. Not bad at all. https://www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/668o0r/mea_spoilers_mass_effect_andromeda_romance_survey/ The biggest thing I take from it is how faithful people were to her. That says it all! I have been thinking about it and I was a little disappointed by the results but I think because she is interesting, likeable, and available to both genders her romance stats will only increase over time. Not to mention it is natural for people to go for the LI's with the more explicit/sexual scenes > cute stuff first. Especially with how the ME team played it up as a mature game. Either way, her being one of the more popular squadmates means she is likely to return in a sequel. At least I hope so... |

Here is a color version of the vetra/sid picture. Have you noticed the particular detail on that pic? Artist does put attention to details. Which detail? Well take a look at their clothes, both Vetra's and Sid's- their clothes are rugged/ little tattered. Its been established in Vetra's dossier and also in her own dialogue with Ryder, that she had a tough childhood. Most likely early on as a teenager she lived in poverty while also having to look after her sister... their parents both fucked up (mother was all about her career and disowned her children, while their father just vanished one day). So this pic shows this great trait of Vetra - her devotion to those she cares about, even when she herself has so little. Love this pic. As Ryder who romanced Vetra, this would make me feel kinda pissed and wrong. Unknowing that my babe was there all along in the Milky Way before we met in Andromeda, living in hunger, while I got my sassy Ryder ass sat comfy. |

I don't know if I ship them, but Drack and Vetra rank as one of my favourite squad pairings.
The two share a really great friendship and Drack seems to be the only person (besides Ryder) that Vetra is willing to open up to, since she almost never discusses her past or fears/concerns about Sid with anyone else on the squad.

I don't really ship npc/squadmate characters with others in most circumstances, especially not ones that are player romances. It's a good way to figure out which are your favorite romance(s) though. Besides, Kesh already has Vorn.

She has babies now, that's a huge thing both personally and culturally, they shouldn't pair them up with someone else. And Vorn was a great guy! I hope they both get more screentime in the next game. For shipping in general. If it feels right, sure. Tali and Garrus are both canons, but in that one Liara pt it made sense. In DAI I wait for the Bull-Dorian banter every time (fine, I use CE  ). I'm glad they don't have anything like it in MEA because the mid-late game locking would have caused some trouble. The friendships and ship banter was enough. If they want to play npc matchmaking then let the Ryder sibling find some love! We can pick who they should get together with and then have an Aveline type multi-leveled wingman questchain.  |
