Vetra Nyx, Maker Bless Sheryl Chee! (Official Thread)

does she sound a little rogue-ish? maybe a little like Isabela? or is it me hearing what I want to hear because she's my favourite among Chee's characters?

Who was right saying she looks like a rogue the first time we saw her? I was

Well, definitely a Sheryl Chee character then. I wonder what atrocity Vetra has committed. 

The Power Armor sounds more like a Fortification kind of power, which is a Soldier skill.

So Nyreen is a soldier, and an ex-merc/smuggler. Interesting. I was totally getting 'good turian' vibes from her, and, frankly, I'm glad to be wrong. Not that it wouldn't have made her interesting potentially but I was actually kinda hoping for a more renegade ex-merc type for a Turian squadmate before we saw her. I've always wondered why it is that we see so many turian mercenaries when their culture puts so much emphasis on honor and duty and found it unfortunate we never got to ask.

I'm not really getting Nyreen vibes from her at all. Nyreen was a good turian who lost her way after she was pushed to the sidelines in the military - complete with good girl meets bad boy girl love story. Vetra seems to have a more 'I wanted it so I went for it' mentality. As for Garrus - I could maybe see her being similar to Garrus if you steer him on the Renegade path - but even then he's kinda got a hero complex - he's just more ruthless about it. I get the impression Verta looks out for herself and those close to her, but might not care much about the greater good. I'm finding myself a lot more intrigued by her now. I see her, PeeBee, and Drack getting along well. And I can see her clashing with Liam and Cora (I'm presuming Jaal might be an honorable type now to balance things out).

If she's a romance, I'd rather say there are more chances she's lesbian then either bi or straight.

Depends on the crime and how sincere the person is. To use her characters people like Leliana and Sigrun, sure but characters like Velanna, Isabela, and Rainier, no. 

Hmm, it hadn't occurred to me that Vetra might be a "team mom" [snip]

Heh ... we wouldn't have to do all this speculating if they'd just release some info on her, already.   I'm expecting to find out that I'm way off the mark on all this stuff, but it would make for a fascinating character.

Well they could go for the all bi approach, I wouldnt mind it at all. I hope Vetra is bi and also Cora. All the ladies for FemRyder!

If not and Cora is straight, than yes I could see it too.

Well, they already said they didn't go that way. And from leaked info Peebee is the bisexual LI, so I think Cora being straight and Vetra lesbian makes sense.
I might be wrong, but that's how I feel it'll be if she's a LI.

There's likely a gay male LI in the crew though. While they might have made the lesbian LI As a crewmate, DAI originally and 6 romances, 3 per gender, and Josephine was outside the squad. The same might've happened here in reverse.
