Speaking of Vetra and Drack, I think they might know each other by name, given their line of work. And one/either of them might also make references to either Zaeed or Wrex as well.

SomebodyOfNobody @of_somebody So, @taylorson said his favorite part while being a VA for Bioware was the people he got to work with... SomebodyOfNobody @of_somebody What about you when you were voicing Vetra? Danielle Rayne @daniellerayneLoved discovering Vetra via @sherylchee 's script & @joshingtron & @judyalicelee were my studio heroes. I'm probably late to the party, but Sheryl Chee is writing Vetra? She is responsible for like all my favourite DA characters hyyyyypppeeee Which ones has she done?

Wouldn't it be cool if they worked together once? Either with one another or with Wrex, Zaeed, etc? They might have funny stories!

I don't understand the want for specifically gay or lesbian characters. I understand people want representation, but what is so bad about Vetra possibly being bi? That way straight men can have their first turian romance, and so can gay women! "These straight men want to romance a turian for the first time, just like me- but only /LESBIANS/ deserve to enjoy that! It's only fair!" Anyways, I think they should get rid of the whole straight/gay romance options. I know that in reality, gay and straight people exist, but I want to be able to romance anyone. I was super disappointed not being able to romance Cassandra, Tali, and Garrus. ALSO, MORE IMPORTANTLY! Vetra is taller than Drack, and I'm actually upset about this. What is so bad about having gay characters though? We haven't had a single gay squadmate for three games, unless you count an optional DLC where a temporary lesbian squadmate dies no matter what. If there's none in ME:A, that means they still don't value the idea of a gay squadmate. In your opinion, it's entitled, but for me it's just wanting a gay squadmate for once. I'm not asking for every single squadmate in every game to be gay! What's so difficult about one single gay squadmate? I'd be fine with all-bi system of romances, but they're never returning to that. So, since they're not doing that, I want important gay characters that are going to have a lot of content and aren't just relegated to non-squadmates that are always going to have less content than squadmates you have with you during the game. If they don't, then it's just yet another disappointment for fans that want that content. Anyways, I love that Vetra is taller than Drack. That's not even what he said. Pls.

Oghren was alright. Velanna... who is she? The elf from Awakening? Don't remember really liking her that much, but it's been so long. Maybe I'm only remembering what a bitch she initially was. Sigrun is... I don't remember. Isabela was actually quite bad. Blackwall... I liked Blackwall. Not particularly complicated, but I thought he was interesting. Dog is the best companion. The first time I beat Origins, I wanted to be kind of a "lone hero" archetype, so I only took Dog with me to fight the Archdemon. It was hard as fuck, but he was a good boy.

Not that often you get a female companion who's that angry, besides Jack from ME2 of course. According to David Gaider, she almost filled Anders's role in DA2 until they scrapped the idea because, as I said, they didn't like her much. Not fond of Oghren, though.

Wouldn't it be fun if Vetra was a reason for one of his prosthetics? Imagine, you have Vetra with you when you meet Drack Drack - What the hell is SHE doing here?! Ryder - *sigh* I take it you know each other? Vetra - I wish we didn't... Drack - She is the reason I have THIS! (sticks prothetic in front of your face) Ryder - is this going to be a problem? (both at the same time)Drack - That depends on her *with anger in his voice* Vetra - That depends on him *radiates intense cold* *Ryder backs way slowly from their staring contest*

Well, other people besides you would like a chance to romance certain characters. They're allowed to want that. The problem is that you keep retaliating to those comments with "Why don't you want a gay squadmate?" That's not what he said. That's not what anyone has said. You can't just craft your own version of everyone else's argument and then say it's their fault when they try to defend their position. You're actually being intellectually dishonest by doing that and I'm pretty sure you know it.

I think I might have warmed up to her a bit, but even I can't be sure. Maybe I just want to believe that since Awakening was still pretty good as an expansion. I would've preferred her to Anders though. At least her anger would be somewhat understandable. Anders was a completely different character and it was jarring and terrible. I know they tried to justify it, but it felt weak, in my honest opinion. I wasn't super into Oghren, myself, because he wasn't the kind of person I would really be super close to. That being said, I tried to interact with him more in another playthrough, and I think he's fairly well written. Just... I don't see myself really getting along with him.

The majority of my aggro responses have been to people telling me I should think of the straight men or telling me I should be happy with hetero turian romances or saying "I don't get why we need gay characters." My response to that can only be frustration, since why can't people think of what a lot of lesbians want, for once? Which is, you know, lesbian characters. Anyways, I'm pretty sure Sheryl Chee likes writing characters into women anyways (Blackwall, Leliana, Isabela), so maybe I'll get what I want. If she's bi, then fine, great, but I would be super happy if she's a lesbian because that'll be probably our first gay squadmate we get for a whole game.

It's my understanding that someone said that you should "be happy with Garrus" or whatever on a YouTube comment. This isn't YouTube. No one here has said that, as far as I have seen. What people have said, however, is that straight men haven't gotten a chance to romance a turian either, and they would really like one. That doesn't mean they don't want to see a gay squadmate. It just means they like Vetra as much as you do. Hell, for all we know, Peebee could be the gay one. I don't have any problem at all with you wanting a lesbian character. I wouldn't mind a lesbian character, myself. I've had no problem with them in the past. I just happen to be curious about Vetra, and would like her to be available to more people who haven't gotten a chance to romance a turian before. Isn't Sera gay though? And Dorian was gay. Vetra wouldn't be the first gay squadmate.

Hell, it took 3 games for MaleShep to get any gay/bi guys to romance at all. At this point, I'd take any of the squadmates as the gay squadmate, though I really doubt they would make Peebee gay. They could surprise me, though. Still, to get back on the Vetra train, I think it'd be cool if she had an ex-girlfriend. Maybe not an asari. Perhaps a turian ex-girlfriend she left behind?

I could be up for the ex girlfriend thing, tbh.

I would like to but, I'm too intimated to do so, lmao. Like Snook, she is a favourite Bioware writer of mine. The amount of times I hovered over that send a tweet to Sheryl button.

Just make her a great character. If she's only half as good as our last turian bff then she can be gay, straight or into varrens for all I care. I'll roll multiple Scotts and Saras anyway, so I can be... flexible when it comes to playing her preferred Ryder.
