I clearly stated that I find Ryder attractive, me and other guys? No, I don't find him attractive, and other hetero guys don't find him attractive. We are straight, not gay or bi. We can tell he's better looking for a guy than Sara is for a gal, though. Um, I think I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that English isn't your first language, as opposed to you suggesting that I find him attractive as in you're implying that I'm gay. I suggest that you never say a man is attracted to another man unless you're calling him gay. If you do that, there are very specific consequences on this site for people who make slurs about someone's sexuality. Otherwise, it's evident that there's a significant disparity in the level of physical appearance between the two Ryders. I suppose if you want to think that Sara has been designed to be as goodlooking for a woman as Scott is for a man, then, hey, I'm not your optometrist. You may proceed to say that up is down and down up, or that good is evil and evil good. I won't stand in your way by arguing with you about it because it would be profitless. Let's agree to disagree and leave it at that. I don't think saying a guy is attractive or good looking, without 'for a guy', means you are gay or straight, or that dalinne was implying you're gay. It can be omitted. In any case, I don't it was meant to imply yoy're gay. Do you think there's great disparity compared to her appearance on E3 as well? Anyway, it should be noted that Scott's first appearance in the tech demo was considered plain by many, and his face is quite different in the N7 trailer. If Sara is truly behind in development compared to Scott, it could be that she'll look different in her final version.

Well, OBVIOUSLY my opinion is "not quite line up with other's opinion of Sara" given the fact that YOU have been stating over and over that YOU don't find her hot as hell. That's why I said it was my opinion. I was acknowledging yours And you clearly stated you find Bro Ryder attractive, you and other guys, that's why I said "we can agree on that". It wasn't a flip of mind. I can have those in my own language, but in English I tend focus in why I say things and how am I able to say it. There is not an OBJECTIVE WAY to analyze "attractiveness" so stop trying to make it like the word of the God(dess?) There is conventional attractive people and not conventional attractive people. It's OK you are asking for the former if that is what you want, but then what we are gonna get is not up to us, it's up to the devs. I clearly stated that I find Ryder attractive, me and other guys? No, I don't find him attractive, and other hetero guys don't find him attractive. We are straight, not gay or bi. We can tell he's better looking for a guy than Sara is for a gal, though. OMFG
First: you can be HETERO and find other men attractive. Finding someone attractive is NOT ONLY a sexual thing, you know? Call it charismatic, call it good looking. Second: there is nothing wrong with being gay. If I would want to insult you I WOULD HAVE NEVER called you gay BECAUSE THAT IS NOT AN INSULT. If you think homosexuality is an insult, well, work with those issues. Third: SARA AND SCOTT ARE FREAKING HOT. BOTH. DEAL. WITH. IT. Edit: I've just read you, The Elder King, thanks! Yes, basically that

Don't try to imply that it's okay for me to be attracted to guys as if that's the case with me. It's not. Maybe in your world, but I'm happy being straight. And don't tell me that as a straight guy that being called gay isn't an insult. Calling anyone gay or the "f" word in a derogatory way is a serious insult, no matter what their sexual preference is. So I'm going to flag you now. If the mods want to deal with you, they can. If the don't, that's their decision and I'll abide by it. But don't bother replying to me anymore, I'm done with you.

My boyfriend is hetero and he can tell when a guy is attractive or not. He doesn't feel less a man for that, maybe because he knows who is he and what he likes. I'm nearly to flag YOU for implying being gay is a freaking derogatory term, but I'm gonna let it pass because it's evident this is a very sensible subject for you. Whatever Don't worry, I'm done with you too. But, by the way, Deadpool's character is not exactly the epitome of heteronormativity. I hope that doesn't break your heart

readher has a narrative in mind that he wants fulfilled. He wants parkour type female li with flowing locks that is half a step behind his hero, and is nice to him. He misconstrues feminism as a variety of phobias about gender roles, that, granted are often taken out of proportion on the net. But what is not? I would only say that in my view, a feminist does not begrudge other woman a superlative quality such as beauty, and any way to self-fulfill, such as a relationship with a man or a woman. The women that are portrayed as rejecting men is not a narrative that one subscribe lightly to, no less so than despising women or being entirely misanthropic. If he did not try to validate his opinion by claiming it represents that of a majority, and toned down the rhetoric some, it would be no different than really what most folks do like -a cool love interest that is visually appealing to them personally. No big deal, and understandable.

As retorts have been equally exchanged, I don't feel a need to do more at this point. But can we please calm this thread down. Cute animal pictures will be inbound otherwise... EDIT: Oh all right then, 'bunnies in cups'...

No big deal, and understandable. I validate my opinion by claiming it represents majority because it's true. Look which female love interests are mostly talked about, which get the most of fanfiction and attention. They all fall under universally attractive categories I listed. I have no idea what parkour type female is. As for flowing locks, I prefer ponytails or buns since it's a military setting so it's only fitting. Flowing locks should be left for off-duty. Short hair isn't what majority of men like, you need to understand that. It's a fact and that I'm sure even men who like short-haired women will concede. And the LI can be ahead of my hero for what I care, not sure how it's any relevant (aside from the fact she'd be the one to get shat on should fraternization be discovered). Your LI being nice to you is something you'd expect from someone you're romacing though, no? So I don't see how it's anything special to demand. Would you be romantically involved with someone who isn't nice to you? I doubt it. If my actions as a player anger her, then fine, she obviously has her own values. If she's outright hostile to me for no reason I have no reason to romance her at all though, just like in real life. Whatever feminist say nowdays I won't be able to take seriously, because of ridiculous problems they have. Oh no, you can also play as Corvo in Dishonored 2 as opposed to only Amy, clearly they couldn't go full-on with feminism because they're afraid. These are actual words feminist says and it's laughable to say the least. It's clear that feminist movement shifted to a wrong direction somewhere along the road. Few decades ago they were fighting against abortion seeing it as a tool of control and now they're defending it to death. Such a radical shift in one movement isn't normal.

Few decades ago they were fighting against abortion seeing it as a tool of control and now they're defending it to death. Such a radical shift in one movement isn't normal. You're right. It's about language and control, and we're not buying it. Using paper bags for grocery shopping is bad, so plastic bags are good. But now plastic bags are bad, so back to paper bags again. And then it's global cooling, then it's global warming, then it's climate change, then it's back to global warming. Now we've got at least one poster acting like people didn't and currently don't call each other "gay" or the f-word as an insult, which has caused fights and hospital trips, at least here in America. See how this works? It's about language and control, but really it shows bias and manipulation of facts. You simply can't deny history or try to change it. So, they're not going to change the world because the rest of us aren't buying it. Bioware can make its females as ugly as it wants in order to fight the patriarchy and all that political nonsense, but they're just going to lose and not change anyone's minds. Is your mind changed? No. Neither is mine. And our opponents continue to believe what they believe, too. But the truth is still objective, facts don't care about your feelings, and moral relativism is doomed. And if anyone doesn't think Sara and Peebee and Vetra and Sloane Kelly are a drop in attractiveness from ME 3's crew, then so be it. If they want to deny that SJW politics are behind Bioware's decisions as to female character models, then that's okay, too. Not fooling us. Sara looking at least initially eerily like Anita Sarkeesian certainly hasn't helped the apologists' cause. Or Manveer Heir. Or Sam Maggs. Our minds aren't changing, and neither are theirs. So guess we're all just going to have to keep fighting each other until the end. Still I have faith that there are some reasonable folks still working at Bioware who know what guys like in general, as opposed to girls who think they can speak for hetero guys, or any other hipster who's a self-proclaimed feminist, and here's hoping that Cora is the one we're looking for.

On short vs. long hair: Again, I have to point to typical human behavior, and what generally is seen as desired feminine traits: Long, thick hair = indicator for good genes. On fan art... DeviantArt? Why not tumblr?

"female love interests are mostly talked about, which get the most of fanfiction and attention." One name: SOLAS (176 pages in this forum) [look at this forum, look at DevianArt... female love interests are not necessarily the mostly talked about] "Short hair isn't what majority of men like, you need to understand that." That's your personal opinion easily to refute: ASARI (hairless) "It's clear that feminist movement shifted to a wrong direction somewhere along the road." This quote comes from 1910 1962 1975 1987 1995 2016 (basically it's the typical antifeminist narrative SINCE ALWAYS ) I don't see how Solas is of any relevancy here when we're talking about female LIs for straight males. You should also know that ROs for females have usually more "traffic" since they're much more likely to discuss them and fangirl over them than men who usually experiance romance in-game, MAYBE leave a comment or two on what how it was and what they think about it and leave it at that (with Tali being an exception for some reason, her threads were ridiculously large). As for asari, they're not human so it's hardly a fair comparison. I'd argue they would look stupid if they had any sort hair because of how different they are. And it's not just my opinion that majority of men don't like short hair. It's a fact. There's a reason why most young women wear their hair at least at chin length. It's what most males are attracted to. As for that anti-femminist narrative, don't you think that if it's been used for so long and successfully, if I might say so, that there might be at least some truth to it? Just a thought you should take.

readher has a narrative in mind that he wants fulfilled. Few decades ago they were fighting against abortion seeing it as a tool of control and now they're defending it to death. Such a radical shift in one movement isn't normal. Parkour is an attractive female type of the Lara Croft or Starbucks' appearance, i.e. visibly fit, athletic and trained in martial arts. As opposite to say, dainty and gentle type, that is also quite popular and gets plenty of fanfictions. Written by men. You need not trash or dismiss what other people say or feel, particularly preemptively in order to self-validate your desires and wishes, and neither you have to forcefully assert that there are the multitudes railing behind you. It does not make it in any way more or less valuable to me. What you are looking for is understandable and perfectly fine. How you go about expressing it is making it hard to sympathize with, because you are unnecessary forceful and defensive. You can describe your perfect LI in as many details as you want to, or how the females should look like in a fantasy game in your opinion. I am not arguing with you, I am listening. And you've managed to miss that, because you prefer to shout, rather than converse.

Just a thought you should take. Solas example was a prove of what you said was inaccurate. Then you have changed your narrative and you told me we girl talk too much about love interests fangirling. Then you say Tali is an exception. I don't know what to say because it seems whatever I tell you, you will say I'm wrong because it doesn't adjust of what you expected. I think you are the first person who says the Asari are too different to be mistaken for a human. Now I'm impressed. By the way, Jack was another interesting love interest. She was beautiful and bald. And when I say beautiful, I refer to all her precious face. Yeah, of course! Anti-femminist narrative it's been used for so long because it's right! As slavery! As murder! As Oppression? As MagevsTemplars!

I have a question. If it turns out that Sara's model isn't final and she'll look much better, that Cora is beautiful as well as the other possible romances in the crew or in the planets, will you still think that SJW policies were behind MEA's develpment? Also, if you Believe so, can you explain why Cora's armour has an emphasis on her ass? Wouldn't that be something SJW be against? If the heads are against it, it's clear this stuff won't be in the game. Same goes for leaving the navel of Peebee uncovered. I honestly don't get the point on Vetra though. I mean, she's a turian. There's not much they can do to make her attractive in the more human. Does that mean we shouldn't have female turians in the team? I mean, we had two krogans companions in the trilogy and one in Andromeda. It's pretty clear I like krogans, but I can't deny they're far from being attractive and they take up a spot in the squad that it might go for more good looking male characters for woman and gay man. I don't think anyone ever complained about that. If there are enough beautiful women to romance, what's the problem with having a female turian? I also don't get the point of considering Sloan Kelly as part of the crew. I mean, her role might be as big as Chakwas for all as know, and she wasn't really attractive. Should we make a list of all the minor npcs in the trilogy and see how many of them weren't attractive? I understand being concerned, but I think you might be jumping the gun too soon on this.
