'Ugly characters?' thread

ok, we've let this post run a little, i'd like to have a go at answering the OP (for all the good it will do):

Breaking down the OP's points:

1. These faces are so ugly
2. It makes me not want to play the game.
3. Why do the SJW's have to ruin games like this?

1. These faces are so ugly
    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but judging by the OP's avatar, the OP has a preference for pale-skinned, slim boned women, Leliana, Morrigan, etc.
    Those preferences do not mean that other women are ugly (even if they are not the OP's 'preference')
    nor is it unreasonable for BioWare to portray differing character models.
    By keeping harping on about this, one might start to suppose that the OP's issues go beyond simple facial preferences.

2. It makes me not want to play the game.
    Deciding to not play the game is down to the OP's choice.
    On the same basis that it unreasonable to expect BioWare to limit female character design to the narrow definition of beauty the OP prefers,
    it is also unreasonable to expect everyone else to agree, so the choice to play, or not to, is entirely down to the OP.
    Amazingly, the OP has a big issue with the default female protagonist whose face can be altered to the OP's taste.

In summary, some characters failing to be modeled to the OP's limited personal preference, is not an alt-left plot.
