Reyes Vidal - No longer A Mystery (Official Thread)

While I agree that he's not likely to be a Quarian, I kicked off an ME2 playthrough the other day and ran into the Quarian named Kenn on Omega. So...there's hope?

For now, as curious as I am considering it's Nicholas Boulton, I am content with Reyes remaining our man of mystery for a while yet.

I was just watching Biofan's trailer analysis. At one point (just before 5:00 I think it was) he pointed out a guy with a short military haircut we haven't met yet. You only see him from the back. Wonder if that was Reyes? He was important enough to be in the room with the Archon calling.

Yep, was wondering that exact same thing.

I hope he is Human male with Interesting Story/appearance

I think he's the guy behind the Krogan in the latest trailer. He has a high haircut and a darker skin color. Looks spanish to me... But I am honest... If this guy turns out to be Reyes, I don't really like his appearance. I'm not into this kind of hairstyle und his lips are so small... Hmm, not my cup of tea, I suppose. Hopefully, I like his personality at least. : /

So this is the alleged Reyes? Yeah, I'm not feeling him at all. If he is the gay-exclusive option, M-E-H.



But what's interesting is that Scott says '' we don't need an army, we got a Krogan '' to alleged Reyes, and then Drack turns around to look at alleged Reyes as if to punch him, and then punching fest begins, in a similar setting that Scott and alleged Reyes are seen together. But I do not see alleged Reyes getting manhandled at all. 

But it's also noteworthy that the 5-10 seconds we hear of Reyes' voice in the gameplay trailer, the setting and the place seem similar to where this alleged Reyes is and where the fun lil' boxing match takes place in.

His look does fit the profile of the leak though.

I don't know why, but I get the feeling that no face model was used to make Reyes (if that guy is Reyes) just like Samantha, Steve, Kelly (side romances who happen to be LGBTQ)... I hope I'm wrong.

I don't get the complaints about Cora, she is really attractive and it seems she is going to be really important storywise, if I was a straight guy I would be really content, the complaints about her hairstyle are so childish u_u

Let's not throw the towel so soon. This character might not be Reyes at all despite fitting the vague appearance leak we got.

But I have to admit, a complete turn off for me. When I first looked at him in the trailer, I thought he was just an insignificant NPC. 
Even if he is an amazing character with a great personality and a great romance, I don't think I'll EVER find him attractive IN THE LEAST.

But nothing if confirmed, and this is all speculation. I certainly hope this is not Reyes though.

I thought at first that the guy that we saw behind the krogan could be reyes, but seeing now that he does look like the guy Scott is talking to in the last trailer, I don't think he is anymore... Reyes seemed to be a crew-member, no? Someone working with us, at least... Some kind of advisor or expert, someone we're in good terms with... I can't put the two pieces of dialogue together... Not that is impossible, of course, maybe our relationship with him is long and complicated and it changes a lot, but at first sight, the two characters don't seem like they could be the same person to me... Maybe I'm missing something?

I hope Reyes is what it seemed to be in that first scene, even if he's not available to me, I think he sounded more like a character I could like. Maybe this guy is even a LI for Scott, but more as a fling or something?
