I wouldn't buy any. I would start my own company, then hire former Bioware employees to make games. But since the question is which company to buy, I would look at getting EA, mostly because of Bioware, Capcom because of Resident Evil and Ubisoft because of Assassins Creed. 

Hrungr I think I'd do all that and buy Guerillas, after playing HZD and watching the video AnDromedary posted am most impressed with the people and HZD and what I saw of there other games.

Actually did anyone here play ther Killzone games?

Yes all three on PS3, they're pretty good for gamepad FPS's!

A couple of things here. It's a delay insofar as I said it was coming in October. EA has never said anything publicly about this with the except of Andrew Wilson saying they had more remasters coming in a May earnings call. Gonna let EA announce it before I say more.

When I first mentioned this, it was early days of Covid and it seemed like a sure thing. But I definitely regret bringing it up now because it's putting pressure on the teams that they didn't ask for. So feel free to get mad at me and not them.

But one aspect those fans won’t get to experience regardless of how much time BioWare gets is the multiplayer. EA doesn’t plan to include the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer in this package. Something like that would turn this remaster into a live-service game, and that is likely not worth the investment. The publisher could instead put those resources into Apex Legends or another, new cooperative shooter — although that is just my speculation.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will, however, include all of the downloadable content for all three Mass Effect games. This will enable players to get the full experience included in the purchase price.

For those interested, here's a summary I received of the podcast...

"The release date was pushed back internally. It’s not really a delay as EA/BioWare have not announced the remaster’s existence themselves yet. They were originally planning for an October reveal and a later October release. The ‘delay’ isn’t really a surprise, due to the pandemic; the team is working remotely, which is a challenge that everyone is facing right now.

Specifically, the reasons for the pushback center around ME1. Its remastered version wasn’t coming up to the level or standard of where the other two games in the bundle are at, and the team was worried it would bring down the overall quality of the whole package if they didn’t address this. These issues with ME1 are both in terms of its visuals and gameplay. With the extra time, the team is going to focus on ME1 and try to make sure it lives up to peoples’ expectations.

In terms of a comparison with other remasters, the ‘upgrades’ in the remaster sound closer to what was done with the Zelda HD remasters than what was done with the Mario HD remasters (there was some editing that happened with Zelda where they spruced some things up and made some things work a bit better).

The reason EA and BioWare haven’t said anything about it officially yet isn’t that they’re holding anything back or whatever, it’s because the news was originally ‘broken’ by an external party (Jeff Grubb from VentureBeat) who had insider knowledge.

Microsoft published the first ME game. Jeff believes that they probably don’t have any involvement in the remaster, based on “images” that he’s seen. Said images also seem to show “involvement” with PlayStation and “maybe even putting a foot forward on PlayStation”"
