Exactly. I had one other pie-in-the-sky theory - if it's not a trans-galactic relay, I wonder if it might be a ship (that would serve the same purpose).

Ten years ago @caseydhudson and I worked together to reveal Mass Effect 3 at the Spike VGAs.

This year, it was fun to work with him @gamblemike and the @bioware team on this new Mass Effect reveal moment.

This trailer is a great example of a great collaboration between the show and the studio -- it went through a number of revision and tweaks based on what would play best at TGA.

This was one of the first locations I had the opportunity to work on for Andromeda when I started at BioWare. I remember being pretty nervous but also eager to make some cool stuff. Thanks @mrjoelmac for giving me a chance to work on such an awesome project!

Went back to Kadara Port (and other places) after getting a new GPU that begged for everything to be set to Ultra … pretty amazing.

It could be, with settings on High, it was still pretty cool, but I was too immersed in the story to look up and take notice.

So much creative stuff "wasted" because I've got my head down, takin' care of business and not taking in the scenery.

If some of these names don't sound familiar, here's a quick breakdown of who is who:

Derek Watts
Watts is the original Art Director for the Mass Effect series

Brenon Holmes
Holmes has worked on the entire Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age Inquisition and Origins, Andromeda, and more dating all the way back to Baldur's Gate II. He's a lifelong BioWare staple and intimately familiar with all of the evolutions this studio has undergone

Parish Ley
Ley was the cinematic direct for the Mass Effect trilogy and he is returning to BioWare and the series specifically to bring back his vision for the new game
Gamble also notes that he was the mastermind behind many key moments that Mass Effect fans love

Dusty Everman
Everman was a key person when it came to bringing the vision of the original Normandy to life in the first Mass Effect game
He left BioWare back in 2015, like Ley, but is returning to add his talents to the new Mass Effect game

Holmes and Watts never left the studio, though they did work on other franchises, but Everman and Ley are both returning to the BioWare fold for more Mass Effect goodness.
