Seems to be a lot of games missing that would be better IMO than at least half the games nominated. Very subjective criteria for selection as it's just the IGN staff if I read it right.

Again, personal preference is not taken into account, but, I assume, IGN's poll represented the broader views of its community. If they think ME2 is the better ME game, that's final. If someone wants to object, they'd be better off sending a complaint letter to IGN's editors and whine about how their personal favourite wasn't included in the poll and how offended they feel about it. It will have a better effect than asking about it on the BSN.

With the mabari, I think like some dogs their tails are cut so that they don't get in the way of battle since they are war hounds. Same reason a lot of fighting dogs don't have tails. Especially since as you said, Autumn has one. And I don't dislike Varren and agree. I just love the interactions with KEI-9/Sophie more.
I just find cutting an animal's tail to be highly disturbing, animals need tails to express themselves and as rudders for movement

...that's my opinion anyway...or maybe it's due to the fact all the dogs I've owned thus far have had long swishy tails so maybe I'm a bit biased

Except boots for when it is super cold. Protects them either from frostbite or the chemicals used to de-ice burning their paws.
True, and also when it protects them from flies or heat...that's an exception
but putting clothes on for example a dog because it's 'fashionable' just makes me shake my head

It doesn't even have the greatest game of all time... Half-Life 1!
Though seriously, I do wish they had separate Indie & AAA competitions. Games like Inside & Journey are great, but so few have actually played them, they'd never get out of the first round.

I played it 4 times in a row and I am actually missing playing it ATM, is that sad? The game play updates and graphic enhancements in particular to MME1 made it far more enjoyable.
