Looks like some kind of military rank symbol. Not sure if Bioware will ever bother to explain it. That's an Asari doctor. It looks like a med bay to me. Gameinformer podcast said there were Asari doctors on the human ARKS at the beginning of the game. Wonder if there is more mix inside the arks... You guys? Nope. I'm still very interested. I never expected, nor really wanted, a space-flight simulator in Mass Effect. Not only would a properly executed simulator work much differently than most think, but it's also something that almost demands its own game entirely. I'm also not worried about Nomad's lack of weaponry. The lack makes sense, since we are deployed primarily as explorers, not infantry. While I liked blowing things up on the very edge of sight with the Mako's cannon, I nearly always got out to fight on foot. That's where the game will shine, anyway, in feet on the ground combat. I want to see them all now! I guess I'm most eager to see the weapons and biotics, because of gameplay questions. The "lore stuff" I'm feeling less impatient to see, though no less eager. |

yeah by "the asari in the trailer" I meant the asari in doctor's clothing in what looks like a med bay (on what is probably the hyperion near the start of the game) at 0:04 or so in the trailer, not PeeBee as others stated PeeBee didn't come on the Hyperion, she came on the Nexus, so we likely meet her during our adventures not have her as a squadmate right off the bat. so, if Liam has "really cool hair" then I doubt he's the black guy from the two teaser images, because that guy is very nearly bald with his very close-cut hairstyle. yes I know this is BioWare "10 variations of bald".. but unless the tweeter is just super-pleased with how great that guy's near-baldness looks, yeah. or unless it is liam and they changed his model after taking the image. anyway, I am going to choose to be optimistic and hope that "Liam has very cool hair" lends some credence to the notion that hair options for characters who aren't white will exist/not be abysmal. I've been wanting something that could approximate Nathalie Emmanuel-type hair for years (since long before we knew of Nathalie, she looks like my wife), even if it's pulled back and very subdued. Just try to approximate the curly texture, right? I think you'd see it on tons of PCs of every ethnicity. Curly hair is not the province of one group. Sadly, they've never managed it.  Here's to hoping for variety! And more than 4 functional eyebrow options... and generally useful options of any and all sorts. If one eliminated the stuff that very few would ever actually use in DAI, you had very few real options available. |

This complaint seems just as ridiculous to me as the people who tweet the devs asking if the game is any good. |

I think that I already read something similar on Reddit. They said that the Deluxe Edition and the Super Deluxe is Origin exclusive and so you won't find them as a physical copy. Bummer... I would really like to have one and not just a virtual copy on the 'net...  ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸
I avoid virtual copies like the plague.... internet cap and all.
So, that means you'll get only the regular version? Or do you plan on buying both versions? I think I'll get one of the Deluxe versions (for the bonuses and for getting the game as fast as I can. It might be a while till it gets imported into my far away country) and I'll buy the regular physical version once it will be on a special discount sale in one of the local stores so I'll have the box a physical media... Kinda like what I did with GTA V. |

Here's to hoping for variety! And more than 4 functional eyebrow options... and generally useful options of any and all sorts. If one eliminated the stuff that very few would ever actually use in DAI, you had very few real options available. Hopefully there'll be more eyebrow options, we sorely need them. In my opinion Bioware's eyebrows are on par with the infamous "50 styles of bald" and are among the more frustrating parts of the CC. How many versions of super bushy and almost-unibrow do we need? |
