I found out it's a tracking issue in Firefox by googling. If I click the shield icon in the address bar and disable tracking, tweets show up, changing the tracking options in privacy options did nothing. If you don't mind explaining where to find the shield icon on the address bar. I've been looking and don't see anything resembling that.  Hope this helps. Edit. This image is from a previous version of Firefox, the drop down in the latest version of FF will show a option for tracking protection. |

I can see the tweet on my laptop that uses firefox, but it has Windows 10. My desktop has Windows Vista. That is the problem. I also installed Chrome. I can see the tweets with Chrome, but it will no longer support Windows Vista. I was hoping to avoid looking at two different browsers or using two different computers. Oh well. I'll get over it. It's likely that he and others are watching more forums than this one, at least initially. I also think it's a bit of a disservice to think of a couple of Bioware devs joining as official approval of this forum, even with the 'kinda' in front. It's just a couple of guys working on the game who might check in here once in a while in their spare time  the more we think of them as being "representatives of BIOWARE!" instead of simply "Jos" or "Barrett", people like the rest of us, the more I imagine (although I could be wrong) that we're unintentionally discouraging them from hanging around. I humbly suggest not making it about them being "official Bioware devs and everything they say must be analysed and is official confirmation," which would surely be rather exhausting for the individuals coming here. We could just allow them to chill and not make a big deal out of their presence (By the way, not saying you would act like that, it was more of a general sidetrack thought I had upon reading that one line of your post.) |
