Odd. I wonder why she wouldn't have succeeded. Unless by "if warranted" they mean neither kid was available to take his place. Which says to me that Cora may be a bit older than the twins and outranks them except that they inherit the job rather than get it through experience. |

Huh, guess that's thing number 223 that Bioware will need a solid explanation for. Also, the whole let's implant ourselves with an AI thing is beyond scary to me. Especially as this was only just after the Project Overlord fiasco. |

Called it waaay back that these two would be the starting characters and that Liam could be black. Liam's hair looks like mine... all disheveled in the morning when I wake up.
Cora's hair style reminds me of LT. Tasha Yar for some reason.
Scott's armour is pre-Pathfinder.... looks like the game intro will be interesting.
Tempest's fast legs saved them.
I guess the 15 min trailer is still in the works.

I give that trailer a solid 7/10. They finally showed us what Cora and Liam look like, we got some close-ups of a "new" race even though they've been background characters in other trailers, and showed some footage that confirms Cora as a romance option for Scott (as if that was actually in question, lol). Beyond that, though, there really wasn't too much of note that I saw.

If I'm honest, none of the story stuff in that trailer caught my interest at all. None of it sounded particularly unique or exciting and once again it wasn't edited together all that well. What DID catch my interest is MY RYDER'S NEW BFFS! That got me hyped more than anything in the marketing so far! SO glad to finally see Liam and Cora's faces after all the mystery and I actually like the look of the new alien race. However, I'm noooot huge on how everyone looks texture-wise. The surroundings and environment are fine, but the characters look rather....gummy? And shiny? Can't say I'm surprised, but it was a bit disappointing. Tbh Frostbite's never been great with people though it does locations and surroundings brilliantly but people it always struggles a bit with. I will say looking at today's trailer however it's definitely an upgrade on DAI though. |
