I kind of got the Cerberus vibe from Alec Ryder's bio. The implant was designed for the advancement of humanity. This statement made me cringe a little. I am wondering if this is setting the stage for a xenophobic conflict within the Initiative.

The moment I saw that Angarian close up, I was like "if there's going to be an Andromeda LI, one of them will probably be from that race". They're alien but not ugly alien and they seem like they're purposefully designed to look approachable. It's all in the eyes. Also, Cora is pretty much guaranteed to be related to the Illusive Man. There's no chance that's coincidence. And honestly it'd be weirder if Cerberus DIDN'T have presence on an enormous voyage for humanity. All I can hope is that they aren't a big antagonist group again because I'm just about done with that noise. Seems like it would be hell to get a helmet over those heads though. Eesh. Also, yea, it does seem pretty obvious that Cerberus would have some sort of interest in the Andromeda Initiative. They're obsessed with anything that advances Humanity's cause. That ok, if Cora is a spy I'd still rivalmance the crap outta her. i remember after the Initiative video with Jien and Alec someone asked the devs if Cerberus was coming along for the ride and they said no Cerberus this time around. to busy with other crap going on in the MW. Also watching the briefing i noticed that they changed Sara's face a bit. specifically the mouth and nose area. |

I had the worst kind'a reaction to the trailer. Apathy.
BioWare seems to be going in the midst of "all explosions are good explosions, especially when they come from bad guys" route. Instead of them just kicking your ass, like is what would really happen, they gotta make something seem fantastic, like asplosions. Wish they would leave that stuff for the DA universe. Color me meh. I am happy that we got to see Liam and Cora, but I'm not too overtly thrilled with either of them, TBH.
And they better not make SAM the same level of intelligence that they made EDI. Let's see, based off'a a piece of code that has been around for millions of years or a guy putting his entire life's work into it which might last about 130-150 years? Yah, I'm just not seeing it. She has forgotten more than he'll ever know.

I give that trailer a solid 7/10. They finally showed us what Cora and Liam look like, we got some close-ups of a "new" race even though they've been background characters in other trailers, and showed some footage that confirms Cora as a romance option for Scott (as if that was actually in question, lol). Beyond that, though, there really wasn't too much of note that I saw. ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸
Besides the poor editing, you mean? The video is a montage of various non linear video scenes.
Cora appears older than Scott. But, I expected that. The kissing scene is much better than previous efforts.
PeeBee is carrying a weapon on her back in the Nexus/Tempest @ 00.08. Really Bio? Also, it looks like Vetra, Liam and Cora are wearing their combat armour while Scott is in his Ai fatigues. I guess casual wear is only for the Ryders.
Also there is a landing shuttle @01:03.

That's true. Alec prolly had some sway over the Alliance and pieces of Sovereign, but still. If he had used that much of Sovereign in it, it would've reacted and tried to kill them. Either that or indoctrinated all of them. Ya know, either or. |
