Honestly, Cora does look a little on the older or experienced side. Though her rank (Lieutenant) might susggest she could be more on the younger side (after all you get called a 'Lieutenant' in the army after graduating from a military academy, OCS). ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸

But how does spending four years embedded in another military organisation affect your Systems Alliance rank? Especially if you leave afterwards to join a civilian-funded initiative. She certainly hasn't had a standard career path. |

Speculation below.
Cora became a LT on Alliance graduation. Served in the Alliance military for a few years, quit and joined the Asari outfit for four years and was recruited by the Ai when she left.
What I found "interesting" is that she describes herself as LT. Cora Harper. the Ai organization is non military...... Hmm

They might use ranks, or maybe she was lieutenant in the Alliance. the briefing shown the original Pathfinder team. Drack, Peebee, Vetra and Jaal (obviously the latter) weren't part of it. They're recruited after Scott become the Pathfinder, most likely, and after the team loses Alec and the sibling we don't pick as our PC. |

Well, given the individual cooldowns it's easier to work with the weight system. And we don't know if it'll be the same as in ME3. |

Some people like to play a only weapon gameplay? And it is not like you can't use power anyway, it just makes you think before you try to lift that enemy that you just as easy could have shoot in the face.  |

I don't think she quit the Alliance per se, at least not to join the Asari. From the briefing video "She was transferred via the Citadel Council Valkyrie Program (a subset of their interspecies military integration plan)". All I meant was this might cause her not to gain rank, meaning that it's not necessarily an indictment of her abilities or performance that she's still a Lieutenant. As to why she still goes by her rank, well it's a civilian-funded initiative but it seems to have at least a paramilitary structure. |

Some people like to play a only weapon gameplay? And it is not like you can't use power anyway, it just makes you think before you try to lift that enemy that you just as easy could have shoot in the face. yeah that and Soldier class dosen't really have any powers per se as their special ability really is being able to use all the various weapon and ammo types not really throwing shockwaves or singularities or sending combat drones in, which biotic and tech specialists do. I tend to use all the slots when playing as a soldier in ME3 but when playing as another type I don't tend to use more than 3. Normally the 3 I've got my character trained up in so it makes sense story wise but still. |

To be honest, that kind of bugs me because how would that looked equipped on you? Would the shotguns clip into each other? Would you have no guns at all until you enter combat and then they suddenly appear out of thin air? No. it doesn't work like that any more. There are not dedicated slots for each weapon type. In the gameplay trailer, Sara has a shotgun in her hands and a second shotgun can be seen folded on her left shoulder slot. In the nvidia gameplay trailer Scott carries two assault rifles, one on each shoulder. I guess we will have all rifle sized weapons (snipers, shotguns, assault rifles) on our shoulders and all pistol sized weapons on our sides. Also, it seems that now we have 4 weapon slots instead of 5... Well, I'm taking one sniper rifle for ranged combat, another fully automatic for assault, a third sniper rifle for close range in case things get personal, and finally, a sniper rifle as a sidearm. |
