I think they will, people are usually very thorough with their leaks, especially when Bioware has advertised this (the different kind of romances, not specifically the sexual/non sexual romances) as a big deal in how romances work. Of course there's the chance that leakers don't care to announce which romances have sexual content and which don't, but would Bioware do it? I can't remember if they did it for DA:I.

I can see where the devs are coming from. This is probably their way of containing the spoilers to a smaller time window pre release so people don't go shoving spoilers into the faces of people trying to avoid them in non spoiler discussions for people that still want to discuss the game.
But more than likely they will be revealed by other means pre-release, dev confirmation or not. And like you said it wouldn't hurt to know a few to generate discussion.
Because let's face it Bioware has successfully managed to inflate romance, an aspect that probably doesn't make up even 5% of their game, to the nth degree which is remarkable when you think about it. They have only themselves to blame for revealing Cora and generating hype around romances between pixels.

Cullen and Cassandra were the first confirmed as LIs, but I think only later it was said about the gating. The others with tweets. Solas was a casual tweet from the devs that revealed both LI status and gating. The VA was vague but never confirming anything, this I remember quite well. The last revealed LI was Blackwall. I think Sera and Dorian were revealed together, but I can't remember.

I... think it did for Josephine? But I think that was her voice actress who said it, and not something that came from the writer. Right? Solas and Dorian was discovered after people played their romances.

[PAUSES] Unless we aren't talking about which romances have mandatory sex scenes.

Cullen's VO sorta leaked his romance, which forced Bioware's hand into stating he and Cassandra were options, but didn't say until much, much later that they were straight and that Cullen was only available to elves and humans. Varric's status as a non-option was given through a Swedish magazine, not even in English, and in the middle of the night. Solas got leaked by Darrah via Twitter cuz he thought they'd already given out all the information.  Bull's was basically revealed through his character bio, but he wasn't officially confirmed for all races until, ah, PAX? Dorian was revealed by Gaider in an interview. I... I can't remember Sera and Josephine, but they were revealed via interviews or twitter, not leaked. Blackwall was the last to be confirmed, via the Romance Post that listed all sexualities and gating.

Mass Effect's LI's are more likely to be leaked, since they aren't really revealed? I remember having to wait for the Prima Guides to leak before knowing that Joker wasn't an LI in ME2. And ME3, actually, since the datamining of the demo was a little old, but ended up being accurate on the LI front. So I wouldn't expect a good idea of our LI option until EA Access starts.

The moment I saw Cora has short hair I knew there was going to be trouble. And now she is too fat, apparently. I don't get these people...

Any comment on coras weight is extra silly because most of the time we have seen her in armor.

Well, we have enough info between her armour shots and romance shots to say she's not far.
I think it's fine to criticize her if you don't like her or her hairstyle. But certain ones go way overboard in illogical arguments.

I'm lost looking forward to finally having a human combat drone.

Actually thought Cora was a bit on the skinny side....



There are more important things to do in life than argue about a virtual person's weight.


Bottom line, people have too much time on their hands.

I think that's what gets me, personally. If they were saying they wanted to let us find out for ourselves, they should have done that for everyone. Instead they revealed one, and now they're saying they want to keep it a surprise (except that one). So if feels kind of unfair. Especially seeing how, once again, as with the rest of the trilogy (judging by the trailers at least) it's an option for the straight guys that got revealed first. Which also happens to be the group of people that tends to get the most romances... So it's the same group getting favored here. Just makes it doubly irritating.

So yeah... I get them wanting to advertise that romance is in the game for potential new players, and showcasing the pretty human girl for Scott gives you the most bang for your buck. But maybe reveal just one option per gender/orientation via twitter so all the loyal hardcore fans who follow that sort of thing have something to talk about too? Doesn't mean everyone's going to necessarily love that one option, but at least everyone's in the same boat, as you say.
