They were cut, though. no new info in that article, for anyone catching up and wanting a quick summary. more on the salarian squadmate who was cut, from a prior interview, if anyone is interested: Q. Mac, I remember you speaking to Game Informer and mentioning a squadmate that was cut in development. From the races represented I’m going to make an educated guess and say they were salarian. Can you say anything more about why he didn’t make it and if we might ever see him again?
Mac Walters: You know game development is a constant series of decisions - there’s always going to be some scope reductions. Because we decided to do loyalty missions that meant every squad member had their own special mission plus a significant amount of relationship dialogue. Ultimately, the only reason we chose to cut was because of that. It wasn’t that we didn’t like the character - I believe at the time it was just which ones were furthest along. As for whether we’d see them again in the future - it is possible. I think a lot of people like the idea for the character. But you never know - sometimes what we do is instead of coming back to it in the game he’ll come back in a book or comic or something like that.
Q. Mordin is my favourite character so, as a salarian fan, I hope we see him again.
Mac Walters: [laughs] Part of it too was we’re playing up the Tempest crew members much more and we have a salarian on the crew. We put a lot of investment in that character.
Q. He’s the pilot, right?
Mac Walters: Exactly.

Well there was 5 different default faces to play with which you can tweak from in DAI so it makes sense they did the same for MEA. None of the faces were based on real people though. That's quite the improvement.

but compaints are about her being fat?? lol where? bioware tend to make females skinny like skeletons not fat come on...i mean im skinny, but i can barely do any sporty stuff, let alone fight hehe i would want them to have at least a bit of muscle, she's freaking vanguard! but sara at least doesnt look like a dying swan, so theres that. Some of the fat comments appears to be apparently based on the romance shot as in my avatar, saying that her arms and torso don't look like of a woman 172 cm tall weighting 61 kg. It's illogical, since she's clearly not fat, but the arms appear different in some shots. My assumption there is that she works out. She needs to be physically fit to do what she does. As a vanguard who might charge into the thick of things, muscle would help. Also, muscle is heavier than fat so having muscle may make a person weigh more.

That's what I mean the face is older than 30eesh. I'm OK with the arms... unlike some other character I've seen.

So far I only have seen 1 person on Cora's thread that has made that claim, and even that is obvious a troll/bad joke. If there is people anywhere else that is saying that, it is just because they must complain about something. Female companions are always put in a bad light by a minority of "players" that don't like the face, the body, the lack of DD cups and the like. For now there is some people that don't like her hair (nothing wrong about personal preference) and someone that don't like that she isn't a bimbo that put Mirandas "assets" to shame. Nothing new and nothing important.

You can do a full edit on Scott & Sara and then Alec will sort of try to match how the two look. • @mikasniehausis it true that we can customize all 3 Ryders? Ian S. Frazier @tibermoonYou can customize both twins individually, and the dad will automatically resemble you (to an extent).

There's always that possibility too. But the way he's phrased it, I think it's worth keeping an eye out just in case. Oh, absolutely. I just get the vibe that they're hitting a development milestone for the Secret IP, and so it'll be an interesting day, but just for those in the know. Hope I'm wrong though.

It seems that many of our squadies have charges as powers. If their AI turns out weak I will have to ditch all the charge based powers from Cora's and Liam's loadouts. Let's not forget that biotic charge and havoc strike were always used as detonators in all types of combos and never as primers. This means that in order to achieve team combos our squadmates must have the AI to recognize a combo opportunity whenever a primed enemy is nearby and not just blindly use their charges left and right. Of course if the power wheel was still in place all of the above wouldn't mattered that much but now that the wheel is gone we're no longer masters of the battlefield.

I'm just concerned because of what they did with default femShep and Hawke in DA2 where you couldn't tweak the defaults without mods. Hopefully you're right!
