I thought they imported after saving a game file … I saw an active Shepard, but it doesn't, it was one of the defaults … take one of the 18 defaults that matches up best with a run, then modify it to match what you did.
In some ways, the goofy names I gave my Shepards helped out … gender/class/LI … the defaults come with gender, birth circumstance and personality (e.g. lone survivor) … everything else you set up using the Tapestry. After that, your Shepard will show up … eventually, you can uncheck the defaults and only view your custom Shepards.
Yes, I seem to remember this from before, when it was first released. But I did not see any way to change Shepard's first name?
Click on chosen background, in the upper right corner there's icon to copy hero. Once you've done that, you can customize them.

Yeah but what about the Geth cannon one? No answer thought not. . Tbh that's the one that bothers me most not the Benezia one. As I find Benezia easy compared with that. heck I fin dthe fight with Saren's corpse at the end more difficult than Benezia.

Ah, Ok. I think I found a sweet spot to attack from in one of my playthroughs and since then never had problems, that's why that wasn't on my radar anymore. I think I was more annoyed by the Hammerhead itself.

Yeah I have a cheat to help m ege tthrough it in th eoriginal bu tobviousl ythat's unlikely to work in the LE. The people who made the cheat though aer going tobe working on one tha twill work withthe LE as I've asked them but of course the LE has to come out first and even then it's not guarabnteed to work. Bu8t yeah the fact the Hammerhead is just an explosion waiting to happen whenever yo uuse it does make it annoying. I kind of lik ethe fact tha tit does maneuver a lot better and faster than the ME1 Mako but the fact it can' ttak eany punishment kind of mitigates that tbh. I only prefer the Mako due to the fact that a tleast it can take a hit or 2. Though I was kind of glad they did away with vehicles for ME3.
What worked for me on insanity was to move from one end … take down the shield barrier (and actually move before it comes down, because there is a lag) and before the Geth canon can target you … fly the other end, repeat. By the time the canon repositions, you're off to the other generator.
Once the two outside generators are down, you can shoot one of the two inner generators from close to where the outer generators used to be. This gives the Geth canon a larger arc to cover and more time for you to shoot a shield/generator, before the Geth canon can target you.
If I got careless or cocky, I'd get to do it again, but if I was paying attention and didn't get greedy, success would follow.

Wel lwhen you have a disabilty like I do then it becomes hard but I guess I'm stuck with hoping the cheats work when doing that section
I've never tried to hide in the stream banks or anything like that … just scoot back and forth across the map to give myself time to fire on a shield/generator and the scoot away before the Geth cannon can strike.
But I don't know what your specific limitations are (and it's none of my business), so it was a shot in the dark … that missed.
