i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target. j00t Fires Of Heaven www.firesofheaven.org/
My bet is still something small on N7 Day. We still have two games for EA to market for. Sadly nothing more on ME:A #space teases we've been getting until then...
Yes, but both of those games come out within a week of each other in October. N7 day leaves MEA's path clear.
At least, that's the optimist in me talking.
I walk on the side of optimism as well! It'll happen when it happens. I've got too many other things going on (wife, 3 kids, 8-5 job, Bodypump Instructor) to have time to be down on no ME:A news. Which also means my gaming time is a premium! Hopefully ME:A is worth the wait

Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon Man, I would LOVE to see the telemetry data on how popular each of the 4 controls schemes are in DXMD. Absolutely fascinating.

Think they've pretty much said they won't have anything until EA's next two big titles come out. That's probably a mandate from EA. I believe they've stated that...am I wrong?

There's some factual disagreement also. Wikipedia says 2.7 Ghz, Ars says 11 Ghz. Which is it?
And the stuff about Kardashev Type II comes up every time some weird signal is seen. Why must the explanation always be a Dyson sphere? Which also doesn't make sense in this case, since we can see the light from HD 164595. Wild speculation like this is just going to create a Cry Wolf situation, so that when a real signal is found, everyone will ignore it as another false alarm.
Inquisitor: Is that innuendo? Sera: No, it's at the front!

Seems like a false alarm, just a signal like millions we get from space, just this one leaked to the media. The signal was gone once the russians double checked.

Wait, was this inspired by the Arishonk and the brave Bioware employee who volunteered to sacrifice his life to drive him off?
Jos @sjosz Reminder: Making games is hard work. How easy something is to think up isn't indicative of how easy it is to make.
…
Jos @sjosz I get that not being in game development means you don't know how hard things are to do, but don't assume you know how it's done.
Jos @sjosz There's good reasons why games take years to make instead of weeks. We don't sit around playing games a bunch. It's not magic.
Richard @richardjsimkins I used to think like them, then I tried creating something of my own. Man, was I stupid.
Jos @sjosz best way to cure yourself of those thoughts.
Jos @sjosz Seriously, go ahead, try and make something. Making even a small game of your own is the best way to gain insight into how much it takes.
