Not exactly a tweet, but figured it's important nevertheless. Peter Moore from EA basically shot down any hopes of an ME trilogy remaster. He basically says they are easy money, but they don't need it and would rather invest time and resources into new IPs and games (like MEA).

Sad but reasonable. Remaster the trilogy with a new engine requires plenty of extra work, some people here pointed out. It's better they are focusing in Andromeda. Do something right or don't do it at all

Yeah, this was the right decision. Completely agree that BioWare should focus on creating new games. I'd only want a remaster if they could farm the work out to another studio...

K, not gonna lie. Don't entirely understand the raptor attack at the end of the chain there...? Is that @sjosz saying they want to murder us for the hair thread? lol
I think the raptor video reply was specifically about this exchange:
BSN BioWare forums @bsnforums @sjosz Truth: Showing photo of hair. Not the same as coding hair. ...
Jos @sjosz @bsnforums @proboards ... "Clever girl"
So in other words, Jos is agreeing that showing a photo of hair is not the same as coding hair. Jos is saying "clever girl" to @bsnforums.
Since the original tweet Jos was criticizing has been deleted and the entire account taken private, we can only speculate about what the triggering "photo of hair" was. Not that it is hard to guess ...

Inquisitor: Is that innuendo? Sera: No, it's at the front!

Wait, isn't the reason the old forums were nuked was because Twitter was now a better way to communicate with devs?
I think this sadly confirms many of us thinking they got rid of the forums so they wouldn't have to deal with negative feedback, but on sites like Twitter if they don't like what we have to say they can just block us out.

Some of their devs, like the racist Manveer Heir, has explicitely stated as such, noting how he loves how with Twitter and Facebook he can block people or something like that.
Reading this makes me think EA has some kind of Dissociative Identity Disorder.
At one point in the article, Moore even mentions that as part of this "player-first" model , they want to show games earlier in the development process...which is no where near what they're doing with ME:A.

Considering some of the things people wrote on BSN prime it's hard to blame then...

Oh I agree but it also locks out decent fans who wish to speak to them. By having full control over what makes them happy, they aren't expanding and reaching out to fans like they said they wanted to, and trolls causing trouble can easily make reaching them harder due to them having to make their account private for the sake of a few.

No, it's easy to because the blame is all on them. You don't punish all for the actions of a few. If those few are causing such a big problem, ramp up the efforts of the Moderators.
