They didn’t get the labels switched. The LE has far more detail, like some of the nebulae cloud. I like the LE version better.
I just examined it for a few minutes and the brightness and the fog/cloud effect are all that I can see that is different and those effects ruin the clarity of the original picture which it seems to me that there is a lot more detail.
Yeah, the LE picture definitely looks blurred to me. I don't understand how that equates to "more detail"??? Though given it has the annoying lens flare, it probably is the new version. Maybe it's just a bad snapshot in the shortcut? I didn't watch the video.

I didn't think it was better in the video but again if the labels are wrong.......
In this special episode of Audio Logs, BioWare's Mac Walters discusses how Mass Effect 2's squadmates were created, and how the team made the game's iconic Suicide Mission.

I would have loved the crazy Irishman version of a quarian king.

It has put me off pre-ordering.
They added motion blur into the video when it pans, heavily.
Some of the new stuff looks like post FX guy, senior designer and team leader all have put their favourite settings on at the same time, and then they all say "but wait until you see this in HDR!"
But I'll be seeing later on how ME1 really looks and feels.
[ LegendCNCD / AsariLoverFI ] MEA Rules! Waiting for ME5 - Look's like sometime in 2186, everything went to hell. We got out just ahead of it! MEA & ME1 (>>>> 3 > 2) -- DAI > DATV > DAO > DA2 -- 3500h+ & maxed out all 02/2020 in MEAMP, APEX 137001+, DAIMP (576/761/201), ANTHEM, SW BF II, FO76 - Drinking tears of MP lamers since DooM & Quake in 90's softknees.bandcamp.com/
The problem here is it looks kinda foggy and the citadel lights look washed out. Some things are better in the original.
Agreed. This is the only one I've seen in comparison shots where the original looks better to me though. Still not a fan of the lens glare. Fighting in Priority:Earth right after landing is a nightare, between the sirens and the flashes. I'm sure the new version makes it even more impossible to see anything.
On Mass Effect Archives, you can request to unlock any and all achievements/DLC's of MET and MEA, in case you completed/acquired them but the site didn't recognize them.
Male quarian squadmate in the next Mass game pls BioWer
If they remake the trilogy, replace Tali with Kal'Reegar.
Elizabeth Nancy Shepard - Earthborn/soldier/ruthless Humanity #1 I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite playthrough in ME Carolina Panthers(3-7) vs Kansas City Chiefs(9-1) Nov 24 1PM CBS #7Alabama Crimson Tide(8-2) at Oklahoma Sooners(5-5)Nov 23 730PM ABC/ESPN+ If you see a soldier or veteran, shake their hand and thank them for their service

I bet I'll need to unlock all ME1 stuff, since Origin doesn't store ME1 achievements
If three humans are in the room, there will be six opinions.

It's kind of hit or miss … I had to unlock all my ME2 achievements and a small chunk of ME3 … even MEA was missing "stuff" that I'd completed.
I tried syncing my history, that helped a bit, but I still had to go through and unlock several achievements that Origin reported as complete.
On the bright side, while it's a bit tedious, it's not difficult and doesn't take that long for the entire MET and MEA.

Yeah, after checking it, it turned out I only had ME3 and MEA achievements unlocked. Had to unlock everything for ME1 and ME2, as well as all rewards and DLC for ME3 and MEA. Keep was better at unlocking stuff

I had nothing unlocked for ME1 or 2 even though I replayed them about a year and a half a go, about half stuff from ME3 and most stuff from MEA. There was a problem maybe of my own making I unlocked 100% Achievement for ME Archives but it meant I then couldn't unlock 25%, 50% and 75%. It meant overall I was stuck at 76% for that.
I thought they imported after saving a game file … I saw an active Shepard, but it doesn't, it was one of the defaults … take one of the 18 defaults that matches up best with a run, then modify it to match what you did.
In some ways, the goofy names I gave my Shepards helped out … gender/class/LI … the defaults come with gender, birth circumstance and personality (e.g. lone survivor) … everything else you set up using the Tapestry. After that, your Shepard will show up … eventually, you can uncheck the defaults and only view your custom Shepards.
Right now there is nothing to export the world states to … neither for the MET, nor for MEA. That will be true for the MELE too … until NME comes out … then I expect the world states to be exportable … either MEA, MET/MELE or (if they link the MW and Andromeda) perhaps both … but if NME is hundreds of years after the MET, I expect at best a few codex entries and perhaps some unique dialog with Liara and whatever other long-lived characters make appearances in the new game. If NME is not synced up with the MEA timeline, then I'd say only the MET/MELE world states will be relevant. We'll see when the time comes.
If you have 15 runs, you will be able to create a version in the Tapestry for each, but the Tapestry holds a max of 10 world states, the others will be there, you'll just have to move one into the Tapestry and one of the actives will be moved out. It's not great, but it's not too much hassle to move a world state.

I'm locked at 76% as well, with ME and ME3 rewards locked. It's probably a bug. I used ME archives when they were released and it's showing that way since then.
David Whitaker - LV1 @fameent2k We got to sit down with the one and only @daniellerayne
If you are a #MassEffect fan you will appreciate this!
Mass Effect News @masseffect_News Interesting.
Danielle Rayne (VA of Vetra) did an interview recently where she was asked whether she will take part in any new BioWare projects, including Mass Effect or Dragon Age. She stated that she can't say anything about it due to NDA.
Make of it what you will.
- Makes sense. My guess is still that they're going to bring the MEA cast and whoever's still alive in the MET at that time together in the next game.

Are the labels wrong because to me the Original seems better?????
I think it's less clear because it's a Twitter video, which doesn't have the best compression.
I finished ME1 yesterday and the original video is a pixelated mess, so I think the new one is a lot better. I think they went overboard with the fog effect, though.

Yes, I seem to remember this from before, when it was first released. But I did not see any way to change Shepard's first name?
