It honestly staggers me that Andromeda has basically been dubbed a 'failure'. Sure it has issues, and it definitely needed another 6 months in the oven, but it's like the studio execs have got completely swept up in the hysteria around it and are talking like it was released to a barrage of 3/10 reviews. I was so excited about where the franchise was heading; hoping some of Andromeda's issues would be taken into account for the next game and much like ME1 to ME2, we'd see an instant classic in MEA2. You don't just give up on something like this - you stick it out and make it work. I have to agree with this post. Especially since, even though there are things I didn't care for in MEA, I liked it MUCH better than DAI which most seem to think is the holy grail. I hope the article is wrong and that they continue to improve upon what MEA can become. ETA: I also have a negative zero desire for any game that is anything like Destiny or Gears of War or Battlefront. I play BioWare games for the little bit of rpg element left and the story telling of SP mode. |

Source on that? If so thats 2 years, crazy talk. Next Elder Scrolls might not be until 2020, or 2021! Dragon Age might be 2019, possibly pushed to 2020 now. What am i going to play the next 2 years? AGH! For me there Horizon Zero Dawn that I still have to play. I will continue playing the DA games. I will continue playing the trilogy and MEA. I'm looking forward to the new God of War game which will be released, most likely, in 2018. Another game I'm looking forward to is Darksiders 3 which will be released in 2018 |

If EA/Bioware are smart, they'll jump headfirst into the sequel and make it the top notch, AAA polished experience that Andromeda should have been. Skip nonsense that takes up a bunch of unnecessary development time, like they tried to do with Andromeda in having randomly instanced worlds (and failed), and focus on the main crux of the story and gameplay.
Nothing fixes a franchise like a superior sequel that serves as a palette cleanser.

Oh i have plenty of stuff in my backlog, but i tend to go back to the same games over and over. Love RPG's! Man, i wish i had some of your problems. I have so many games to play and no idea how to get through all of them and new ones are coming out all the time... Oh i have plenty of stuff in my backlog, but i tend to go back to the same games over and over. Love RPG's! Still i was just being a bit dramatic earlier - Prey just came out, and i want to buy it, looks great. yeah asme here for the past few years or at leas the last 2 I've been spending most of it alternating between ME and DA. Juststarted my 3rd run through of MEA as Sarta and got the Eos vault running this afternoon. I've got the patch but the outfit's not showing up atm. Which makes me think I'll either have to start again or wait until my next playthrough before I use it personally I'm thinking because it dosen't look like I'm going to like it much or use it so I'll wait till my next playthrough to pick it up if it dosen't show up before then. But right now I'm kind of alternating between MEA and DAO atm as I'm currently rolling a female rogue Cousland on that. |

I'm not sure what to make of this alleged news about the future or ME, surely an announcement like this, if true, would have come from an official source, if however, this is false & just clickbait, then I don't quite get the reasoning behind it, jumping to conclusions benefits no-one.
So for now, I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic

Admittedly not quite up to the same standards as ME2 and 3 but still decent enough to get a few playthrough's out of it at least for me. |

But, yeah.... no. lol Thank you, BioFan . lol If this is accurate and complaints about ultimately superficial things like facial animations (and not all of them, either, just certain character models) have actually killed this franchise, some feckless executives and all of the complainers need to be shot. in the foot Such as the dumbasses that I see showing up in my youtube feed declaring Andromeda the "ultimate failure of Bioware" and such. I mean, any execs actually taking that as anything more than extremely salty feedback to adjust the game with in the future are idiots. Its not a reason to stop the franchise all together. And all of the complainers piling on are being idiots, too. I have my own issues with the game, but its still a good game. Some complainers talk like its the second coming of Ride to Hell or something. If kotaku's tone is actually right, way to ruin it for the people who like the game, guys. |

Make a couple of story DLC's , bug fix, and the game is perfect for the opening of a new trilogy, easier than just throw all the work done imo

Apparently not for everyone. My Scott's hair was previously quite nice, but now it looks like it was painted on. And it's plastic-like shiny in some spots as if the paint is only half dry. Or something.  Ugh... my Sara has long flowing hair so I guess more to work with.  most Sara's do bu then I like my Sara that way with her long bouncy ponytail. |

It was supposed to have been yeah obviously their plans changed that they decided to give us a sporty type look instead. But I do agree it's not a great outfit if they lose the headphones I could see myself maybe RP'ing a character using it but I don't know. But I don't see myself using it often if at all. Let's just hope there are still more casual outfits heading our way. |
