At this point it really feels like anything could happen. In the past we've had BioWare DLC teased and previewed months in advance, buuuuut on the other hand we've also had DLC we knew nothing about revealed for the very first time with the tagline 'Available Tomorrow'
Given they haven't actually discussed DLC officially at all yet, we really have no idea whether it's all been shelved, the schedule remains unchanged and we're actually getting multiple content drops, or it's something in between.

A story grabbing DLC with top notch hollywood cinematics is what BIO needs right now. It will prove that the studio still has the talent.
Unfortunately, it will be marred by the pizz poor menu navigation for R&D (among many other). I mean, I can't find, for the love of me, a way to compare a new armour/weapon set (when deciding what to do) with my current loadout in the same screen. Same thing when picking up armour/weapons from the field. I have the option to equip but NOT compare.... ridiculous.
Frankly, a new DLC is an opportunity to fix the main irritating warts from the campaign. Problem is time, resources and cost vs what Bio hopes to gain from the effort.

I'm on Voeld, currently, and she's had no dialogue changes, yet. They also specified that the updated cinematic were mostly in "the early game", so we're likely safe. I expect the recording work was for DLC. I just had the other thought lingering in the back of my mind. It's not a real concern, to be honest. Edit: In regard to Voeld, the Level-2 Condition is now insane! I'm freezing to death at the first minor combat encounter. I have to reload and equip Back-up Life Support. I hope those expendables are now working. :/ |

Speaking of adding. Twice now (in patch 1.05 and 1.06), I've encountered a cinematic situation where the camera is zoomed in on Sarah's face and she's speaking to someone to the left of my monitor, yet no sound is heard from her mouth movements. Once her line is finished, all is back to normal.

Considering the patch work and additions to the character creator, etc, I'd guess its closer to Leviathan's release schedule since they had to finish the "extended cut" prior to working on Leviathan. I guessing early Sept at the earliest. |

Edit: In regard to Voeld, the Level-2 Condition is now insane! I'm freezing to death at the first minor combat encounter. I have to reload and equip Back-up Life Support. I hope those expendables are now working. :/ Ha. On my recent insanity playthrough, I was close to death by the time I got to the first heater after leaving the ship. All in about 30 seconds. I couldn't stop laughing at watching the yellow bar get lower and lower. I run fast (holding shift) and was able to reach the solar emiter. I Just followed the lights and run like hell and Ryder and Cora got to the base safe and sound but PeeBee lost both hands to the frostbite.  |
