Hum, don't know if this has already been asked in the forum, but here : Can someone tell me what about this giant Reaper-like Remnant at 1:10 ? I just have finished the game, 99% completed and all quests done (almost all, few boring tasks left), but i never met this ennemy. Did i miss something or is this just a cut for the final version of the game ? Thanks That's Architect from Eos. Hum nope : The architect are what we see couple of second later in the trailer, this one has clearly a different design.

Hum, this is still weird, we clearly see two designs, the architect design (Eos or Eladeen ok, but still), and this "giant one" design. The 2 designs appear in the trailer so i don't understand why the one at 1:10 is supposed to be the architect of Eos. I can admit that but it feels like this is a part they decide to cut at the end (and this is no the only missing scene from the trailer). Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Maybe a new position in the company? Shush let me dream. He is a producer now, wonder which job he would be promoted to. Far away from ME i hope... Maybe a new position in the company? -(_MEA_)-
Hm.. Positions... positions... like Janitor? or Exit? or Bug Exterminator?
Let's face it, with ME on ice, what is there to be excited about?
Who said it is on ice?, perhaps EA will give it to another Bio studio... i hope.

Nah.. logically there was no where else to go but north. Best thing for the series is to go back in time at the height of the Tevinter Imperium. Bio writers can create lots of new material with new chars = no DA1-3 baggage.
Say goodbye to Varric.
ROTFL. The series just began cashing in all that they've been setting up since game 1. Varric's going nowhere, as is the 'baggage' of last 3 games.

So you're directing a video speculating about a game's sales to the only people who have the actual sales figures? Good luck with that.

Yeah, they won't be watching that, I'm afraid to say. Companies don't tend to pay attention to such things unless they cause a massive uproar.

I see that Michael Gamble updated his twitter now says: Producer (Mass Effect), Bioware Edmonton.Looks like he will work on Dylan now. Either that or Mass Effect is moving back. That's what I'm hoping for at least. I think Montreal was given the shot at making ME:A happen while Edmonton worked on DA4 and "Dylan". Obviously, it didn't receive the reaction they were hoping for so, in attempt to right the ship, it moves back to where it originated and Montreal works on EA Motive and ME DLC. I mean, it makes sense but who knows at this point. I know that Sinclair Networks has been working with BioWare on the 1.08 patch (the one with character creator changes, M/M romance additions among other things) since March 20th per their Facebook page so, if it's a early June release, we're looking at over 2 months of work that started before the official release. Sinclair Networks is also the one that recommended to Rockstar that they delay Red Dead Redemption 2 until Spring '18 due to needing the extra time to create a "quality game". Conversely, on March 6th, Sinclair made a recommendation to EA that ME:A be delayed until June 20th to complete all the necessary "polishing" of the game but, in that case, it was obviously denied. Their comment in regards to Rockstar delaying the game: "Fortunately Rockstar listen to their development crews so this was a smooth transition" So, with patch 1.08, you are probably looking at the game we should have received had EA listened to Sinclair Networks recommendation to delay the game's release. Also, I think the reaction to ME:A is what led "Dylan" to be delayed in order to make sure they don't see a repeat of ME:A's release and, hopefully, a concerted attempt to salvage the Mass Effect franchise.

Agreed. Moving the franchise back to E doesn't solve the underlying problems unless BIO mgt accept the need to ensure quality before publishing a game. Let's hope putting the game "on ice" is only temporary.

It wouldn't solve all the problems, but it would go some way to shut the "Montreal is why MEA sucked" crowd up. I wouldn't be surprised if ME is moved back so EA can say "look, we did something" without making any substantial changes in the actual development process. Of course the real lesson is that Andromeda should have been delayed when it was recommended...

Exactly...We're not allowed access to the internal machinations between BioWare and EA, or BioWare itself for that matter, but the fact that the 1.05 patch, the one released on April 6th that cleared up Addison's face/etc, was started by Sinclair on March 4th means they knew the game wasn't ready way in advance. I don't think BioWare, as it's creator, would allow it to be released without being fully polished so it leads to EA as the one's pushing out the door to meet it's Q4 projections, the health of the franchise be damned.

Whilst unlikely, it is possible that EA weren't aware of the game's state approaching release because no-one at Bioware told them. We don't know if it was EA or BW that ignored Sinclair's recommendation, and it could have been mismanagement on BW Montreal's part because they were overconfident in their product. Of course it's more likely EA just wanted it pushed through before Q4 end. To be fair, I did really enjoy the game, but much of the backlash could have been avoided if it had been delayed a couple of months. And it strikes me as odd that EA would ignore a recommendation to delay it if they knew about the game's problems, since they are driving to improve their reputation among gamers, and this is a sizable step in the wrong direction in that regard. I would say it seems more like an internal BW mistake, where the management at Montreal didn't want to admit to having problems to EA.
