Everybody looks like a potato in the game - all the faces are too round and puffy. DAI has a similar issue where Hawke's angular facial features can't be reproduced in the CC. So, for me, any improvements are appreciated.

It doesn't match with the in game Cora we get, but as melbella said I think that is a symptom of the game itself making everybody's heads a bit puffy. I always have to remember to narrow the jaw and cheeks to compensate.
The pic on the book is probably somewhere in between the above pic and the game.

It's not on twitter as I don't use twitter, but I have news involving Mass Effect. I've finally released my mod for Mass Effect 3 called Spectre Expansion Mod. It's been a long time in the making, and I'm really proud to finally have a release for it.
The object of the mod is to make the Spectre Terminal into something worth visiting, it adds a lot of new decisions to make there, adds a new store to the game, new items, item balance changes, edits to certain missions, expands the galaxy map to include anomalies to explore and many other updates besides that. The mod requires EGM - Expanded Galaxy Mod to work properly.

They do it out of courtesy.
They know they don't have a lot of vocal range, or the usual "facial" cues that the other races have, and they want to be good neighbors, so they just erred on the side of clarity.
I imagined them teaching their kids in school how to speak to aliens "Yes, we know it's a pain."
So there you go. A bit of trivia. Possibly self-evident, but thought I would share.

Narrative RPGs are arguably all about choices and your power over choices. Choosing a class and a background lays the groundwork for the whole experience of a game and provides a springboard for roleplaying. In the first Mass Effect, for example, you're given two key choices at the beginning of the game that effectively select which version of Commander Shepard you want to inhabit. You decide the personal history and the psychology of Shepard. You decide whether they grew up as the nomadic child of navy officers or on the streets, and whether they matured into a scarred survivor, renowned war hero or a ruthlessly efficient commander.
Each of these choices does have an impact on how characters initially relate to Shepard. Yet for all the backstory, it's hard not to shake the feeling that Shepard might as well have been dropped into the world at the moment you start the game. It's hard not to feel like you're merely guiding Shepard through a world, rather than truly inhabiting the character. The choices are big and can be incredibly satisfying prompts in the hands of a dedicated roleplayer, but the apparent scope of the choices - what was your entire childhood like? - compared to the minimal impact they have on what might be a 100 hour adventure means they can feel a little hollow.

Are they basically arguing to strip out character development because it doesn’t change the plot points drastically? Thatbis stupid if so. Not all choices should alter things greatly. It’s nice just to flesh out who a character is.
And this is the reason I feel both Inquisition and Andromeda are beloved by fewer people... passive and active character development that doesn’t always translate back to the main plot. It’s why I loved Bioware games and find them far better than critical and mainstream darlings like The Witcher. The PC is mine to shape through a variety of ways.
