ArcadiaGreythinking about how many romances/bed them and leave them one could squeeze into Dragon Age Inquisition. I think that if you went in the order of Iron Bull to Cassandra to Dorian to Jose you could possibly manage it as a man. I think as a woman, you can only manage 3. Bull, Sera or Blackwall, then Cullen or Jose.

Convinced Sera to open all the locks for me underneath Haven's chantry. She's a helper. One of the things which drives me nuts is you can't get your rogues to pull that trick for you in the library at the Winter Palace. (There's one or two rooms that a rogue can open in the library.) It doesn't even pop up as a dialog option with Cole who you actually find hiding in the library if you took Cole with you!

Now, I'm going back to my favorite class, the rogue. This is Alighiera Hawke (and of course, her dog is called Dante)
She will either end up with Fenris again (I really did grow fond of him after I couldn't stand him for a long time) or Isabella (she is such a great character to have around). I used to romance Anders, because I like his character for most of the game, but I like a bit more sanity around me nowadays A Divine Comedy reference! My father would love you! (He's a retired Italian professor.)

Now that Fallout 4 is boring me, I've become too godlike at the moment, decided to start a new game of DAI. At the moment my naïve Inky is in the prologue of the game.

Just in case anyone was wondering (I mean, probably not but you never know) I have abandoned Carathir Lavellan in the Frostback Basin for the moment because for some weird reason I suddenly felt the overwhelming urge to play Pillars of Eternity and and finish off a playthrough with a Priest of Eothas that I started months ago ... I will return to my elfquisitor after that, though! It's not a bad place to take a break, since I only have the DLC to play.

So I started with a new Hawke (Jasmine) She isn't the default preset, but I used the optional part of trufflesduval's chargen mod to keep the default family looks. Jasmine wasn't taking any shit from the templar or his wife. But when the darkspawn killed my little brother, and all hope was lost, we were saved by a dragon that roasted the darkspawn... The witch got us safely to Gwaren, from there we took ship to Kirkwall. Only that mod I mentioned earlier couldn't stop Uncle Gamlen taking a beating with the ugly stick. (I'll have to add him to that mod.) i.imgur.com/TMvL4kD.jpgSo we had to work a year for a smuggler named Athenril. i.imgur.com/sMVFfIG.jpgAfter the year was up, we had met a Dwarf with a plan to get us in on a sure thing. But by that time I was sick of being mistaken for Bethany... i.imgur.com/PEywBHK.jpgSo I got myself an iconic haircut. i.imgur.com/sLYAkUO.jpgWe broke into our mother's old estate to try and retrieve our grandfather's will. Not that we didn't trust Uncle Gamlen...Actually yes it was...It was because we didn't trust Uncle Gamlen. We fought our way to the vault and got the will. i.imgur.com/nhKOh2g.jpg We were attacked by some gang on the way to meet the Grey Warden at the chantry.

My youngest nephew, the most clever and gentle one of the bunch. I'm impressed with his discerning opinions after he finished the prologue. He is intrigued and likes it well enough but I know he will not be continuing with DAI because 1] he's not used to the game / camera controls, I could tell. He's used to the 2D lookdown view. I guessed he was feeling the onset of a headache too and he said he was. 2] He's in the army and has not the time. Once his term of service is over, he will be continuing with his studies. * Had a funny at Frostback Basin. Ran along one of the streams and saw a gargut on the side I wanted to be. I was planning to cross over when he did a little hop and .... hopped over to my side. Okaaay, that saved me the trouble of coming to you.

Always wise to disable leaping shot for your archers before this fight! :D Unless of course he got pushed off by a tentacle. Then he'll respawn where he got kicked off and get kicked off again if you don't move quickly! I will put the text in spoiler tags for @domi 's benefit: don't open the tags, they spoil a possible end of DA2 for you. You can look at the picks behind the second spoiler tag, they don't give away anything from the Hey, thank you, but don't worry. I don't really mind spoilers & the game has been out forever. I'm playing my Renegade run through ME3 atm, and then I will have to decide if I want to take a break and play DA2, risking not finishing it before Andromeda, or just stay with MET and run a third protagonist on Hardcore difficulty. Also Inquisition was 50% off, but since I have no time for it for sure, I have decided to skip purchasing it for now again. It's not going anywhere, heh. But if this price point stabilizes in the next year or so, it will be an attractive option after Andromeda.

In any case, the first PT of any game is usually just to feel the world out; you can skip things, etc. You know you'll be back to have a cleaner PT to correct all your first PT mistakes. (Unless you conclude the game sucks on that first PT! ) As to Inquisition, it's 3 years old now. I don't see it getting more expensive; just fluctuations between "cheap" and "very cheap."

I am sort of evolving towards just one PT. I feel that I have made a mistake in the past stalling on multiple replays of the same game and because of that kept away from newer games too long. I would not have been just starting 4 or 5 year old games right now.... some games though are too tempting not to replay because they change so much, and are so good. I dunno, I tend to be a fangirl when I really love something, and can't leave it well enough alone. I sort of like the DA games precisely because I've liked it, not *LOVED* it.

A Divine Comedy reference! My father would love you! (He's a retired Italian professor.) I'm a huge fan of the Italian Renaissance and Dante Alighieri and I started taking lessons in Italian, so that maybe ... really maybe, I will be able one day in a far future to read the Divine Comedy in the original language

Always a good fallback position! You do have to worry about archaic words here and there, though surprisingly, Dante's Italian is closer to modern Italian than Shakespeare's English is to modern English. (I'm American; Brits might disagree on that point!)

Always a good fallback position! You do have to worry about archaic words here and there, though surprisingly, Dante's Italian is closer to modern Italian than Shakespeare's English is to modern English. (I'm American; Brits might disagree on that point!) That is one possibility, I will try when my Italian is a bit better . I always found Shakespearian English much easier than medieval German (I'm from Germany and I love medieval music and I still had a lot of problems with the medieval german language . But I crossed the lines with the Canterbury tales, they were really tough to read, fun, but tough To not stray too far from this threads purpose: I'm still playing Alighiera Hawke, but I had to redo her from scratch, something corrupted the game and Anders thinks, he is in a relationship with her, not matter, which point I load, I always get some lovetalk from Anders and I was aiming for Fenris or Isabella. I don't know why that happened, but I decided to start over. So for now, Alighiera had arrived in Kirkwall, agreed to work for Athendril and met a certain lyriumtattooed elf. Next stop will be Sundermount.

Restarted Origins with my canon Warden so I could experience his story again. His name is Yuri Brosca, his sister is an angel, and he is Very Grumpy. Today he got called a worthless waste of space by his alcoholic mother (and everyone else) and had a heart-to-heart chat with Leske about how Life Sucks And Then You Die. Just another cheery day in Dust Town.

Me too. Cousland will always be special but both Brosca and Tabris are excellent origins. They really give the game a different feel, especially when you go back home.

Brosca is absolutely fabulous! I like most of the origins though. The only onme I haven't been able to get into is the mage. Maybe it's the robes. The ugly effing robes.

Played some more DA I and met up with Blackwall i'm almost complete when it comes to my companions. And then i sided with the Mages i don't why but i almost always side with the Mages. After that i did a few more side quests and then i did 'In Your Heart Shall Burn' i love that quest because it means i go to Skyhold and i love that place for me that's home in Inquisition.
And it opens up more possibilities as well.

Elise did the first part of the Emerald Graves and wound up having to consume 2 health potions due to poor armor, so I spent some time schlepping back and forth between Skyhold and the Black Emporium crafting her some decent armor. Now she has some excellent tier 3 armor with guard (she's a mage) that will last her through the whole game. Then she went to the Temple of Dirthamen to try it out and what a difference it made against the arcane horrors. Next on her to-do list is a new shield for Blackwall before she goes off killing dragons.
