I think I'll go play Dishonored II where Emily's dishonor is brought about by her youth, at the weight of duty that rested on her when she was too young, the failure to realise she could not leave the reins of the empire in the hands of her retainers, her failure to understand how her people were faring. Her journeys opened her world view and she learned. 

Sera's dishonor is refusing to countenance what she is, who she is, the world she lived in.  

Have you found all of Iron Bull's sex pie? He has pie stashed everywhere for... energy, or something. There's one under his bed and one on top of the training dummy after he smacks your ass.

And secondly, this is a thing that happens to sooo many people, I am no exclusion. I never got out of the Hinterlands in my first PT and it felt more like a chore and was no fun anymore. But when I discovered that I could go someplace else, everything changed. A while back I read up on things that are easy to miss in the game (since I am a completionist and don't want to miss anything) and the first thing the article said was "Get out of the Hinterlands!". ^^

Looking forward to reading more of your adventures in DAI. I like hearing from people who play for the first time, since it reminds me of that awesome feeling when everything is new and exciting and interesting. ^^

I've read some mangas a long time ago, and tehre were elves, that looked a bit like those in DA2, tehy had longer ears though. But I'm no manga expert, so I don't know, if those elves were typical for manga elves, the DA2 elves just reminded me of them (and sadly I don't rememebr the name of the mangas. It was a series and it was not bad for someone who normally doesn't read mangas)



I have Dishonoured 2 lying and waiting to be played too. Is it good? I saw some videos on youtube and instantly fell in love with this world. It looks a bit steampunkish with all the gadgets and so. And I like Emily. I think, I have to pump my computer a bit up to play it though.
To not going completely off topic here: I agree about Sera. She is a bit too much, I mean no one (not even my Dalish inqui Riya) is talking to her about elven lore or something like that. No one makes any remarks (apart from Solas and I think, tact isn't his strongpoint) about Sera being an elf. Would it be too much to ask, that she does not accompany every elven ruin or statue or so with some rude remarks? I like Sera most of the time, but I love to kill her sometimes for her elven comments.

I found the portrayal of the templars in Inquisition not that extreme too. They could have been a bit more present, but apart from Lucius, who technically is a seeker, I found them ok. I think, one can't really judge the templars, taking red lyrium, because if even being around this stuff makes you extreemly paranoid and aggressive, ingesting it drives you outright crazy. So basically they were told lies and then it was too late. I think, most of them didn't even know, what was the deal with red lyrium until it was too late.

I can understand Vivienne and to some point Wynne. Viv was always a free soul in the circle, she only heard from the hardships in some other circles and thought probably, that this were unfortunate exeptions from the rule. And Wynne had a lot of freedom later too. I don't know, how she dealt with the loss of her child (is that adressed in Asunder?), but later she was nearly never in the circle and it seemed to suit her, so to keep that status quo, supporting that particular circle, helping her in her wish of exploration, can be understandable. And I agree about one thing with both: it is necessary, that young mages learn how to use their talents responsible, wether it is some form of circle (not circle as a mage prison, but as a mage gathering) or a school.

About Jowan: I liked him as a character, but he is also not the brightest guy around, so I was really worried when he started using blood magic. It's like giving a really aggressive guy a machine gun and tell him to get nuts. Jowan doesn't seem to have the grips on 'normal' magic, using the turbo speed did make me worry a bit. I never killed him though. maybe he can learn from his mistakes

Welcome! Hope you thoroughly enjoy your DAI playthrough. Have you played the previous games or is it all new?

Welcome to the board. Glad to see, you enjoy DAI. Is this your first Dragon Age game? If so, you should consider playing the first two too, because they are fun and you learn more about the world.  The dwarf with the crossbow (Varric) is a companion in DA2 too.

I would recommend to change companions occasionally - they are all good, so you don't have to fear to weaken your party, plus they have very interesting banter with each otehr and it really pays off, to have different companions with you from time to time.

Glad you like Vivienne (the dark skinned mage). Many players don't like her that much, but I love her

On the Morrow

Revel ran around Kirkwall, checking out the merchandize. He was surprised to see that certain items in the stores now bore the names of his associates. Of course it was Kirkwall, where everyone knows everything about everyone else, but still… he decided it was the safest to purchase the suspicious goods. The only thing that prevented a bout of paranoia was that some tags read “set aside for a very nice customer, Isabela”, and he had never met anyone by that name.

The shopping spree quickly emptied his purse, so Revel went to see about a way to make more coin. Arishok of the Quinari (ah, so much like Gamlen, say they would move out “on the morrow” every day for three years…) intimated that he had concocted a scheme. They’ve let a greedy dwarf to steal fake recipe for the secret explosives. Any tot in Ferdelaine would be proud of such devious plot… still, it’s a way to make coins.

Following the trails that smelled of money to be made, Revel paid his respects to Arianni, the paragon of the saintly motherhood, elven style. Her troubled mage-son (is there any other kind of a mage?) was still plagued by demons, nightmares, exorcism… Anders’ voice jumped almost a full octave… Revel felt like putting this particular venture off for a time, not that he did not feel for the frantic mother.

Mothers… his own seemed well enough, dressed in silks, her hair washed and coiffed. She’d gashed over his good looks and fortune (not unpleasant at all). The only fly in the ointment was the way she'd ended her monologue. “Revel,” she’d said, “perhaps I should start looking for a wife for you.” A woman who eloped herself, now eager to play matchmaker and arrange these matters for her son? How droll.

Revel only shrugged, stared blankly into space and thought that mayhaps traipsing through the Fade for a while won’t be that bad. Particularly if Anders is to accompany him.
