That's one thing I never did in DA2. Have Fenris kill his sister. Maybe in some future playthrough I will Normally not of course, because it is not good for him (me also never did it, as never did that send him back to Danarius, or send the mages to the Kirkwall Circle), but this is a psychopath Hawke. Nice idea, I think.

Elena Lavellan went to the Boring Oasis, killed some spiders, opened a door - just the one though.
Went to Therinfall Redoubt, got Envy out of her head.

That's one thing I never did in DA2. Have Fenris kill his sister. Maybe in some future playthrough I will Told Aveline to kill Wesley (although I messed up that click, wanted to do it myself.) Told Lord Harriman it wasn't personal, murder knifed him. Let the Slaver and Javaris think we were good, then murder knifed them both. Told Varric to kill his brother. Then told Fenris to kill his sister. It's rather surprising what you can talk your companions into doing, especially when I was so very willing to do all the killing myself. Funny enough, I kept Anders from killing that mage girl, Ella. My Dexter Hawke is all about control, and he wanted to remind Anders of the leash. But so far on my first evil Hawke, the worst thing I've done is sell Fenriel's soul for an attribute point.

Even when I played a ruthless Hawke, I never have Fenris kill his sister. I have done the other things you mentioned It's... really evil! Murder Hawke is just helping Fenris realize he likes to kill, just like Murder Hawke likes to kill. The murder of Verania has released Fenris to start a new life, with none of those moralistic family ties to drag him down. Now they can be together on even ground. It was the only way.

My Dexter Hawke is all about control, and he wanted to remind Anders of the leash. But so far on my first evil Hawke, the worst thing I've done is sell Fenriel's soul for an attribute point. Hawke can let Meredith kill Bethany. I was sort of neutral about that choice when I heard about it. When investigating the mind of Murder Hawke a few things come up. He sees everyone in the group as a possession. He is severely irritated that the Templars have kept him away from one of his possessions, Bethany. He was annoyed that a mage Bethany kind of cramped his style, but he didn't hate her and she was max friendship when they parted. (even playing as Angry Hawke, I got 15 friendship points off the bat when I told Ser Wesley to back off from possession, Bethany in the flight from Lothering.) So, she thinks the moon of Murder Hawke, but only because she didn't see all the evil things he did and liked how he protected her; even if it was out of a sense of "mine" rather than love. Anyway, as I recall, but I haven't seen it yet on this play through, Meredith actually threatens Bethany to get her to go along with a request. Not to mention how she tries to order him about and speak for him. So, he hates Meredith. And when it comes to siding with the mages or the Templars, that will be his guiding point on it. He wants to kill Meredith, not help her; he definitely doesn't care about the conflict or choosing which side is actually the good one. And when Anders blows up the Chantry, his "Possession" has shown that he is permanently off Hawke's leash and must be put down. So, unfortunately for me in that I don't get to see more content, Murder psychopath Hawke will not be siding with the Templars and killing Bethany. I will have to craft a new sort of psychopath just for that, I guess.

So, third PT of DA2. Had never played Sebastian stuff. Elthina told us it wouldbe difficult to get into the Viscount's locked room since they'd closed it off. So, I go to Hightown at night...and see a guard right outside. So, I'm like... okay, some scene with a guard is going to happen. But nothing. I go right in. Then the whole place is filled with guards. uh oh... battle? What? No. Nothing happens. I literally walk right up to a guard. "Oh, hello, there Champion." All cheery like. I laugh. Seriously? Okay, maybe it's just the Viscount's room that will be "difficult". But then those guards do nothing either. Don't even join the battle against the Resolutionists. ----------- My first PT, I didn't know Cullen existed outside of the two scenes he was in. Because 50% of NPCs have little bubbles over their head and don't really say anything. It wasn't until my 2nd PT that I talked to him extensively. This is my 3rd PT and I discovered you can have quite the extensive conversation wtih Seneshal Bran in Act 3. He thinks of you as a headache; but what it really tells you is the political situation in Act 3. I never got that in either of my two previous play throughs. Wonder who else I didn't know I could talk to. ----- If you look out the Windows on your Hawke Mansion Estate, you can see Eagle Statues on the outside of your own home through medium size slites. But then if you go outside and look at your house, there isn't even a ledge by the tiny slits. --- After talking to the De Laucents, The Comte tells the Comtess to lie down. As I went through all the rooms to take their stuff, I actually wandered into their bedroom. The comte was sitting and the Comtess was actually lying down on the bed. NEAT. ---- Also, the entire feeling of the game is different if you are Evil Hawke. As a do gooding Hawke who just wanted her family to have a better life, the whole game was super frustrating and sad. The sense of failure kept rising until you finally got to leave that stupid place as a refugee. AS Evil HAwke, I don't like Kirkwall. I am bummed Mom died. But I am PART of the chaos. I am absolutely doing nothing to make the situation better, sometimes I make it worse, and it doesn' tmatter so long as my Hawke gets some sort of improvement. Whether it be the thrill of the kill, money, or just to annoy his companions. Being part of the chaos instead of trying to fix it has been rather rewarding.

First finished up Crestwood and then headed to the Western Approach. Crestwood is one of my favorite areas and I really enjoy the small plotline it has. Afterwards I headed to Adamant Fortress to confront the Wardens. Ended up in the Fade, had to leave Hawke behind. It definitely wasn't an easy decision, but the way Alistair talked about my Warden, I just couldn't leave him behind. I also really like Alistair as the Warden. They did a really good job with his character and the callbacks to Origins. Tomorrow it's off to the Emprise du Lion and the Hissing Wastes. I haven't finished up those maps that often, since I usually lose my motivation to finish the game after Here Lies the Abyss. Not a big fan of the final showdown, but I want to play the DLCs after finishing up the main plot for the first time. And play Trespasser with a 100% complete save, even though that shouldn't matter all that much.

Welp, last night I booted up DAI for the first time in many many months. Picked up where I left off with my fem Lavellan mage. Swung by the Black Emporium first, then fixed my weapons/armor back at Skyhold, my companions gear, went to the war table etc. Then talked to Vivienne, she's gonna be the Divine in this playthrough, goddammit, forgot I messed up awhile back in this run. Eh, I can fix that in the Keep anyway. Rescued the lost patrol at Fallow Mire, recruited the Sky Watcher, then I started the Descent. Really enjoying that DLC again. I'll also have to goggle how to solve that bloody tower puzzle, again.

Today I spent meticulously recreating my Female Lavellan from the screenshots of her face slides. Why did I do this? Well, it turns out I messed up her save files and the back up, which in turn caused her world state to break. I didn't think that was possible, but there you go.
Instead of creating a corrupt Dwarf, I'll be spending the next 200 or so gaming hours with Lavellan, since she's my main and the first world state I'll use come Dragon Age 4.
Yay me!

After freeing the Emprise du Lion and solving the riddles of the Tomb of Fairel, I headed out to face Corypheus in the Arbor Wilds. After getting to the Well of Sorrows before him, from which Morrigan drank, it was off to a final confrontation with him. The Inquisition triumphed, of course. After finishing the main plotline, I really have to say that there really aren't that many main quests. Could have been more in my opinion. Looking forward to the Frostback Basin and the Deep Roads next, after playing my least favorite game. Finding out which mods work and which don't. And then Trespasser, which I'm really, really excited for.

I finally decided to romance a character (Sera) and got the quest to ask all companions what gift I should get her. I go to talk to Blackwall and we have a drink and he ditches me. That's okay, i'll pick him up from jail later. Then I talk to everyone else and see that this quest can't be completed without Blackwall's input. I go through Blackwall's companion quest and got him out of jail just for him to say "sorry, I don't know"
Thanks, Blackwall. That really helps, buddy.

Towers of Hanoi is like the one puzzle I know how to solve going-in, but that doesn't keep me from initially piling all the cones or whatever in the wrong stack nearly every.single.time. Ooh, I like that fur-lined armor in the second pic under the spoiler. Is that standard or a mod?

Last match got bumped into Nightmare, and I didn't embarrass myself until the last wave where I got chain ragdolled and promptly died with my Avvar.

Not looking forward to leaving Bethany at home while i go down into the deep roads. I wish i could knock Cullen out when i get back. I wish it had been a mission to find out who sold out Bethany to the Templars. Despite game mechanics, I figure she's not openly casting spells out in the streets in broad daylight, so it wouldn't be a case of Templars simply seeing her. But I'm sure she and Hawke pissed off plenty of people during their first year in Kirkwall, and I'd love to have found the bottom-feeder who turned her in so I could show them exactly what I think of them.
