Went to the Emerald Graves, did the Before the Dawn quest, Fairbanks nobility quest and killed the dragon there. Also went psychotic on the wild life there. There's only so much of that nug squeaking that one can take before losing their minds.
I have enough nug skin to make Leliana some new clothes and enough meat to make a lot of nug pies.

I don't get it. Even my mage conscripting, uncomfortable with magic rogue got all of Solas' quests. Of course, I talk to him through all his dialogue if I know I'm going to pick big decisions he dislikes, even if he dislikes my replies some. (Spirits are weird!) Haha but the points there are like 2 ad 5 not 20. I guess they matter more than I thought.

I have had the same dialogues with Solas as with Dusk Fell till we have arrived to Skyhold (except I did not smooch him, even though I could thanks to the romance unlock). He could not wait to give Dusk Fell all of his quests at once. I think the huge difference is that Sin Fell have done Templar's Quest and made Templars full partners in Inquisition. That probably cuts you off Solas' good graces even if you do everything else to his liking. But I sealed my fate by accepting Wardens into the Inquisition, another Greatly Disapproves, so he now greets me with "Inquisitor", so, yeah, he hates Sin Fell. I'll live with it, as I am spoiled to know he is some sort of a god host that wants to free the Elves through a Fade Apocalypse or some such.

Another thing is that all of the companions/advisors imo fit into the "backdrop" they made for them in the Skyhold, with the exception of Sera. I just don't see her fitting into that artistic sunlit solar. I want a whimsical cultured bard there. Like... Isabela but not unsavory? Josephine if she remained a bard? Leliana from DA:O? Actually, even current Leliana would have been more fitting there.... I don't recruit Sera any more except for the PTs in which I want to know how she interact with Solas; I barely tolerated her presence. I'm always receptive towards Solas, irregardless whether the Inq is an elf or not. Switching on the devices and helping to save his friend, listening to his tales of his discoveries / travels, etc. I tend to get slight approval in all the dialogue responses. The only time his disapproval is incurred is the templar choice of ally instead of conscript; I never do conscript. And of course, the wardens. I always retain them. I got back the lost points real quick after that, when I do Cole's personal quest; I always strengthen his spirit form and I didn't let him kill the templar. The one thing that annoys me very much is the Arbor Wilds aftermath dialogue with Solas. I really really wish they had fixed that because I'm pretty sure some other dialogue options was available. I had Solas removed the vallaslin btw. * I wished they had done something extra at the end of Trespasser. The reaction to the revelation on Solas. Especially clan Lavellan since it involved the elves in a huge way. Keeper Istimaethoriel's response / discussion / impact on the clan, on other Dalish. How would they respond to the coming crisis? Accept Solas and support him or deny his intentions?

I am going to go sulk.
It took me about an hour of climbing up and down the trellis and trying to find something in the Grand Library in the Winter Palace before I managed to get a walkthrough, and it pointed me to go down the balcony to located a stupid halla statue to unlock the door for the next quest.
After over two hours of collecting Halla's statues and other pointless junk, including a jumping puzzle right out of SWTOR only on a timer (Qunary was tall enough to reach for the darn thing but instead he had to walk the beams? Really, the 300 lbs Qunari?), I ended up actually enjoying the quest in its final stages. I was so proud of resolving everyone's differences, got a cute talk with Dorian...
Then Morrigan raped my character by force joining in. I am going to log out and drop this game. The rest of things I have to say are unladylike. I'd rather have Orlais burn than have to deal with her!
50 hours of combined game time to get frigging Gaider's frigging pet you cannot kick out this time.

Morrigan is rather tiresome and I also find it annoying that I can't refuse her joining up. However, you really can get the better of her in the end, depending on your choices. Also, being rude to her is fun.

Oh. *cringe* Guess you found out who [cameo] was. If I'd known tit would have been so negative for you, I would have just told you. Okay, well, skip talking to her in Skyhold's Garden then. You really only do the one mission with her, then there is a scene that has cameo's of the COOLEST lady of the Triology and that's really it with Morrigan. She'll walk in with the other advisors every time you go to the War Table but won't say anything. I liked Morrigan (not loved) just liked. But her and other cameo's actions have always been some of the best acting of the game. And that scene (you haven't gotten it yet) can be very different depending on whether or not the Dark Ritual was performed. Also, if you had had Alistair as the GW, he could have met up and chatted with Morrigan in the garden. It's interesting to see two people who hated each other ten years prior ..."catch up." P.S. I've never walked on the beams. Using the table, I jump to the candlebra, and just grab it and go. So much faster.

You can't even refuse Cassandra, Cullen, Josephine, Leliana, Solas (According to many Solas pretty annoying) and Varric.

More DA2 for me... Yesterday I completed Mark of the Assassin for the first time. It was very enjoyable, although it was a shame that there wasn't more of the mingling part. I really like attending parties in DA games But the companion banter might have been the best part of the DLC. In the main game, Hawke rarely responds when the companions say something, but in MotA Hawke no longer kept silent and she had some great lines with Tallis, Merrill (love interest) and Fenris. "Hawke is nice to many people. Bossy, but nice." Thanks Merrill "Ah, Hawke stepped into the poopy" Very mature, Fenris Tallis was pretty cool as well, although my Hawke took every opportunity to disagree with her about the Qunari. Having sided with Petrice, I had little patience for the Qun. Arishok is a great villain but I'm starting to feel sick whenever I hear anyhing about the Qun, let alone when I have to help a Qunari. In the main game, I'm currently in the beginning of Act 3. I killed the high dragon for the first time ever and got the Robes of the Champion, which btw is the coolest piece of apparel there is. Default Hawke with the Robes, that's really the look to die for. I'm also surprised by the amount of options the aggressive Hawke gets. I think they might in fact have the best options. The red Hawke actually gets to side with Petrice against the Qunari, which is quite relevant in the context of the plot. I didn't realise that it was impossible unless you were a red Hawke. The red Hawke also has the option of shocking Isabela when taking her to Velasco Good times. I think the motto of DA2 should be "a crazy protagonist tries to survive in a crazy city filled with crazy people". At times I feel that the whole game was made completely tongue-in-cheek style. For example, just how many times a purple Hawke says a variant of "you are crazy" when meeting a villain? I've lost count. The writers must have had fun writing all those lines. I think it's a shame that they toned down the humorous stuff in DAI, which I think is part of the reason why DAI is so bland. It didn't really occur to me how much I appreciate the humour of DA2 before they took it away in DAI. And all the companions in DA2 are "batshit crazy" or "barking mad", as Hawke would say. Except for maybe Aveline, whose presence I really appreciate when I have to deal with crazy people all the time. The interaction between Aveline and Hawke are among the best in the game. I think they stand as truly equals, and with Aveline Hawke can act all grown up and sensible, unlike with other companions. I'll probably play the first main quest now and then move on to Legacy DLC. It's really exciting to discover the DLCs for the first time.

Elven mage zapped Cory without breaking a sweat. Leliana made a remark that Inq and Solas were close; I think that observation didn't happen in the first Solas romance. Everyone was celebrrrraaaatinnnng *hic* but seriously, why are these two looking a bit glum? * On to human mage. I've a feeling this PT may hang midway once MEA launches; I'll be poking at the MP. Not sure about SP but I'll see.

I went to Val Royeaux and the Storm Coast and did in Hushed Wispers, so now I got everyone except Cole, and I've decided to go back to the classics for this last (for a while) pt, and make Solas, Cassandra and Dorian my main party. I won't be picking any locks, and I might miss something cool because of that, but I want to enjoy my favourite companions once more And rogues are useful, but taking three mages for me makes everything much easier (I barely used health potions yesterday in Redcliffe ), much more convinient (we all three can share staves) and, more than anything else, much more fun I still don't have a lot of spells, but I'm already having a great time completely abusing Winter's Ruin Btw, ice spells are always usefull and fun, but even if I have to diversify a little because of elements resistance, my ice queen is definitely Lavellan The warden would be my electricity queen, spamming SotC all around, and Hawke my fire queen In fact, I've always wanted to see that reflected in DAI's Hawke, I'd love to see her throwing fire all around her Also, normally I go wih KE and by the time I leave Redcliffe Castle I usually have the 3 wisp essence, but this time I finished it with only two :/ I've decided to take it as a sign that I should try a different specialization for once I always think that it would be nice to give Rift Mage another try, because I only picked it once and the truth is that it sounds cool for the Inquisitor. Only problem is that the idea of going to Fallow Mire just to get more wisp essence is totally off-putting, but searching for venatori tomes sounds even worse

I've never walked on the beams. Using the table, I jump to the candlebra, and just grab it and go. So much faster. She is not a cameo, she is a full-fledged forced Adviser. It's one of the reasons Obsidian games were so much more inferior to BioWARE's in the beginning. And, Inquisitor being a milk sop can't even voice displeasure. I've already dismissed the b***h, I already let her conceive a demon child hoping it kills her in one way or another. Whatever this idiot who saved the entire frigging country but can't ask for an ambassador of his choice may chose later it's not going to kill her. I am happy Alistair is a king, because seeing him fawn over Morrigan and forgive her or whatever nonsense Gaider wrote there would have been unbearable. And that's the only thing I want to happen, a complete elimination and purge of Morrigan from the game, her, her dumb outfit, her dumb face, her dumb best hair in the game, and her dumb VA. A perma-death. The only game I would play is where she can be killed. Rude to her? There are no options to be rude to her or to tell her "I still don't want you here", he can only nod and say how he will try to make it work or some such idiocy. No, no, Inquisitor has zero choice, that's not MET where you can do what you want, and kill whoever you want. Other advisers you cannot dump, but they help you out when they could have killed you, Morrigan is forced upon you by people who owe you a gigantic favor of a civil war you have stopped and their very lives. You should be able to push for one favor with whoever won the orlais spite. And, if you get Celene killed, how do they even justify Briala or Gaspard forcing her on you? What, they are a part of the fan-club too? What a piece of BS. Also, those who find Solas annoying can kill Solas. But I am not that fortunate. I have tried jumping up on the table, but the character never reaches the statue, because it turns into a close-up.

I am now a Knight Enchanter. Tomorrow, I will become a Day Enchanter. Get it? Neither did I. That's why I never became a comedian.
Went to the Filmore district to rescue the soldiers
Went and did some ballroom dancing. Its too bad the Inquisitor doesn't have the opportunity to dance with Celene. Here's an idea. Forget DA4. Remake DAI and include a scene with the Inquisitor and Celene dancing. Whatever. The best part is my Inquisitor asking Josephine for a dance
You know those fancy masks the player gets after dealing with Celene? Its too bad there isn't any schematics for them.
For now, I'm heading to Crestwood.

The weird thing is, that resolving Orlais situation in a peaceful way finally raised SOlas' approval high enough to take my Inquisitor to the Fade, and, consequently, provide him with the Faded for Her quest. I made a round of talking to companions, giving a wide berth to the dumb garden with dumb Morrigan, and her dumb mirror (from all characters in the game, it should have been Merrill, for gods sake!)
Sera is really a good character once you get past her having that weird and unpleasant way to speak.
Cole's quest was actually nice. See how good it is when you give player at least a binary choice, BioWARE? (oh, what's the point!)
The historic occasion occurred with Sin going through two conversations with Vivienne without losing a single point of Approval. she wants me to kill a wyvern.
Apparently, at some point Iron Bull fought a dragon with Sin (?) I guess, he had some sort of a dream when he was drunk. I made Sin drink with him, poor guy. Just... I don't know why. I should have dropped Bull and recruited Blackwall, i guess.
I sent duchess F to the farm, and since Solas has already given Sin his quest, it's no big deal that he disapproved. I hope she finds a new meaning in life.
I am going to do Solas Quest, because for the sake of all that is holy, I have suffered enough BS to get it. It better be the best quest EVER if I have to endure Morrigan for the rest of the game in my backyard.

It's interesting to see two people who hated each other ten years prior ..."catch up."
P.S. Haha, I like your passion against her! (And some characters.) Probably weird to you, but I really like Morrigan's romance, and her reaction when Inquisitor asked her about the Warden. Solas isn't Anders. Solas don't annoy me, I find him a bit arrogant, but I don't have a problem with him really. It's interesting, what he says about the Fade and the spirits, and I like him in my group, because I don't like Vivienne in my group... so Dorian and he remain. I switch them, or bring both of them, depend on the Inquisitor's spec.

I have tried jumping up on the table, but the character never reaches the statue, because it turns into a close-up. So, if domi were brought to Skyhold for judgement, the one punishment that would be worse than death or Tranquility would be......life imprisonment with Morrigan?! Note, I spent much of my last DAO PT trying to get my approval with Morrigan so low that she would either leave or fight my character. She did neither. I think only refusing to kill Flemeth will make her get up and leave without the Warden ordering her to leave. A quick question for those who've done the Blackwall romance. He's asked Revas to go to the Storm Coast. Is it better to do this before or after Adamant? Also, for those interested, I mentioned being taken by surprise by Cassandra's drunken hostility after arriving at Skyhold despite not doing anything different. What I forgot was that I had the "fair weather friends" trial set. It doubles the negative approval from advisors or companions for the choices you make. I must say, I kind of prefer the tougher Cassandra. She does go soft too quickly in the normal game.

But then, I like to have as much time in the romance as possible. For Cass, yeah, that was the only time I got that scene as well, with the trial turned on. It really made Cass come across as a big ol' hypocrite though, since 5 minutes before she's singing your praises in front of everyone. Then, in private, she lays into you for everything going wrong so far.

deadlydwarfHave never done it except before Adamant. I don't think it changes based on timeline. I think the best order for Blackwall romance is Winter Palace then Adamant though. Because I like to think reconnection with the Wardens and what they stand for is what pushes him over the edge to turn himself in for his past. Seems kind of random if done after Winter. Then, of, course skip the horrible story and have sexy times in the barn I rate Blackwall as my #2 romance. Cullen<-Blackwall then Cass and Solas are my only other two I've done to completion but they really aren't for me. Cass has best repeatable kiss scene of the four I've tried this far.

Went to Crestwood. Help the village by closing the rift in the lake. Met with Stroud. Lets go to the Western Approach even though we'll be approaching from the East. Everyone stopped to get their picture taken. What a bunch of showoffs Cassandra looks good wearing that mask. She even has a smirk. The woman is waiting for the plane carrying her husband and kids. It should be arriving shortly. Not sure how long it takes to fly from the Hinterlands to the Western Approach. Will be going to Adamant shortly

I like to finish Winter Palace before Adamant because I begin to hate these feckin' halla statuettes, but I like Adamant. I just want to get over the stupid Ball as quickly as possible. After that everything is easier.

my timing sucks. i was planing on finished my Reaver Warrior in time for Andromeda, but i finished 3 days ago. So i started a DD Rogue , running around the Hinterlands . also recruited Vivienne and Sarah. I'll try to do IYHSB asap. Funny, i stopped playing DAI for months if not over a year and now on my 3 rd run in about 2 months and i kind of rediscovered the game.
