what I have seen of Morrigan makes me seek a second opinion if she tells me the sky is blue and water is wet. If I know Gaider though, that story if it ever wraps up will end up with Morrigan accepting her destiny and becoming the Goddess and forgiving Flemeth everything, because she is really not truly evil, just really misunderstood, while PC weeps happy tears. Been there with Sarevok and Irenicus. I don't think she forgiving Flemeth everything, and even that she is really misunderstood. She's not evil, but even not good. Sorry, but I never have seen her as a really evil. She did things. Or rather wanted to do/accepted things. What Flemeth taught her... If you judge Morrigan, you can judge also Flemeth. Even if Morrigan have free will, you can not say, that Flemeth was a good mother. She was a good teacher/trainer. I do not believe Mortigan, based on what I have seen. And the day I get to kill Morrigan will be one of the happiest days of my gaming life. Period.

I forget this. Probably, because she didn't want to join. Flemeth wanted. I think that scene at the beginning was sincere in that Morrigan actually hadn't planned on leaving and actually loved and felt concern for her mother. Then Gaider came in with the Dark Ritual. AS soon as we get to Lothering, Morrigan's opinion of Flemeth flips. It went from, "There is food on the stove mother, don't let it burn. to "I would laugh so hard if my mum died." to Alistair. But that sentiment is then what 90% of the game has, and has further support in DA2 and DAI, so we have to go with that being canon. The conversation was a show to lul the warden into thinking it hadn't been planned.

It can be a controversial feeling about the mother. But perhaps you're right. Nevermind, probably I'm not too good in judging the lies...

CatilinaOne could head canon that Flemeth later contacted Morrigan on what she really sent Morrigan with the Warden for. Making the initial scene of Morrigan's confusion sincere yet still make most of the time with the Warden a lie.

but additionally, if we are to call Morrigan's lie so horrible, she was ordered to lie by the very Flemeth that @domi seems to adore, making her just as complicit. So Domi must not like Flemeth for her truth telling abilities either haha

I had Leliana be Divine. At the end, when she shows up, she isn't wearing her divine robe, but the same outfit worn when helping Celene. Don't know what that means.
I can see the Inquisitor returning for the next game.
When the slide mentioned Josephine heading back home, she had her hair down. Why couldn't they show her with her hair down during the game?

First time in DA2 that I'm bringing Isabella round on stuff
ANSO: keep worrying about falling into the sky.
Varric: ha! Bartrand used to be like that. Bethany: what an absurd thing to be afraid of. Isabella: dwarves are funny.
Her delivery made me laugh.

Oh neat. So, in the first act, I accidently? sorta let myself get bribed out of doing Meeran's quest. So I ended up with Athenril. Anyway, he just came up on my way to Bait and Switch to kill me for double crossing him. Long time to hold a grudge dude. But still neat. ^^ Also, I just noticed that "Abandoned House" looks exactly like our hovel with Gamlen.

Oh my goodness, Fenris is so yum. I'll get you, my pretty. And let you dump me too. Ooo. I wonder what Fenris says at the end of his recruitment quest if you are neither a mage nor bring one with you...... Huh. Is this seriously Fog at night in Hightown? That would be cool. Oh neat! Fenris doesn't say anything about mages if you bring no mages/aren't a mage yourself! There is this question, "Will you work with mages?" Should I ask it? Should I? hahahah For science. Wow. That was a mild response. "I'll watch them carefully." Not a bit of anger to his tone. 0 rivalry and 0 friendship achieved by not bringing any mages. Go figure.

Oh my goodness, I made Fenris laugh. Totally smitten. *sighs happily.* *asks him all the questions she already knows the answer to so she can hear him talk* Love his background music. Fenris: I should thank Anso for finding such capable help. Sarc Hawke: Yes. you should. Aw. Don't like the male flirt as good as the female flirt.--- And it ends all too soon. At least the mod to remove the dead bodies is working.

That fight was awesome! After finding my crew getting whipped in the first attempt; I crafted armor for my team that was heavy both in magic defense and electricity resistance. (It made me really glad I collected all the shards in the original game and got the electricity resistance belt.) For my mage inquisitors, that meant giving them the dreadfully ugly battlemage mail armor. 2. And they also showed Cassandra with pig tails. Hopefully DA4 will deal with "the hair problem."

Ah, I am too tired to play on tonight. I uninstalled all the mods and started the Trespasser, otherwise it crashed during the loading sequence. I went through all the companion cameos.
I am in a total agreement with Josephine/Teagan that inquisition outlived its purpose, because no alternative was supplied to me so far, so I am not sure why my Inquisitor hang on to his hold for 2 years? Poor Varric, firmly moved to a position of a comic relief. Dorian was away in tevinter, came back from Tevinter to tell me he is returning to Tevinter. As expected. But still, rather sad. That protracted parting is going to get it hard to keep the stiff upper lip, lol.
So, mages are now dropping out like flies? Solas is doing... something mysteriously evil. Dorian is packing. Good thing I've recruited Vivienne (spa was hilarious with a huge Qunari male, I tell ya!)

Still, it makes no sense for him to throw himself in Tevnter politics with his father freshly assassinated without a back up of an eight feet tall mage with his best interests at heart if he plans on surviving the power struggle. At least with Qunari, it makes sense that it is hard for Sin to follow, but I can't see how a human can think of staying back under the circumstances.

Or something similar bullshit. I'm glad, that my Trevelyan went for Cassandra, but was disappointed as dalish too. You see, why I prefer Anders highly (among other things): he wants to share his life, if Hawke wants too. It was rainbow and sunshine, not an "I can not take the risk of our relationship!"

Or something similar bullshit. I'm glad, that my Trevelyan went for Cassandra. You see, why I prefer Anders: he wants to share his life, if Hawke wants too. Part of the charm of the franchise is that the companions move on and become movers and shakers in Thedas. His story-line is actually very well done, and you can see that he is going to return to Tevinter eventually and assume his duties almost immediately. So, unlike Alistair, I did not expect the "lived happily ever after" ending. Heh, I will keep bringing it up all the time, but tbh the thing that bothered me the most was that an elf could not remain a mistress and a nice person with Alistair, which seemed counter-intuitive to the kind of character Alistair was. Anders was more of a pleasant surprise, tbh, I did not expect the romance outlast the game, despite of Anders' need to be attached. I don't truly feel there is a problem with the character development, in fact, it's very well done, but it's sad to start a DLC on that note of saying farewell. At least it was not just implied, and chances are, both Dorian and Fenris reappear in Tevinter setting, since the two of them are notable denizens of the Imperium and have a stake in whatever upheaval is starting in the North. It's sad, and it's hard on Sin, but it's a good story, and a good romance, beginning to end. Certainly, a different tone than Anders', but different does not mean badly done or not emotionally involving. Sadness is lovely sometimes.
