fylimar Is Inara going for Jose? that seems to be a flirt line I spy there. I'm curious about the Jose romance- she seems to ignore the flirts of a female entirely. What is absolutely the last minute flirt you can take to start the romance? I guess I'm wondering when her soft lock is. I'm not sure for whom I go honestly. Inara and Josie have a lot of chemistry, but so do Inara and Cullen. I would consider Iron Bull too, but I'm just playing that romance with Riya. It's kind of sad, that Dorian is gay, because he and Inara go along very well. And I headcanon, that she is in love with Felix at the moment, but realises, that this has no future, because of his severe illness and her lack to help him

He exhibits a wisdom that only the dying can sometimes have, if they're not bitter. But it seems he was honestly a kind individual all along, considering how fond of him Dorian is. I still have to try Jose, Sera, Dorian and Scout Harding.

The "deadly dwarf" romanced her on my first PT of any DA game! Flirt whenever you have the option; offer to help her whenever she needs help. It will add to the funny cameo with her sister at the Winter Palace!

phoray Solas= vampire: Thank you for the mental image, I now have stuck in my head. Now I see Solas either as sparkling emo vampire with a stalking urge or a hunchbacked creep in a black&white movie ... I actually prefer teh hunchback creep in that scenario, Edward Cullen is just a disgrace for honest vampires (and yes, you shouldn't take me serious this evening, I had a very good wine and realised only after drinking it, how much alcohol it contains, so I apologize for random sillyness in advance )

Another random question. At what point is number of romances available too many? I learned today that MEA has 13 and for some reason that just struck me as too many. IT's not possible that they are all equal in scenes/value considering I'd also heard that not all of them were even companions.
In DAI, the two Advisor Romances seemed to have equal but different content if you don't count just listening them talk to other people in your team.

And as Catilina points out, Solas does have a passing resemblance to Murnau's Nosferatu.

But you are right, it's hard to imagine, that the developers can do right by everyone of the 13 romances. And I thought, DAI already had a lot of romances, but it worked there. Ithink, every romance in DAI has it's fans, so maybe the devs got encouraged

Teh sex also just seems to swap out bodies rather than do anything especially unique. I didn't do a romance in ME3 because my space boyfriend died and I was in mourning, so no clue if they shook things up in 3. I love that Cullen swept his tidy desk into the floor and kissed me with unbridled passion and we woke up in his room. I especially liked the romantic picnic in the woods with post sex talk with Cassandra. Blackwall's barn scene is a bit weird considering we had to bypass the Quiz's room, but still- cool. We Kiss Solas in the Fade, we kiss Solas on the Balcony, we kiss Solas by a Waterfall. DA does romance very uniquely, the romances aren't just swapped out bodies.

(VtM: My fav clan is Brujah: idealists, philosophers, persuasive, aggressive rebels) My favorites are Malkavians and Nosferatur - the outsiders among the vampires. That would include the Nagajara, but they are ab bit too creepy (if you ever played Bloodlines: the lady in the abandoned hospital, who was eating teh filmcrew, was a Nagajara)

Malkavians is very interesting, can be hard to RP (Nagajara is creepy, I agree). Anyway, I like WoD.

If you play male Shep and romance Miranda in 2, there is no scene in the cabin but rather......elsewhere on the ship.

We played a Sabbat campaign a while ago and I played a powerhungry Tzimisce - they are fun too. I tried to play him not too crazy, more liek a politian withput a conscience (... well... a politician ) To not being totally off topic: Inara just visited horse master Denett and helped to build watch towers and getting rid of a demon, who makes the wolves crazy. She will bring Vivienne to convince Denett to join the inquisition (so far, only Viv had luck convincing him)

Well, Liam looks like a fairly normal human face-wise, with a great body and beautiful eyes. Jaal is one of the most attractive male aliens they have build, despite the color scheme. Reyes is very handsome. By definition, no racial restrictions. So, I feel that I at least have options. (Shrug) I did not mind playing a gay for two games in a row in DA (voice in DA2, romances in Inquisition), but I like it that both male and female protagonist are appealing to me in Andromeda (and were in MET as well). So, that's two play-through right there. I'm glad you're enjoying Andromeda! Just curious how you'd compare it with the original ME trilogy? Or is it too early in your first PT? phoray Thanks for your insights! I'm probably more DA than ME myself. If the trial version is still available, I may give it a shot too. I feel like I am playing a Smuggler from SWTOR in ME verse (in other words Space magic vs lightsabres) and with SWTOR way of going from planet to planet doing planetary story and the main story with a smattering of side-quests? It's goofy and flying by the sit of your pants where MET was apocalyptic and keeping your eyes on the target. It has way more distractions than MET, but it's Okay, because your job is to cobble something, anything together not to stay the hand of doom. MET feels like a well planed black ops run, even when Shepard is off the grid. Shepard is ultimately accountable to the entire Milky Way Galaxy. It weighs on him. He is on the fast track to godhood. he is what an Inquisitor might have become should they have let him to truly be the Herald. Shepard: "Gentlemen, let the professional handle it. Meaning me." Andromeda feels like a Western. Ryder is trying her best, but even if the whole thing fails, well, it's too bad, so sad. Life ultimately will go on and someone may take the torch. Ryder is Hawke who goes to the beach on the day the haunted pirates turned up. Ryder: "Oh, f**k. I guess... I am the best we've got?! Again?! Well, nothing for it, but to fix it. But, well, try to come up with a plan B, will ya?"

I just learned how you can convince Dennet yourself: with the noble knowledge perk. I picked all knwoledge perks with Inara early on, so this is the first time, I got to persuade Dennet myself - good to know

I LOVE Firefly. Andromeda is younger and sillier, and lighter on the deeper themes, hence I am thinking Smuggler, rather than Serenity. For me Andromeda is really a romp/adventure.

fylimar Please try Ten hour trial first before our make the big buy. Oh, I won't buy MEA directly, I normally wait a bit with new games until the worst bugs are patched. Plus, I have still Dishonoured 2 lying around, so I guess, by the time, I will get to play MEA, it will probably be on sale. But if there is a trial, I will try it
