fylimar Please try Ten hour trial first before our make the big buy. Oh, I won't buy MEA directly, I normally wait a bit with new games until the worst bugs are patched. Plus, I have still Dishonoured 2 lying around, so I guess, by the time, I will get to play MEA, it will probably be on sale. But if there is a trial, I will try it Domi reminded me that te trial isn't readily available. I paid $5.29 for one month t Origin Access to play the trial. But considering how I ended up not liking it, this $5 saved me from spending the $60 on the game. Additionally, I could actually try some other games via Origin Access before I turn it off in three weeks.

I don't know about the romances in MEA, since I haven't played them yet, but I like the thought of having different content for different playthroughs. But you are right, it's hard to imagine, that the developers can do right by everyone of the 13 romances. And I thought, DAI already had a lot of romances, but it worked there. Ithink, every romance in DAI has it's fans, so maybe the devs got encouraged ME seems to go by a template too. Everyone in ME1/ME2 comes to Shepard's cabin to have teh sex. Teh sex also just seems to swap out bodies rather than do anything especially unique. I didn't do a romance in ME3 because my space boyfriend died and I was in mourning, so no clue if they shook things up in 3. I love that Cullen swept his tidy desk into the floor and kissed me with unbridled passion and we woke up in his room. I especially liked the romantic picnic in the woods with post sex talk with Cassandra. Blackwall's barn scene is a bit weird considering we had to bypass the Quiz's room, but still- cool. We Kiss Solas in the Fade, we kiss Solas on the Balcony, we kiss Solas by a Waterfall. DA does romance very uniquely, the romances aren't just swapped out bodies. I randomly did one because no one appealed to me. I'll confess to being in love with asari. But the new ME team made all the MEA asari into whiptail lizards so everyone looked alike except for PB who stood out like a priest in a bevy of sexy dancers. This is the worst thing they could have done because there is a moderately interesting NPC asari char but because she looks like a crewmate, I cannot reconcile that personality with the face. This is one of many negative points of MEA. I'm just happy to go back to the MET asari where the NPCs don't look like each other and have more vibrant and interesting personalities. I borrowed Phoray's pingpong romance style and just hit anyone who's possible because I don't care for the chars, I just want to see what happened. In the end, nothing much. I didn't even know they had a roll in the hay until I read the email. How's that for sex in MEA? I read further up on this and it turned out there're only three explicit sexy scenes; all with crewmates.

I just learned how you can convince Dennet yourself: with the noble knowledge perk. I picked all knwoledge perks with Inara early on, so this is the first time, I got to persuade Dennet myself - good to know You can also use Cass or Dorian to help convince him. Dorian's is pretty funny - Dennet gets all huffy when Vint horses are mentioned.

Funnily, I am saving PeeBee for M!Ryder run, because I am unexpectedly really liking the char, and I think Asari is a travesty of a concept made to please and titillate teenage boys (though I liked Liara in ME1, but I would have liked her if she were any other race). :)

^ Actually, I'm afraid I didn't see your point about the DAI elves. They don't look alike to me. The only thing I have to complain about them is their physique.

Well, you feel they ruined Asari looks in Andromeda, I felt they completely ruined Elves looks in Inquisition. It was particulary grating for me because you could actually play an elf again....

After a brief interruption which was caused by MEA (great game btw, have to replay it asap), back to DA2. My aggressive Alyx Hawke just completed her run... Ended up siding with Templars just like my previous Rayla Hawke, simply out of political ambition. Persuaded Anders to fight against mages, it was pretty memorable how Anders just admitted that Vengeance had taken over him I just can't stress enough how great the friendship/rivalry system is. Brings completely new dimensions out of the characters. My word, the game is just so emotional, despite Legacy DLC being pretty underwhelming. And the whole Corypheus thing is so stupid, especially when it ended up being the main plot of DAI, which is just, well... I didn't even know what they were talking about the first time when Varric said that Hawke knows something about Cory. And even though Act3 is totally substandard compared to Act1 and Act2, whenever When I'm Not Calling You a Liar starts playing, it's just goosebumps and tears for me everytime. I friendshipped Carver this time around, and his dialogue before the final confrontation was really great. It felt like he finally rewarded all the effort I put in to help him. Plus the game has both Merrill and Cullen Merrill is the cutest of them all, and the rivalry romance is heartbreakingly sweet. But the character development of Cullen is really something else. Love him. Here's the two most important snapshots of this PT: Hawke and Merrill They are perfect together, hands down my favourite romance. Hawke siblings

I got nostalgic and started playing with my first character, that finished DAI, my rogue Lyana again. I had a save just after arriving in Skyhold and she did a lot of Hinterland before, so now I can decide, who to romance, what to do next and how to slay a dragon for IBs drinking scene I could do a 'deadlydwarf - run' and even romance Solas for once, since my favorite decisions didn't seem to put egghead too much off, if you ask him qeustions nicely before and invited the mages as allies - plus it would give me an excuse, to use Solas more often in the party for the IB/Solas chessgame (I use Dorian a lot with Riya and the last time, I played Lyana, I used Vivienne a lot, she has hilarious banter with most party members). I'm not that far into the game with Lia, my dwarf. I love her, but I don't like the templar decision, so I have to force that playthrough a bit on at the moment. And Lìrel is more for experimenting than a real playthrough (mods etc)- that leaves Aylin, Inara and Lyana. Inara can't go for eggy (she might end up with Josephine), Aylin has her eyes on Cullen, so that probably leaves the last possible option for females for Lynara: Solas. I will never be so cruel and romance Sera with a Dalish - that would be bad for both (and I plan to romance Sera with Lia... so I probably should stick to the templar decision) and Blackall was my romance in my first playthrough with Lyana - great romance and character btw. So Lyana will be on the road again - she already did meet Hawke. I also played a bit more with Riya in JoH ... until I got cut down by some level 26 demons from another Rift that sneakd on me. I turned the trials off and the party is well equipped. Maybe I really should level a bit more and then return to the Frostback Basin - you can do that, right? LEaving the FB and come back later? I have become very careful after Redcliffe in DAO. In my first playthrough there, I decided, that I was underequipped and wanted other companions so I left and found only dead bodies upon my return, I reloaded, but still, it was shocking for my little Miss goodyshoes Dalish, fresh away from her clan. That'S Lyana btw - with new hair, because I use another mod for the hair, she uses, but basically the same otherwise (Riya was based on her)

Just wondering, does your every character have to be bewitchingly beautiful? I envy your character creation skills. Quite honestly, I've never seen quite anything like it. It should be illegal to mass produce such beauty.

I read my second husband 4 chapters of the Calling aloud today. I'll get him hooked yet Even if my voice is tired. Told first husband to Play Awakening till I arrived home. Andme- my computer is broken. But, amusingly enough to me, have already been planning a female Hawke that will net the 5 LIs rather than just the 4 my male Hawke can get. Feel like my LI c ollection is incomplete and Sebastian has gotta be romanced sometime. Power hungry blonde maybe?

When I'm hooked to a game, it's like reading a good book over and over again: I just can't stop. So I've made a lot of characters in my DA life - if you are interested, I have put the sliders for Lyana (and Riya, who is based on her) on Nexus www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/1663/?

Wildfire I used fylimar's sliders for my current Inquisitor, Revas, though I gave her a lighter complexion. They work pretty well! Fylimar's designs are definitely in keeping with the idea in DAO that elves should be pretty (rather than bug-like)! But I wonder how well the great artiste, fylimar, would do with the CC in Mass Effect 1? That CC seems to be designed to make all PCs homely!

It's actually a very nice romance - ultimately sad - but still very nice and very serious. I'm not totally done with the Blackwall romance yet, but it's still my favorite "female PC romancing male" romance.

It's actually a very nice romance - ultimately sad - but still very nice and very serious. I'm not totally done with the Blackwall romance yet, but it's still my favorite "female PC romancing male" romance. The deadly dwarf-run it is then. I have avoided the flirting diaogues in Skyhold for now (apart from Josie, but this doesn't lock anything in, I just felt the urge to be nice to Josie, because she was so afraid of Corypheus), so I will talk with eggy in the fade and give it a go. I think my favorite female/male romance might really be Iron Bull - he has Zevrans charme and easygoing nature but is also (again like Zevran) a very down to earth and helpful-when-you-need-it guy. DId I mention, that Zevran is my favorite romance, the one, all others are judged by? Solas is charming in a Data - or Odo -kind of way. And Odo (the constable from Deep Space Nine) is one of my favorite Star Trek characters, so this is a good thing. And you know, what made me change my mind about Solas? His outbreak towards Riya after she drank from the well - I adored him to pieces at that moment Oh wow, now I'm a great artist? I can't draw a sharp line, if my life would depend on it. But I admit, I like character creators, it's nice to be able to make the character, you had in your head. And I tried quite a few things out with it (I managed to make Tywin Lannister with the cc in SWTOR - the book version with the bald head and the whiskers, not the tv version, although Charles Dance is adorable. He was of course a Sith Lord, what else could Tywin Lannister possibly be in Star Wars?) I have made a Shepard in ME1, but I have no idea how to take screenshots. Print isn't working and I found nothing in the manual about it. I actually made two female Shepards, a hispanic looking and a black one. I was so thrileld, that you finally could make black characters. DAO and DA2 were a bit lacking in that regard. So I made the darkest skin Shepard I could and liked her. Sadly, I didn't like the class (vanguard) and wanted to switch to the ME equivalent of mage/thief (don't know how it is called - the one with bionic and tech power) and made the hispanic woman, because I couldn't recreate my first Shep (Me needs a Black Emporium, I'll bet Xenon would be thrilled to call a Shepard or Ryder among his customers and traveling through time and space doesn't really seems to be a problem for that curious shop) So basically, if someone could tell me how to take screenies in ME, that would be great. I like my two Sheps btw. I think, it's possible to make decent looking characters in that cc, but BW really has problems with hair. Plus I never finished a playthrough, because it's too military for my taste. Love Garrus though, he is my favorite companion there. That Asari chick is cool too, but the racist human (Ashley?) is not my cup of tea. I never take her with me anymore, although I should put her in a group with that Krogan, hopefully he'll smash her, when she get's nasty again about aliens.

fylimarI use FRAPs, but I know DA2 had the problem where you needed to map the button to something other than print screen Also an understanding of where these pictures go. might be what folder to check because it seems to vary from game to game.

You should give the "deadly dwarf" run a try! I never take her with me anymore, although I should put her in a group with that Krogan, hopefully he'll smash her, when she get's nasty again about aliens. www.gamefaqs.com/pc/944902-mass-effect/answers/157521-how-to-i-take-a-screenshotI haven't tried this myself having just started an ME1 PT, but they mention F11 plus the location of the folder it saves to. Today, Revas finished clearing out rifts and demons in the Exalted Plains. (The only things that remain undone from the vanilla game are the Temple of Dirthamen and all the other little side missions.) She then went to the Frostback Basin to assist an archaeologist looking for the tomb of the first Inquisitor and to seal the rifts in this area. What she thought would be a respite from all the fighting against Corypheus has turned out to be an impressive challenge. She has a new enemy in the hostile Avvar tribe, the Jaws of Hakkon, whose mages are as capable as those of the Venatori and whose warriors are as fierce as the Red Templars. Their objectives are as yet unclear... Gamer Note: With Revas at Level 22, I started JOH to level her up more before moving on to Trespasser. So far, have cleared out Hakkonite camps near the river and a number of rifts. Tough, but easier than in previous PTs, likely because I would normally open up the area before the Cory finale.

His outlook on life is really refreshing and even humbling at times. I understand why you'd want to be nice to Josie. She's nice and so sweetly appropriate. Still, her romance arc felt a bit too short, which was a shame. Cullen had so many more scenes with the Inq. (Still kinda shipping Hawke and Cullen, but anyway... They should've definitely had a scene together in DAI. Good PTSD treatment ) I don't like DAI combat at all, but maybe I should give it one more go in the near future. I want to see my Alyx Hawke at least. Is there any way to get DAI hair mods for PS4, btw?

I'm mostly ok with the DAI combat, but I have some troubles, when playing a melee, dual-wielding rogue or knight enchanter mostly, since I don't play warriors. There are occasions, when I miss every single target, not very heroic

I startetd the romance with Solas and choked on my tea during the 'fade tongue' conversation - very nice Am I the only person who thinks that it's super creepy that you go talk with someone and then they say "let's go somewhere else" and then you realise that you are in the fade and afterwards you wake up in your own bed? I wonder what Solas actually did to the Inq

I wonder what Solas actually did to the Inq My understanding is that the moment you headed to talk to Solas was the beginning of a dream- you didn't remember going to sleep, is the problem. Then you are both Fade Dreaming, except you didn't know, but he did. Then he says, Well, if we're going to talk (while FAde Dreaming together) then lets go somewhere more interesting. You don't remember going to sleep. At what point can you head canon that you went to sleep? I wish they had made the Fade Dream sequence happen no matter what to all Inquistiors the first time they enter their room in Skyhold, rather than th efirst time you talk to Solas with enough approval. Then the jump could just be that you character went to bed and you didn't see it. Also, Solas is having a super boring Fade Experience if standing in his rotunda is what he does even when he Fade Walks.
