Took the team and saved the circle and got the support of the mages. Also snagged a book from the first enchanters office for Morrigan. First time doing this with the skip the fade mod, very nice. Planning on heading to Denerim next to get supplies and check up on an old friend.

I don't know. Normally I don't let board flame wars get to me, I don't answer in threads when I see that people are fighting or stop posting, if I get involved. I know, that domi was very passionate (or is) about her viewpoints, but usually she didn't seem to mind too much. And she is around long enough to know that with new, hyped things (games, tv shows, books) there are bound to be tons of trolls around, who will vanish, when the next cool thing comes out (I'm active in a really nice Walking Dead board, but every season start, you have to ignore some trolls - it got a bit worse now that IMDB boards are closed, those were the worst boards, I have ever encountered).  But I never saw Kipper getting into any fights. It's always sad, when people, you liked discussing with, left. Maybe it is an error in Kippers case or a problem with the account and he/she will be back.

It's kinda strange when in a single day you:
- "saved a Queen" from one her father's right hand (and killed him while letting everyone in his jail espcape)
- got to escape from Denerim biggest prison by making everyone think you are a guard (they most be blind, I got pointy ears...).
- got attacked for stealing stuff from people since the first time you got to Denerim
- stopped a slaver ring from kidnapping more elves in the Alienage and killed some demons and abominations in an (ex-)orphanage.

Also, it's weird to hear Ser Cauthrien talk these days (Alix got such a specific voice tone).

Poor Alistair, that was a sad moment (he did the great sacrifice and left me behind *sniff*). Morrigan run off when I told her "no" to her secret "I can save you" magic, I never really trusted her. Anora now sit on the throne too and her dad is one head shorter.

Poor dog was eaten by a dragon again too. And despite being totally awesome made of rock, Shale decided to find a way to become dwarven again. Oh well.

Well let's see today Inquisitor Cadash closed the remaining rifts in the Hinterlands, killed the high dragon in the Hinterlands, went to Crestwood met with Hawke and Warden Loghain, kicked the bandits out of the fort near Crestwood and claimed it for the Inquisition, drained the lake, went into some nearby dwarven ruins and closed the rift there solving Crestwood's undead problem, hunted a wyvern, killed some red Templars, killed more bandits, killed another high dragon, and became a reaver. I forgot how addictive DAI can be sometimes. Probably played it for a good six or seven hours straight today.

We should turn this into a game. Who of the following three would you protect, leave behind in the Fade and fuck?

Why do you think there would be golems walking around in DAI? *ransack memory* As far as I know;

Golems were created hundreds of years ago. Some of them were made with willing participants, the others were unwilling victims and control rods were created for them. My guess is that the ones who were volunteers were mostly destroyed defending the dwarven cities. When the cities were overrun, Caridin took the remaining golems and vanished, removing all knowledge of the making of golems from the dwarves. The dwarves tried but they couldn't approach the darkspawn infested cities. Presumably, he powered down the golems and when he died, if there were any golems remaining, no one activated them or found the control rods to issue different orders than to guard certain areas. I think the personality and memories of surviving golems would atrophy after prolonged inactivity; they would only remember the orders they were given.

Shale was unusual. I'm thinking the mage, her former master, had something to do with her retaining her personality and some memory due to his study of / experiments on her.  Additionally, the aggravation of her surroundings gave her something to keep herself mentally active. 

Yeah Meredith, Arishok, envy demon,  Vidasalla... they were cool and it's sad to know we won't see them again

Hazel Trevelyan, DW Rogue:

Finished off a bunch of stuff in Crestwood with Blackwall, Solas, and Sera. With Old Crestwood accessible, we checked out the town. We ran into a spirit that was miffed about a rage demon that had snubbed it, and refused to return to the Fade until someone taught it a lesson. We were heading to the caves anyway, so we agreed.

We searched the caves thoroughly, grabbing all the loot we could find, checking out the dwarven ruins, and dealing with any demons and corpses we came across, including the rage demon the spirit had mentioned. We closed the rift, then returned to new Crestwood to inform the mayor, but found out he'd skipped town as he was the one who had flooded the old town in the first place.

Spent some time exploring other parts of the area, set up a new camp, closed another rift, found Judith and killed the Wyvern she warned about, and dealth with some bandits and Red Templars. One of Leliana's scouts, Butcher, had been killed thanks to a traitor in the ranks, so we informed Charter, Leliana's rep at Caer Bronach, of the location of the body and what had happened.

I'll likely head to the Fallow Mire next, but I might try and take on the Crestwood dragon first. I'm level 12, so I assume that's strong enough (especially since I'm on Normal difficulty).
