Sadly, I've only obtained the base game and I'm still waiting for DLC to go on big sale. I haven't played Legacy yet, which is integral or any other ones. It's hard for me to relate to Sebastian when others talk about him since he's not in the game without Legacy. Sebastian is in different DLC - The Exiled Prince, not Legacy.

fylimar and Catilina Sad to say since I don't favour slaughtering right and left in general, I found diplomatic Hawke boring. What she says is bland and generic along the lines of 'oh it will be ok' after blood mages tear down your house. Sarcastic all in all is best, but I also found that I liked aggressive Hawke, especially since intimidate options work with this type only and you get Arishok respect with angry answers. Sadly, I've only obtained the base game and I'm still waiting for DLC to go on big sale. I haven't played Legacy yet, which is integral or any other ones. It's hard for me to relate to Sebastian when others talk about him since he's not in the game without Legacy. I started with just DAI in August. Got addicted ever since. I'm still learning the lore by reading a couple of books and learning from others about DAO and DA2. This is all great. Pictures with summaries helps
Sly You absolutely have to try DAO! Warden is a kickass protagonist! As strange as it seems, although it's the first one in the sequence and older than Inquisition, a lot of people prefer it. Dragon Age Ultimate Edition (it includes every single DLC plus Awakening which is like another full game) is somewhere around ten bucks. I'm sure there will be big discounts around Christmas too.
Also, Warden has Mabari Hound! That dog is aweeesomeee! Tbh, I don't find Sebastian worth bying his DLC. I buyed the ultimate edition with all DLCs, otherwise, I would have left out chantry boy. But MotA and Legacy are absolutely worth every cent

Imo Sebastian is aquired taste. He's not among my fav companions, but I find his interactions with other characters interesting, plus his drama queen performance at the very end is way too funny. I'd miss him if I didn't have him. And agreed about the other two. Legacy bring A LOT into family relationship and MotA has some of the best banters in game

Absolutely! But hey, red!Hawke has his/her moments too. I'm in love with my red!Hawke (too). Let's just settle with: Hawke is the best Unpopular opinion: Hawke is my least favorite protagonist in all the BioWare games I have played. Though of the Hawkes, Diplomatic is best while I can’t stand Sarcastic or Aggressive.

adonniel I played once as blue Hawke, this is my tragic one, with compliance constraint. He wanted to help everyone, without question, looking for balance, even where it didn't exist and wanted peace at any cost. He finally lost the game. Killed his friend for his brother. I think, his good relationship with Carver spoiled forever. Perhaps, I should replay blue Hawke from a different approach... I planned it, but I don't know. I love the purple/red and red/purple one. Sebastian is an ass (well, a good ass), but interesting, and has some really good banters. I think, worth it (The Exiled Prince – with a quest line).

The Mass Effect Trilogy did something similar with Paragon and Renegade. No, Hawke's not Shepard, not even similar. It's not a moral code, it's personality. Red Hawke can be the most honest and have the strongest morality.

I was referring to Bioware using a color to show what something was on the Dialogue Wheel. They did that both with Shepard's Charm/Intimidate options as well as Hawke's personality options.

In the Lothering Chantry Ser Bryant told the wardens that he heard that there was some kind of problem in the Tower of Magi. Worried about her fellow mages and old friends Sara decided to go there first, after all she also needed the mages help to defeat the Blight. They arrived at Lake Calenhad Docks and despite Greagoir had given orders to not let anyone enter the tower, Sten managed to convince the Templar Carroll, who was guarding the ferry boat, to take them into the tower with a cookie bribe . Knight-Commander Greagoir, who was not very pleased to see Sara, explained her that the Circle was overrun by demons and abominations and despite not knowing exactly what has happened, he sent word to the Chantry of Denerim requesting reinforcements and the Rite of Annulment. Sara agreed to enter the barricate in order to rescue any mage or templar survivors. First they found Wynne, together with some mages and aprentices, who was fighting a rage demon. The tower was overrun by undead, demons, abominations, blood mages and charmed templars but the group managed to fight their way into the fourth floor. There they were embushed by a Sloth demon that puts them to sleep sending them into the Fade. Sara managed to break free of her nightmare and met Niall in the Fade. He explained her that he was present during a meeting to discuss a possible alliance with Loghain and that Uldred, a senior mage and a Libertarian, used blood magic to summon a Pride demon but ended up possessed by it. He also told her that the only way to escape the Fade was by defeating the Sloth demon. In order to reach the demon Sara had to navigate his maze realm, defeat his minions and rescue her companions from their respective nightmares. After defeating the demon Nyall told the wardens that he could not return from the Fade and asked them to retrieve the Litany of Adralla, a scrolll that disrupts mind controlling spells, from his body. Near the Harrowing chamber the group found Cullen trapped in a magical prison. The blood mages and the demons had tortured him and his fellow templars and he was the last survivor. He thought that Sara was another illusion created by the demons to torment him but once he realized she was real he asked her to kill all the mages in the Harrowing chamber since he believed that by that time they were all corrupted by the demons. Sara refused his request because she didn`t want to risk killing an innocent mage and she wanted to save as many mages as she could. In the Harrowing chamber they finally found Uldred who was turning the mages into abominations. With the help of the Litany of Adralla they managed to defeat Uldred and save the First-Enchanter Irving and the mages. They escorted Irving back to the first floor and Greagoir declared the Circle safe again. Irving promised the mages support against the Blight and Wynne joined the wardens.

Haha, both... it's just my interpretation. Kirkwall's a madness, and Hawke's the hero whom Kirkwall deserves... and perhaps the hero, who deserves Kirkwall... DA2: Embrace the madness.

Beat up a bunch of blood mages today who kidnapped my sister then asked Cullen not to execute all of them. Cullen: You think that's enough to spare all the blood mages and their willing dupes.

Did you spare or kill the female blood mage in the second floor? I let her live. My reasoning was that my warden had experimence both the life in the circle and the life outside the circle, she knew what freedom was like and how bad it was to be constantly watched. Although she not agreed with using blood magic, summoning demons and killing innocents, she could understand how powerless and desperate for some kind of freedom her fellow mages must had felt. And she spared her with no guarantee she could manage to escape the tower with the doors in the first floor barricaded and guarded by Templars. If she was smart enough to outplay the templars then maybe she deserved to live.

After saving the Circle Sara decided to rest a bit and get to know more about her new companions. Sten talked about his mission on Ferelden and how he lost his sword during a Darkspawn attack where all his comrades were defeated and he was left unconscious. For the Qunari warriors their sword is their soul so without it he can`t return to Par Vollen. Sara promised to look for his sword. Later on Sten expressed disbelief over Sara being a woman . Leliana amuses Sara with some funny stories of Orlesians hairstyles. Sara gave Morrigan the grimoire that she had found in the circle tower. After studying it Morrigan discovered how Flemeth prolongued her life and disturbed by what she found, and in an attempt to escape her fate, she asked Sara`s help to kill Flemeth and get Flemeth`s real grimoire. Wynne collapsed after a battle and then confessed that she`s only alive thanks to a spirit that possessed her during the first battle in the circle. She`s living on borrowed time and wants to use that time helping the Grey Wardens. She also can call upon her spirit for help. While traveling they were embushed by a Crow assassin and some thugs. Zevran was defeated and after interrogation he asked to join the group, promising to help the wardens in exchange for his life. Sara agreed to his request.
