What's your elf's coloring? Deepstalker hide is low level but is a decent color, so caves in Storm Coast? Pretty much anything in Hinterlands is going to be brown, I think. You could also buy stuff at BE if you have enough gold.
I liked green on my male elf, but it took forever to find anything good. The best for him was veil quartz that made its debut in JoH.
Edit: also dragonling hide, which is red.

There are dangonlings near the dragon in the Hinterlands, right? And I remember deep stalker as being pale mud brown, does their hide actually turn a different color as a crafter armor?

Wooo. Today Sabrae and Sera returned to Haven riding on a dragon skull! Which Blackwall carried. And Dorian was there to, a bit behind, looking through his notes for an affordable ferry back to Tevinter. Actually fought her toe to toe this time. Well on the second attempt, tried cheap tactics first but felt guilty. But it was fairer that usual. But upgraded roll, regeneration potions and beeeeeeeees are a bit unfair. Maybe one day... Oh and there was some bear hunting, bog fisher killing and paragon luster mining as well. But the dragon was the highlight. Sadly, this means Sabrae will have to go deal with that giant, demon spewing rift...or make another attempt at fighting the spiders in the Oasis. And fail miserably once more. Why couldn't they be miniature dragons instead? Or nugs. Nugs are good. And tasty. Also there are baby dragons at the Storm Coast. So you can multitask on leather farming, since deepstalkers make their homes there as well and their leather is very bright blue with a slightly greenish tint. It also has serpentstone. There is blue vitriol and summer stone in the Fallow Mire, metal wise and undead carry ring velvet, which is dark blue/green. Outlaws carry lustrous cotton at times

Or nugs. Nugs are good. And tasty. Really? I was told they were just "alright", better than nothin' Ser Thrask asked us to try and convince a group of apostate mages to hand themselves in before his fellow templars arrived with a different solution. Inside we had to cut our way through blood mages and the rotting corpses of numerous undead. Following which, Isabela asked if I thought she needed a bath. Ah, you have to ask? Bethany killed a group of fellow mages with a firestorm, and thought it was almost fun. I'm starting to think Merrill is the only sensible one in the group. We find their ringleader, and he starts raising the dead to attack us. i.imgur.com/hsZLb4U.jpgWhen the fighting was over, Grace, who hadn't taken part asked for our help in escaping. i.imgur.com/PZX4sVC.jpgI told her I'd spin the templars some bullshit, and this went down well with my companions. i.imgur.com/D7j2N9t.jpgOnce outside, I convinced Ser Karris the creep that I was his best friend, and sent him on a goose chase. i.imgur.com/9A5V5iA.jpgI sent the "dead" Grace off in the other direction and earned her eternal gratitude, and a staff. Isabela approved, and I got to add to her already impressive attributes. i.imgur.com/V1rBNxq.jpgWE called in on the Dalish, to see if they knew where I could find some ironbark. Apparently, frolicking with the Elves isn't everything Feynriel thought it would be. i.imgur.com/97Jle4y.jpgI went to see if Anders was ready for the big expedition. His inner demon can't take a joke. i.imgur.com/jht9lEH.jpg Mum didn't want me to take Bethany into the Deep Roads, but I assured her she'll be fine. i.imgur.com/xOFeVk6.jpgSo it was the fabulous Hawke sisters, slaying darkspawn in the Deep Roads i.imgur.com/b89OnTJ.jpgWe found Bodahn's lost boy, though it appears the darkspawn have more to fear from him, than the other way around. i.imgur.com/PtymwxP.jpgIt wasn't what Bartrand was expecting. i.imgur.com/lcyq8kv.jpgBodahn said he would repay me for finding his boy, but he didn't put an actual figure on it. i.imgur.com/t6wTpyT.jpgWe come across an old idol, made of solid lyrium. Anders didn't like it. i.imgur.com/QKXIExZ.jpgBut Bartrand certainly did, the bastard made off with it, and sealed our way out i.imgur.com/2hKo91C.jpgWe looked for another way out, through demons and rock wraiths i.imgur.com/hCuA0Fg.jpgWe found more treasure than we could carry i.imgur.com/8xwu1LX.jpgBut Bethany wasn't feeling the best. i.imgur.com/ehXgXs8.jpgAnders said her only chance was to go through the Grey Warden joining ritual. He said he knew where to find the wardens, and convinced them to take her in. i.imgur.com/lABfXXn.jpgWe made it back to the surface without further incident, but I made it clear to Varric, that Bartrand was not on my First Day card list. i.imgur.com/uKb4EcE.jpgI had to break the news to mother i.imgur.com/9P6Sh8R.jpg

Another slow day for Bruenor. Found Tavin and his party, as well as the Inquisition soldiers sent to meet up with them, all killed by unknown assailants. Inside Din'an Hanin, they found the culprits - Venatori with a side of Red Templar. Killed all the bad guys, lit some runes, found all the pieces of a seal that opened the lowest level of the fortress. The powerful artifact Cory's troops had been looking for, and killed the Dalish for, was simply a letter. An important and informative letter but still....not worth dying for. Bruenor took the letter back to Tavin's Keeper, Hawen, still camped out in the Exalted Plains. He also dropped off some great bear hide while he was there, then headed back to Skyhold.
**** So, that's it for the day. I need to run around to talk to everyone again for post-WEWH developments and I just don't feel like it. Bleh.

While wandering aimlessly through Crestwood today, I came upon the back gate to Caer Bronach and it occurred to me that it would have been cool to be able to sneak into the keep and take it that way, rather than storm the front gate. Then, after exploring the formerly-flooded caves, I found several Deep Roads areas that I hadn't seen on my previous two playthroughs. I think I must have always backtracked after closing that rift, or fast traveled back to town, maybe. It's impressive how fast old Crestwood dried out after spending a decade under water Edit to complain about the Bull romance so far, and it's lack of...anything. I felt some emotion by this point from Dorian and Cullen. Some flirting, some mutual interest, some chemistry. I get nothing from Bull. I do hope it gets better soon.

I decided to take a break from swtor and went fiddling around with other games. Finished Titanfall 2 SP campaign and it's every bit as good as they say though the platforming would drive most insane. Jumped into BG2 EE. Nope, not in the mood for it. Wished I could play The Last Guardian but I don't play console games so that's out. So I decided to ping pong DAI a bit. Also went to look at the mods and downloaded a few, one of them the cinematic mod. I don't know what happened but my eyes went OO when I saw the graphics. I don't remember the game looking so crisp and sharp. Is it my graphic card 1070 or the mod or is it both? It looked sumptuous! I know I did not complete the previous PT. I didn't because I felt that Trespasser sort of hangs over a cliff, the story is not actually complete and is a downer for me really. Not sure if I will do Trespasser for this one. Maybe.

I didn't play too much tonight. I took a nap earlier because anything below zero (F) makes me want to hibernate. I did do a few things though: --Talked to Rat, the squire for Sutherland. I need to go send someone from the WT to track them down. Once I do I'll head out to the Storm Coast and save them. That'll wrap up the quest chain. --Got my endgame armor dyed. It's a battlecoat. White dragon leather, silk brocade cloth and dragon bone for the bits. It looks sharp. --Bull actually looks pretty dangerous. I had already tinted the metal of his armor using Bloodstone. When I made his axe (called "Pride of the Chargers,") I ended up using Fade-Touched Bloodstone. His leather color is bear leather. I've hit level 19. I can't wait to see what he's going to look like at max level at this rate. --Managed to get some good gear crafted for Varric. Freaking finally. I gave him +3 Guard on hit. I call it "Hawke's Gift." Cole got Varric's old coat. Considering it's called "Varric's Warm Coat," I thought it was fitting to pass that to Cole. Varric does see Cole as a little brother. I could see him doing that for the kid. --I've got a set of endgame armor I need to make for Dorian before too much longer. I'll probably go with +3 Guard for his gear as well. Once I get his done my armor should be fine for the DLCs. I've got my shield left to make but I need dragon parts. I'm debating about putting chain lightning per hit on it or waiting for a fade-touched that gives Walking Fortress on hit. I might go with the former since it will help if my War Cry is on cool down and I've already got my hands full. Dunno yet. --All of my endgame gear is going to have frost resist built into it. I've found that is the most useful resistance stat for the rest of the game, including the DLCs. Lightning is a close second but it's easier for everyone to have frost resist in the armor. I build the pieces for other resistances and defense as I need to. --Did the initial conversaton with Morrigan and Kieran. Such an odd child but not too weird all things considered. Too bad we'll probably never see him again. I still feel that the DR either should have been mandatory or otherwise not involving a child. It was such a potentially interesting plot. As it is it adds a lot of flavor and character depth to Morrigan in DA:I. So that's something. --Started Emprise du Lion. I'm glad that I know the area much better than I did last time. I was running in circles a lot on my elf. This time I knew right where to go. I also finished the Memories of the Grey quest for Blackwall. "It feels good to help the Wardens. Despite everything." I think Thom needs a hug. --I unlocked the Operation to repair the bridge in the zone. When I got back to Skyhold, I realized there was a few quests on the WT that I wanted to knock out. I'd like to get Sutherland done among others. I looked and everyone was on 6+ hour long WT missions. I decided I'd rather save/exit from my character for now. --I did roll up an elven mage for giggles and got her to Haven. Will I play her much? I don't know. I get addicted to making new characters. Also, I like having ones rolled up and ready to go in case I get a hankering for a new toon and the internet is down. --Edit: Non spoiler tip #1. The final boss of Descent hates lightning. Also, spikes will shoot up from the floor doing a shitload of damage. When the Inquisitor yells for you to move, start moving. The boss also has large arms that will smack around anyone in range to boot. The best advice I have is to bring nothing but ranged characters for dps. Three mages is best but two with Varric or Sera also works well. Make sure your mages are respecced to Spirit and Lightning. You can use lightning runes if you want but I prefer to keep corruption or demon-slaying runes. --Non spoiler tip #2! If you're getting ready to do Trespasser, make sure you have plenty of lightning resist. Especially for the final parts of the DLC. It will help a lot for the fights, particularly the final boss. The game will make it pretty clear when it's going to be the last time you leave the home base in the DLC. Make arms/legs/helms. Ring velvet is a good one to use since it's cheap in the BE and a rather common drop. Save any good quality lightning resist belts and Cowl of the Overseer; upgrade tonics if you use them. Also before you start the DLC, you can save up for the elemental resist belt from the Black Emporium. Every little bit is going to help.

The Amell crest over the door rang hollow without Bethany but mum was happy to have her childhood home back. She is trying to put the losses of the past behind her, and pick me out a good husband. Yeah, good luck with that mum. i.imgur.com/rmoyQqu.jpgAveline was at work, Merrill was off doing Elfy things and Varric said he had to pick up something from Jorman's Apothecary, so It was just Isabela and I to track down Javaris Tintop and the stolen formula. But we seemed to have stumbled into a carta Dwarf nest. They're only little, but they pack quite a wallop. i.imgur.com/vY6TKPP.jpgi.imgur.com/qju4JcG.jpgi.imgur.com/d2hBdQ8.jpgThe plot thickens, Javaris was set up by a mysterious Elf. i.imgur.com/ZDz7KYp.jpgI gave Isabela the ship in a bottle I found in the carta tunnels, and well, lets just say she's far too predictable and leave it at that. i.imgur.com/dTma1fy.jpgBefore going after the Elf, I went to see if Merrill was back. She was pissed that the Keeper had come to use the ancient magics for a halfbreed, but wouldn't help her. The Keeper sent me into the fade after Feynriel, Merrill succumb to a pride demon. i.imgur.com/2gNh7xf.jpgAnd Isabela, well she likes big boats... i.imgur.com/jWVosoj.jpgBlighted demon knew it too. i.imgur.com/92WaKlC.jpgI never did work out who was behind the crazy Elf i.imgur.com/s5btxtw.jpgAnd the Arishok didn't care. i.imgur.com/seUlYkI.jpgWe checked out Emeric's lead on Gascard DuPuis. He was definitely an apostate blood mage, and when I said I didn't believe his story... i.imgur.com/XhnnjbN.jpgHe summoned demons. i.imgur.com/oIeXhZK.jpgI did Aveline a favour i.imgur.com/ljex0U1.jpgAnd I was doing a favour for Anders, until he lost control and nearly killed a child. i.imgur.com/HgZXZe9.jpgI manage to talk him down. i.imgur.com/luDEInp.jpg

I always wondered about the crazy elf as well! In the vanilla game, she looks ugly with heavy wrinkles -- more than any other character in the game. I couldn't help but think there was a reason for that, but it was never revealed.

I finished the game with Reinhardt Hawke. (Act 3, part 2.) Prequel: 45, 49, 57(The Legacy miss yet, perhaps later...)
Knight-Captain Cullen sent a message that he want to talk to me. Let's see, why. So: he says, someone accused Aveline to cuddling he guards. I must to warn her. As I got there, Aveline argued with a Templar, and looked very angry. But that was nothing compared to when I told her, what Cullen said me. We supposed, they accused her probably because of Donnic, then we went to check exactly what doing Donnic. As we have guessed: Donnic waded knee-deep in the bandits. There are no "cuddling". We went back to Cullen, who said that the complaints came from the Lowtown, where we informed, that the complains came from the ex-Guard-Captain: Jeven. We solved this problem, Aveline's name cleared. By the way, I feel, the guards are with me. At home Meredith's letter was lying on the table. She also need my help. Of course, what else... She asked me to look for some apostates. When I refused her, she gently reminded me, that my sister in the Circle. If you dare hurt Bethany, you'll... I just wanted to tell: that your sister is a good Mage, she said. Obviously ... nice parry, Knight Commander! ... So, you gave me a rope... well, just tell, what do you want! We must to find three apostates. Executioner's work. Let's see, what we can do! The first, Huon an elf from the Alienage, crazed. He sacrificed his wife, became abomination, and tried to destroy us. Just tried. When we looking for the second one, a woman, called Evelina, in the Darktown we found two Ferelden refugee orphans. She saved them and a few more children, and he took care of them. When they arrived in Kirkwall, Evelina came into Circle, and asked for help, to be able to continue to take care of the kids. Instead help, they wanted to lock her. Poor fool, I wondering what she hoped? The persecution made she mad, the desperation turned her to the Blood Magic. Finally we killed her. I gave money to the oldest boy, to be able to care of the others. Then we went to the Hightown to visit, Emile du Launcet's parents. His father said, that probably we could find Emile in The Hanged Man... But they are sure, that Emile not Blood Mage just a terrified kid. Okay, but they are his parents, what they can say? They not lied: this dangerous Blood Mage a miserable boy, who had never been outside of the Circle, since his childhood. He just wanted some happy moment. He must to leave Kirkwall, immediately. I decided to give him some time for escape, before I going back to Meredith. On the way back we met the allied nobles. One of them betrayed and ambushed us with Templars. That's tiresome... all Templars are suicidal? That was enough for today. Returning home I received bad news. Bodahn and Sandal will leave us, they wants to go to Orlais. Oh shit ... I think I a little envy. After a few days I went back to Meredith, to report her Blood Mages. She already heard about Evelina and Huon, however, he asked about Emile. I told her, I had let him go. Perhaps I need to be more careful, but I could not resist... but Anders either. He vehemently accused Meredith, and spoke about that for Evelina's and Huon's fate is the Circle's responsible. How I love when he so passionate! Meredith had threatened him. Now I'm sure, I'll kill her... only a matter of time. A few days later, Orsino's letter was waiting for me at home. He asked me to help investigate a strange case without the involvement of the Templars. The trails led to a warehouse. The conspirators attacked us. Among them were Keran, the templarling, who we saved from a bunch of crazy blood mages a few years ago. He refused to attack us and at the end of the battle he said that some Templars and Mages allied against Meredith. They kidnapped Bethany. What? Why? We must to go there immediately! We found them on The Wounded Coast, as Keran told. Thrask don't wanted to kill Bethany, but a mage, Grace, who we saved before, killed Thrask, and turned against us. (By the way, I told already, that I must to careful with the save of the people?) Cullen arrived with Samson, that miserable lyrium addict ex-Templar, who "helped" Feynriel... He looks a bit better now. On the way we met him, he want Meredith's fall, but can't turn against her, because he considers mages too dangerous. Meredith the main danger in Kirkwall, not the mages... nevermind. Bethany „safe”, let's go back to Orsino! Finally we are at home. And now we can talk about, how much you want to pay, if I slit my wrists and dance naked under the moonlight just for you, love... On the next day at the Gallows a Templar, called Ser Karras, told us, that Meredith has sent to Val Royeaux for the Right of Annulment. No! Bethany! And I can not do anything, just hope. I feel like I'm not very good at it. Helpless anger flooded me. In the morning a messenger brought a letter from Orsino. Meredith has gone too far. I picked up the others, luckily I found everyone, and we hurried to stop Meredith's madness. I was hoping that it is not too late. Meredith arguing with Orsino, and there was also Bethany. Bethany was glad we came. Orsino wanted to go for Elthina, to protect them. Foolish hope... Anders unexpectedly stepped forward. He began to speak. For a minute Justice flare up, blood froze in my veins, but Anders continued. He was firm and determined. „The Circle has failed, the time has come to act...” What did you done?" I asked. He bowed his head, and said, „that can be no turning back”. In that moment, with a huge rumble exploded the Chantry building. „There can be no peace!”, he told. What I felt? Strange but it's hard to recall. I surprised? I think, yes. Despite that Anders said something about that easy to support a cause as long as no victim. So: I can say, I expected something similar, but I was not prepared for it. Not even he. He slumped on a crate, and and waited for the judgment. He was sure about that he will going to die. Sebastian (and many others) want me to kill him. No! He was right: there can be no peace. Go to the Gallows to finishing this! I was not sure about it, but everyone followed us, except Sebastian. He went to Starkhaven to collect his army against Kirkwall. But it can wait. The Templars were outnumbered. I worried about Bethany, but she seems strong and enthusiastic. „A new age begin today”, she say. She never was so confident before. Orsino worries me more, he seems uncertain. Everyone wanted to say something before the battle. I admit, it felt good. The battle started. The Templars rushed us, only a few Mage survived. Orsino lost his mind, slit his wrists and by use the corpses he became some-kind fucking big abomination. I never seen similar thing. Oh shit! After we killed that thing, we went for Meredith. We must to face with her. I try not to think about the overwhelming odds. I did not plan to die today. Meredith and Cullen waited for us. Meredith want to kill me. I think she has long been waiting for this moment. Cullen don't agree with her, and confront her. She flail with her sword, shouting, that the knight-captain infected by blood magic. Finally she became totally crazy. Her sword made from the red lyrium, what we were discovered years ago in the the Deep Roads. Smart Templar! Have strong willpower. Oh yes, every abomination thought this, before died. C'mon, Knight Commander, let's share their fate! Cullen joined us, the others moved aside. It was crazy fight. When finished, I looked around and thought about, what will happen to us. Templars everywhere. What they will doing with my sister? Anders? Nothing. Cullen ordered them to back. The road was opened toward the harbor. Bye Kirkwall, bye my home! I will never return. „Then we will be fugitive together!” It was my decision and did not regret it.

Obsidian Gryphon Your Inquisitor looks like Krem! So lovely I was actually a little productive today! I got a little further on my lady Rogue play through that I started a little bit ago. This is my first attempt at a *hard* setting so I'm pretty excited about that, I've never played a game on anything other than normal. I can already see a difference in play, the first thing I did was spend an hour crafting some good gear to get a boost She's also my devout Andrastian that I never made in my previous 10 tries. I haven't gotten too far, I just mostly finished up the Hinterlands, grabbed Sera and Blackwall, threw the heart- eyes at Cullen, and strutted around the Fallow Mire for a minute. But I'm loving it so far, it's been too long since an Inqy went for a little Cullen love anyway.

Natashina I like that we can name equipment, that is some cute RP you got there.
TODAY,I actually played the game. This male elf is still in the spirit of Ameridan, but since I re rolled for a handsomer elf, I've decided to steer clear of some of the top right replies. I guess you could call them Diplomatic, but they are usually just blander than sugar free vanilla ice cream as far as I can tell. I hated his clothes and he ended up more pale than I intended, so I rectified both of those things. Went to the Hinterlands, and marked the Watch Towers. But left the Wolves for when I have Cole. I love Cole. I want to hear him talk about everything. Left the horse race for Iron Bull too, as that's easy approval points. After I picked up what I thought was enough material, I headed back to Haven and petted the Golden Nug. It was like a magical mind meld, and filled me with information about Inquisitors of alternate universes! ... Or something. But since I have no silverite, I was left with only the mage stuff. Which looked terrible on a male elf, so I went with the Formal Wear for lack of current better options. Since his history has him going outdoors often, he needed more of a tan. Off to the Emporium. One shade difference really improved him for me, I actually find him attractive now. There he is, flirting with Cassandra, that rascal. (I've turned off subtitles. I don't much like them in my screen shots and I can understand everyone at this point.) Then I enjoyed the argument between Roderick and Cullen. I always put myself just so between them so I can watch my character's head whip back and forth. I'm thinking about getting to level 7, then turning on the trial that slows levels on top of Even Ground. I wouldn't have wanted to drag to level 4, because a lot of loot even in the Hinterlands requires at least that. Also, having the game on Hard puts so many mages and templars in the Hinterlands! It actually feels like a war! I approve.

Exploring the Hissing Wastes. There is a whole lot of... nothing. This goes through my head everytime I'm out there and grabbing camps: Speaking of horses. The Hissing Wastes is the area that I make use of my mount so I can explore it quickly.

Just finished Trespasser and truly enjoyed it, though I probably botched the culminating scene. What follows are dumb questions and comments: - First off, why are there two eluvians at the Winter Palace? After having read about them in Masked Empire, I appreciate the DLC being built around them, but again, why are they there? You would think the Inquisitor would want to talk to one of Celene's people - perhaps Briala - about them.
- What of the annoying harlequins? Who do they work for? Solas? The Qunari? Or just the usual Orlesian Game Intrigues? You would think the Inquisitor would bring that up with Leliana or one of Celene's guards/soldiers.
- Once you find that first dead Qunari, shouldn't that info be shared with the Orlesians? If you reunited Briala with Celene in WEWH, you would think she would be aware if anything unusual was going on in the Palace or among the elves.
- Was there any official magical/medical explanation of what was going on with the rift mark?
- Now, trying to understand the new lore. Fen Harel/Dread Wolf/Solas and the other elven gods weren't gods at all but very powerful mages who were able to feign godhood over the ignorant masses. To free the masses, Solas created the Veil to separate the Fade from the physical world and banished the Evanuris - the false elven gods - to the Fade. By doing this, however, elves lost their immortality and elven civilization declined. So, what was the nature of the pre-Veil world? One gets glimpses of this from what ancient Elven legends are told by the Dalish. But what about humans and Qunari pre-Veil? (Apparently, the Evanuris forced the dwarves underground to mine lyrium for them?)
- Now Solas now regrets this and wants to tear down the Veil to recreate at that old world? If that's the case, why help close the breach and defeat Corypheus? Wouldn't that have ultimately created a world where the Fade and the real world are one?
- And going back to Solas' reaction to the GW blood mage plot to kill the Old Gods, why did he react so passionately? Is there any connection between the fate of the Old Gods and what Solas did to the Evanuris?
- Regarding the Qunari plot, they would use eluvians and elven Qunari spies to pull off coups in the south. But what was the dragon and Dragon's Breath for?
- I have Leliana as Divine, but in the end cut scene where they plot the future, she comes out in Inquisition finery. What's up with that?
- I am surprised they didn't utilize Morrigan at all given how she introduces the eluvians to Inquisition.
Overall, a lot of fun. I look forward to the next game. I hope some of the characters carry on.

olnorton It's all in the cooking. You can't just toss those guys into the microwave and call it a day. Need to have quality nug and cook them properly with the correct side dishes. I wonder if their flavor will change once they get accustomed to the surface because of the change in diet. Figure Leliana will be curled up in a corner crying once the testing is over. --- Today Sabrae showed those spider who was boss. Well Sera, Blackwall and Dorian did. Sabrae just ate dirt, still sleepy after all that rolling around yesterday. Dorian had some fun on Blackwall's expense when the latter spotted a woman in the desert. "I know you've been lonely. But that's just bad." Poor Blackwall. Sabrae also put some flowers on Senna's grave. Senna's widower now has Hamin's beautiful hair. So pretty and tempting to touch... Anyways. She did not read Senna's gravestone, but mentioned Falon-Din because elves, so more testing is needed. Keep mixing Sabrae's name with Saerin. Planning to "trade" their world states. Aka Sabrae gets Saerin's Warden+Hawke and Saerin's story gets tagged onto another Warden+Hawke combo. So that keeps throwing me off. Then she did some selling, gathered some elfroot and chatted with Dorian for a while. Until Solas and Cassandra came and dragged her by the ears to the rift. The closing went well, even if Solas decided this was the time to go super creep and not load his mesh properly. There were also some bits from the PINK fade. Radical. As usual there were some party crashers to the after party. They were met with rock and roll. Or well, sword and roll. All the named mooks were saved, so yay for that. Also learned that Bull Rush is fantastic for saving grumpy blondes. The rest went pretty well. Sabrae talked trash to an elderly tevinter and beat up some despair demons without using the mark. Yay. The Giselle talk was polite, ending with Sabrae doubting that hope would save them. The musical did not convince her, so she followed Solas incase there was an encore. My growing dislike of the man and Sabrae's constantly grumpy face made the scene interesting for me. Her eyes narrowed as he spoke. As he stopped her voice came out as chill as the air around them. "Let's make this clear" she said in a low, trembling voice. "I am not your Lethalin, you are not my Haren. There is no 'us', keep trying with Sera, I'll have none of it. Flat ear" she paused, her eyes narrowing even further. He sighed internally, her attempt at an insult was almost amusing in it's irony. But the rant was leading somewhere, so he kept his face neutral since anything else would probably just rile her up more. When she felt her point had been made she continued. "But there is no staying here. If..." she paused, probably stopping herself from using "we". "If the inquisition stays here we'll starve, freeze or both. I'll listen to what you have to say, but do not pretend to be my friend."
Her tantrum out of the way, he explained the foci for her, using basic terms. He then explained to her the path to Skyhold in loose terms. She would have the general idea where to go, but not enough for her to pack up and leave while he slept. She seemed to have calmed down, but children and their tantrums. As she left him to rest for the night, he rubbed his head, sighing. Talking to the Dalish always gave him a headache.
Mind you, I did not say it made for interesting writing, but I had fun. Sabrae declared the Inquisition for "what was right", what ever that was. Blackwall and Sera approved. Dorian kept his council, probably still trying to find a cheap ferry back home, since even more dragons are popping up. Now she'll probably just go around and chat to her companions. Don't want to create Hawke just yet, so maybe she'll visit the Emerald Graves instead. There are 9 crystal grace flowers in her inventory and her head would look awfully pretty with some flowers on it. ---- deadlydwarf Here are my dumb attempts at answering some of the questions. These are mostly guess work with a tiny sprinkles of facts, but not reliable enough to quote them. But glad you had fun (and managed to kick the big mage guys butt. He's the worst!) 1. Celene had a large interest in the occult, which was one of the reason why she recruited Morrigan. Morrigan might have shown Celene her mirror. I think Celene helped to fund the fixing of Morrigans mirror in the text adventure in the Dragon Age Keep, atleast helped to fund it. Then Celene probably used her influence to purchase some more of those. Even if she died, I'm pretty sure not all of her stuff was cleaned out and thrown in the trash, especially the secret occult stuff hidden in the palace many storage rooms.
2. According to the wiki they are elite rouges often hired by nobles. There are a lot of players of the Game in the Winter Palace, so they might be under their employment. Or maybe they were hired as a party quirk. It is Orlais after all.
3. It should be, but that would interfere with the DRAMA. I like to think it's a sign that the Inquisition has grown a bit too big and it's members see themselves as bit too important for the Inquisitor to handle. And also some nonsense about it causing panic and that the Inquisition is capable of handling it by themselves, in secret.
4. Probably just an eventual result. The anchor is an unintended accident and was probably supposed to be connected to some material object, not a person. Only so long you can have a portal to the dreamworld embedded in your hand after all.
5. 6. 7. 10. Not touching that.
8. They use the dragons venom to create the bombs, then use the eluvian to sneak the bombs into places where they can explode the heads of the nations. The explosions would have been "the dragons breath".
9. She might have snuck to the meeting so she could help plan without outsiders knowing about it. The divine sneaking into Haven in full regalia might have brought to much attention to the super sekret planning. She probably picked the finery because then she would look like a general higher up to the outside circle, while the inner circle would recognize her and vouch for her if questions were being asked. Remember that the people of Thedas are not good with faces, so just changing clothes is a legit disguise.

Exploring the Hissing Wastes. There is a whole lot of... nothing. Its one of my favorite areas. The best part is the quest, Tomb of Fairel. Some good schematics and lots of coin. Oh yeah. The dragon.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm such a dork but at least I'm in good company. My first crafted set was "____ of the Noble Upstart." deadlydwarf I have not missed those guys. It makes me wish I had played DA2 beforehand since they were pretty tough in that game too. That final boss in Trespasser is hard. I had to fight him twice on my elf because he decided to bug out. I had more trouble with the last boss of Descent though. Still, that mage can kiss my lily white tush. I can answer one of your spoilery questions without runing anything: You don't see Morrigan in Trespasser because of the Well outcome. Since she could be the dragon and possibly very wounded it's probably best if they didn't bring her in. Oh and the devs would have had to factor in Morrigan's son. That's more animation and the like. Besides, the stinger from the main game told me that this isn't the last we're going to see of Morrigan. At least imho. It'll be easier in the next game with her son being more grown up. If we figure about 3-4 years from the time of Cory's defeat til DA4, the kid should be old enough to be away from Morrigan. As far as the Mark in Trespasser goes, I've been puzzling over that all week. Was Solas secretly preventing the Mark from consuming the IQ? Was it just a matter of time before the magic went haywire? Or worst of all, did Solas trigger the Mark meltdown to depower the IQ? Sera, Cole and Vivienne are my B-Team. I like Varric much more than Sera; Cole tends to be too squishy even in excellent gear; and Vivienne is a bitch so she stays home. Iron Bull comes with me a lot if I'm playing a tank but not so much if I'm playing a rogue or mage. That is unless I'm doing the Bull romance, in which case I drag him around with me. According to a poll here on the forums, I'm one of the only posters that has Bull as their "canon" romance. Then again, I'm one of the few that has listed dwarf as their "canon" race. themikefest It's one of my favorite zones too. I don't use my mount once I get the camp by the vendor open. Banter fires off constantly. Also, it's the only place in the main game that talks about dwarven lore. Plus, easiest dragon to find in the game. The most annoying too. I think the dragon in the Storm Coast is more difficult, but the one in the Hissing Wastes loves to pad out the fight.

Kipper, thanks for the thoughtful replies! All of a sudden, Dragon's Breath begins to remind me of that terrorist chemical attack in Kirkwall in DA2! (I remember a mad female elf being involved. But now I wonder if the Qunari had a hand in that too...) Kipper Natashina Yes, the monster Saarebas was a bear! (And about as big as one of those Great Bears too!) After crafting electricity resistant armors to protect my team from the first Saarebas' I ran into, however, this fight ended up being doable. (That and I was at Level 27 plus.)

I think Kirkwall was sort of an accident. In other words, I don't think the Arishok intended to directly attack the people. He did make sure that Sar Qamek was leaked to the crazy elf though. So...the Qunari are responsible but they didn't orchestrate it. By the way, is it just me or is 27 a weird number to end on? There is those level 29-30 Despair Demons in JoH so I had assumed that we'd end on level 30. As a related general side note for the thread: Read the codex sometimes. If it says the gold/item has a nasty curse on it, take it at face value in JoH. Or be prepared to stealth and run like hell with a rogue. I'm going to be sharing the stats of my named gear here in a bit.
