Since I probably will want to take her through Awakening I may have to go back a bit, harden Alistair and try a softer ending . Or a new character... but it feels a bit rough to not do DAA with her. It will suit her. Does your Brosca PC have a LI? If so, there's a new mod that spices up the US ending, which I found lame in the vanilla game. I feel like I've seen a clip for it, bit thought it only worked for Alistair?

From the Diary of Kara Trevelyan: So...we found the missing Seekers. Or at least some of the Seekers since Cassandra insists there still must be a few out there...somewhere. I am inclined to agree given the secretive nature of the organization. But, surprise surprise, we ran into the Lord Seeker. The actual Lord Seeker. Funny last time we saw him he was a lot more...long in the face and had giant Spider Legs...and was also trying to be me.
Anyways when we got home I encouraged Cassandra to do what she wants to. As much as I have grown, in power, in confidence, and in my own abilities I cannot be everything to all people. I cannot be Cassandra's moral consious and tell her what to do. This is her choice. And robbing her of it would be stupid, especially since she is also a candidate for divine. It did not feel right suggesting that she takes on greater burdens given she might be taking on one of the most tiresome jobs ever. Especially since I will actively lobby for her if given the chance because Leiliana...Maker bless her...just seems so arrogant. So I had a lot of fun doing Cassandra's loyalty mission, took a lot of pictures which I am sure may make it onto the BSN somewhere...one day. I really do enjoy that quest for the most part. Nice and easy. And again entirely ripped through the Lord Seeker. I have decided, because it does seem like this playthrough might get done a lot...quicker...then any of my other playthroughs...and thus maybe the problems I am having with some companions liking me...it just seems because I am not doing as much bull shit as I usually do. Things are nice and efficient this time. Not putting as much time into finding Fade Touched materials, just waiting for it to happen, got done with the Assassin quest very quickly....I mean in the past that has been a three day session by itself. Just...I could be wrapping this up soon. Pretty soon....hopefully.

So Irene made it up to the top of Fort Drakon with Alistair, Wynne and Shale. Arl Eamon and First enchanter Irving also made it up to confront the Archdemon together with the Redcliffe soldiers who fought valiantly. Riding on the mighty dragons head Irene knocked the demon out. Alistair wanted to be the one to deliver the killing and as Irene was about to politely refuse him and convince him that he was needed as king in Ferelden he rushed past her and thrust his sword deep into the beasts heart. Alistair made the ultimate bsacrifice for Ferelden, for Thedas and for his love, the little dwarven lady, Irene Brosca. Irene stayed in Ferelden as chancellor for Queen Anora who was released from the tower after King Alistairs death. Zevran stayed with Irene in Denerim as did Oghren after accepting commision a Ferelden general. Later the assembly of Orzammar proclaimed Irene a living Paragon. Thus she keeps on living, however never forgetting the young knight who stole her heart.

Nothing.. Since my computer is dismantled right now parents... You said Last court was DA related. I made an account for that game. And then near immediately abandoned it. It wasn't exactly telling me how to play it in the first place and it didn't seem intuitive.
I read all of MAgekiller last night. Since I am more word based than visual based, it was a very quick read. I'd like to read again, really looking at the artwork... but the artwork is very American comic, which I'm not a huge fan of. I think it had a bit of a sweet "happy" ending. There were two characters that looked like other characters. (A older bald elven mage looked like Solas, and I think the way the artist drew Charter looked a lot like Calpernia.) I think the comic suffered from being released separately? Like, seriously, Tessa introduced herself AND Marius three times. REALLY annoying when you are reading all in one go. Like, dude, I didn't forget who you were. And when it's just one box of text per panel, the introduction ended up taking like...6 pages of a very short comic in the first place. It was a little odd to think that... like, we as players have made the argument that the Inquisitor's hand is too important to go mucking around doing their own dangerous dirty work. Then there is a comic about various people doing the dangerous dirty work. So, I'm like, so what was I doing as Inquisitor? a different tier of dirty work?

The inky would do dirty work, if they wanted, in areas with rifts. The rest was pretty optional. No rift, no need for the inquisitor to be there.

Our father's voice echoed through the place, and Bethany retrieved father's old staff. It isn't as powerful as her standard warden issue, but still good to have. Now I just have to find out what's going on with Emeric.

I will have to look into that. Right now I'm playing entirely unmodded. Mainly because my first play-through I went into the game heavily modded. Crazy stuff happened then. Tell me about it! During my last DAO PT, my intent was to have Loghain make the US. I dissed Alistair and recruited Loghain. Then my warden refused the DR. And then everything got messed up and I was stuck in limbo somewhere around Denerim. To save the PT, I started using console commands, but that didn't work perfectly. I went into DENERIM with the support of both the elves AND the werewolves! When the time came to choose my final party and the PC says farewell to the rest of the gang, she ended up speaking to the ghosts of both Alistair and Morrigan. Afterwards, things seemed to be working well and we take on the AD. That fight went well, but just before the AD goes critical, Loghain goes down. Before I can revive him, the cut scene kicks in and my PC goes in for the kill! Doh! Now, that would normally mean that my PC would make the US and next scene would be at the funeral. BUT NO, the next scene is of the big celebration AND there's my Warden taking in all the glory! And Alistair, strangely, doesn't seem mad at her! So, my PC got to have her cake and eat it too! She became the only GW ever to kill the AD without doing either the US or the DR -- and lived to tell about it!

Doing Wicked Eyes before the one fade quest which I usually do first. How I hate the game. The Highlight of that whole thing, for me, is unveiling Florian's duplicity in front of the entire court. It makes me smile every time. Edit add: meant to say "redeeming." Mostly I feel me about the whole place. That's about it. I hate doing this quest, its as much fun as traveling to the Fallow Mire. I dislike the double talk, wheeling and dealing, backstabbing political intrigue. I'm like Gespard, I'll tell you straight up how it is, no BSing around.

I told Anders if he was going to hang out with me, he needed to get himself a new robe. But I think Justice must have chosen it. It doesn't look much better than his old one. What kind of nutcase would do this?

So, my drawing skills are piddling, and I've not given up, but the story demands to be told in a form I can stand. So, I've settled for fanfiction for -in the now- to be followed up by graphic novel version later. If anything, this helps with that later. It would suck to draw out several pages of a scene only to decide it doesn't narratively work or that, OH, I needed to shove in that one scene with that one character before THAT scene with that other character. I'm pretty sure I've read online that I was supposed to write out a script anyway. In case anyone is interested, the names of my Origins characters of story arch One; my story starts 9:18 Dragon, not 9:30:
Augustus Amell Illara Tabris Guinevere Cousland* Ellowyn Surana Naderra Brosca Lloth Aeducan Suri Mahariel*
*These names may change.
Side Characters from Origins that will get more face time: King Cailan Isabella Jowan Tamlen That guy Tabris was supposed to marry, Nelaros. Brosca's mom. Because her fall into alcoholism needs more explaination. Iona Anora's handmaiden, Erlina That weird city elf that idles in Arl Eamon's estate: Nigella
Technically were there, but not there in the video game, but will be in my Origins story arch: Karl and Anders Tabris's mother
Mahariel's parents are apparently super dead, how did I miss that. Ashale then. Surana's parents
Other cameos, of a sort: All the keepers of all the clans known. Merril Anise Lavellan Falessan Solas

The father died before she\he was born, and the mother committed suicide shortly after. Ashalle was her\his de facto mother. (or are your origins starting further back in time than the game origins?) It will be interesting to see how you fit Adaia in, as the timeline is contradictory.

I see no reason to contradict this canon, so will adjust accordingly. Can you elaborate on Adala? Read that wrong. that Tabris's mother, who remained alive long enough to teach her child fighting skills. "killed by humans" but no details are given. I've decided some other way for her to die. In general, I have been working on Timelines and who is alive when, but haven't looked into a lot of the minor characters yet. Also something to mention is that my story starts 9:18 Dragon, not 9:30.

Huh. I've actually played the Dalish Origin, but never seemed to run into the information of how they died. I see no reason to contradict this canon, so will adjust accordingly. The father was the clans Keeper before Marathari, The parents were attacked by Humans when the mother was due to give birth. The father died, and the mother was left for dead but survived her injuries long enough to give birth. I'm pretty sure she then committed suicide, but she may have just succumb to her injuries. (You'll have to ask Ashalle, although she doesn't like talking about it.) Can you elaborate on Adala? Is that Tabris's mother or some other person? Googling did not answer. I have been working on Timelines and who is alive when some, but haven't looked into a lot of the minor characters yet. It was confirmed by the writers, that the Adaia that Leliana frees from the Arl's dungeon in Leliana's song, was the Wardens mother. The dates, as I say, don't really add up. What we do know about Adaia, is that Duncan wanted to recruit her into the grey wardens, but Valendrian talked him out of it. Valendrian also pressured Cyrion to bring the marriage forward to stop Duncan from recruiting Adaia's child. We know Shianni was 6 when her mother died and Cyrion bought her to the alienage to live with them. Cyrion gave Shianni the warden's toy mabari, so this would suggest that the warden is older than Shianni. Also that Adaia taught the warden to fight with weapons, but not Shianni. Probably because she wasn't old enough at the time. We don't know exactly when Adaia died, only that she was killed by a Human. We also don't know exactly how long Leliana spent in the Lothering chantry after freeing Adaia, before meeting the warden. So you have to jiggle things a bit to make them fit.

Thanks for the compliments on my dwarf. I really loved her and loved playing her. She was an archer that romanced Bull. I've got some other pictures of her laying around. I might share them later if you guys would like. --Finished the Emerald Graves. I always reveal that Fairbanks is a noble. The people around him need a leader that really cares about him. Even though he turned out to be a literal bastard (he doesn't know who his dad is,) and his mom was disowned. But hey, win for everyone! I took out the dragon as well. I wasn't set up for her...but she was level 17. I'm level 23. --I've been consciously slowing down a bit on this character. For one, laundry is piling up. I tend to zone into the game a little too much. My dogs have been missing my attention. Also, I'd like to try to get the most if not all the WT missions I can finished. Mainly just to do so. I've been running back to Skyhold as needed. --I went back to the Deep Roads and made sure to update the camp. I'm glad that's an instant WT mission. I also finally got a Superb Corruption rune on my axe. --Speaking of the WT, there is another thing that drives me nuts about it. When you hit fairly late game, that's when the WT times start getting idiotic. Most of the WT missions after you finish Abyss and WHWM are 6+ hours. I don't think the WT is a horrible idea but they just put too much onto it. Then you have the dozen or so new ones that pop up between the two DLCS, one of which with it's own War Table... Odin spare me. --Anyway, got my giant nugs delivered. I promptly went down to the Undercroft and got that synched up. It's not like it matters. I have used a mount on this run a grand total of once. That was for the hair-pulling Golden Halla quest in the Exalted Plains. Still, I don't mind adding it to my collection. I might use it on a future dwarf. --Made both Dorian and Solas some kick ass end-game staves. I wasn't going to for Solas, but then I realized that I was taking him along for Frostback Basin and the Deep Roads. I love having a freaking staff with over 210 dps. They look the same, but Solas' has a master corruption rune (going for another superb when I have the mats) and Dorian has a master cleansing rune. He'll be getting a superb version when I can. --Started the trek across the Hissing Wastes. I'm not going to use my mount at all this time. I need the aloe vera-like plant in order to finish upgrading my Jar of Bees. Hissing Wastes is great for hearing companion banter. --Now back to doing laundry and making sure that Wilbur (my 18 month old dachshund mix) is finally mellowed out before I go back to the desert. This is how I think Harding felt about trying to scout the area:

The Qunari said "we take care of those in the Qun" I though yeah, well why didn't you shoot the bitch before she killed your new convert? i.imgur.com/roxw2O4.jpgBack at the mansion I had to choose between someone trying to kill the woman I love over some relic, and two Elven kids who escaped the justice of the city guard. i.imgur.com/OMFMwGZ.jpgThe relic turn out to be the reason the Qunari were stuck in Kirkwall all this time. i.imgur.com/JBi44Sa.jpgIsabella said she always knew what the relic was, but she didn't want to worry me about it. Just like her, always thinking of others. i.imgur.com/GEnfbDi.jpgI told her we would get the relic back, but the room where the deal was meant to take place was full of Qunari and Tevinter mages, Wall Eye Sam did a runner with the tomb, Isabela went in hot pursuit, and for reasons that have slipped my mind, instead of going after them, we stayed and fought everyone there. By the time the dust had settled and we got outside, Isabela had killed Sam and taken off with the relic. She had left an apology letter on his corpse. Ah, even in her haste she was thinking of me, that's so sweet. Aveline still wanted me to get the Elves back from the Arishok, so I met with her at the compound. This, this is what was so important. i.imgur.com/scTvxCd.jpgAveline pressed the point and things got ugly. i.imgur.com/QHinNCo.jpgIt was open warfare in the streets, Aveline thought we should get to the Keep and rally her guardsmen. i.imgur.com/U9pffbp.jpgAmidst the fighting we ran into Bethany and the Grey Warden who saved her, but they weren't interested in staying to help. i.imgur.com/dbbMQXI.jpgI told Bethany about mother, but she already knew. i.imgur.com/qiBJy5u.jpgWe met up with the First Enchanter and the Commander of the templars, and decided to take back the Keep. i.imgur.com/Sjvm9xX.jpgThe Arishok had managed to get there ahead or us, but wasn't going anywhere without his book. i.imgur.com/iKmEtxJ.jpgJust then, my Isabela turned up with his stupid book. (I knew she'd never leave me) i.imgur.com/02ePFII.jpgBut he still wasn't happy, he wanted to take bella with him. I said over my dead body, and he said that's what he had in mind. i.imgur.com/Vk8TyUo.jpgi.imgur.com/HUPswgM.jpgSo now they are calling me the Champion of Kirkwall. But don't worry, I'll be giving Isabela the good spanking she deserves.

I finally had some time to continue playing, so here's what I've been up to. Dear Diary,
after we discovered what the Grey Wardens were up to in the Western Approach, we decided to take of the matter. Stroud knew about the Warden Fortress at Adamant, Josephine managed to conjure up some trebuchets out of thin air and off we went to politely knock - the fortress down.
It was total chaos. Demons everywhere, Wardens attacking left and right. It was no fun killing them, I tell you. We at least were able to convince some of the warriors to retreat. They were not content with what was going on in their order.
When we reached the courtyard we interrupted the ritual that would bring the demon army to our world and destroy it, like we have learned about during the trip to the future. Naturally, we tried to stop it, but Clarel was too much under the influence of that smug Tevinter dude to listen to me. I wish I had told her that it was Corypheus who had put the Calling in their heads but that idea came to me only much later, as it often is the case.
So, shit went downhill pretty fast. Tevinter dude summoned Corypheus' dragon and also the rift opened and more demons came through. It was a tough fight, but we managed. Blackwall was reliable as ever, standing as a living bulwark in front of the monsters, not giving them an inch. So Dorian and Cole were able to shoot magic and arrows around while I admit to having struggled not to be noticed by our enemies too much. It was crowded and they were everywhere.
As I said, we managed and then pursued Clarel, who had changed her mind and now fought the dragon and Tevinter dude. Sadly she did not make it, giving her life so we could escape. Which worked not too well, since the whole structure started crumbling beneath our feet and we all were falling to our deaths. The only thing I could do was using the anchor, even though I had no idea what would happen.
We landed in the Fade. Yes, the actual and real Fade. It was terrifying and marvelous at the same time. Cole was not happy at all, so we promised to get him out as soon as possible. Of course we had to fight our way through even more demons while being mocked by the master of this domain: a nightmare demon. He tried wearing us down but we didn't listen to him. With the help of a spirit in the form of the Divine we made our way through. When we had slain the demon and were about to get through the Rift back to Adamant another massive demon blocked our path. Stroud and Hawke both offered to distract it so we could make it out of there. To make a long story short, Hawke stayed. She had been the one to release Corypheus from his prison after all, at least that's how I remember the story, so yeah, it seemed fitting. We then returned and were greeted by our soldiers and the remaining Grey Wardens who yielded to us. I told them they were bound to help us sort this mess out and they gladly agreed.
Everyone who has not been with us when we walked in the Fade was more than curious to hear about it. One exception being Varric, who was busy grieving for his friend Hawke. It was heartbreaking to see him so sad. It seemed to help listening to one of the funnier tales he had to tell about the Champion. The second exception was Solad, of all people. I thought he would be very interested in hearing about it all, but no. He seems to care so little for me that he stopped caring about anything at all and pretty much refuses talking to me. If that's how he wants it, fine. I don't need him.
Now we will all get a good rest while preparations are underway to attend that stupid ball the empress of Orlais is having and that we will have to attend to save her life. I'm not really one for fancy parties so I'm not that excited.
Anyways, see you! Dagna
I don't know if it is a bug or working as intended, but Solas dislikes my Dagna so much that I can't talk to him about anything except for asking him about Corypheus over and over again. He didn't even have anything to say about the outcome of HLTA. Weird.

Doing the Emerald Knights tomb. Have Solas and Sera with me, just to hear them antagonize each other.

Natashina I'm afraid you will be disappointed - the war nugs don't sync. You have to buy the mystery box every time. I wait until I have at least one discount in place; this time I had both so it only cost 8500 gold.

From the Diary of Kara Trevelyan: It has been a while since I have had a chance to diary. Being worried about assassins coming after Josephine. Met with the House of Repose and they have some bull shit reason for wanting to assassinate my internal Ambassador. I was half tempted to kill their representative, send a message, wipe one of his kinds stupidity off the face of the Earth...but I decided not to in the end. He wasn't worth it, and in the end of the day he was unarmed.
Then off to Crestwood again. Just briefly this time. To deal with the fallout from Verchiel...finally (sorry Sera)...and her conteact was instantly butchered. The guy, Harmond something, just pissed me off, so he died. I had Sera kill him...maybe should have taken him back to Skyhold...but probably would have executed him anyways.
Then back to Skyhold for a quick jaunt, and back to Crestwood with Cullen. He wanted to give me a lucky coin, with my luck and his...well he probably needs it more.
Wrapped it up with a game of Wicked Grace, no Cassandra, which is odd...did Varric not invite her or...? Regardless, Josephine won, saw Cullen naked...it was a good day. So this playthrough has been odd. Really odd. This is probably the most unique playthrough i have done, which is both good and bad because I am seeing or re seeing more of the game for the first time. But its sometimes jarring. And I just do not know what I am doing wrong in the case of Cassandra. I mean in my experience usually I get the book scene around the time I first get to Skyhold, and in my first four playthroughs I have gotten her during the card playing scene. And I am doing all the same things I have done in the past, to the best of my knowledge. Its baffling. On the plus side unlocked Solas's personal quest. Speaking of unique things I have done, for the first time...ever...with Kara Trevelyan, I spared the Repose guy, usually I kill him. But in the end I decided that Kara really is not that murderous and he obviously did not mean Josie harm, and I think he gets away anyway....so it was weird but I can deal with it. I made up my debt to the Many Faced God by wiping Pel Harmond from exisistance though. As far as the Game is concerned I enjoyed the hell out of Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts. Fantastic quest which was very fun. And even though her canon state is Gaspard on the throne with Briala watching him like a Hawk...I did once confront Florianne so I could get the scene with her and I was so utterly proud of myself and Kara. In a game full of death and gore it was so unbelievably satisfying to verbally and politically out manuever someone for a change. For Kara though, personally, for her, she hates politics and the game...but discovers she is quite good at it. From her perspective. This is an amazing bit of character and character growth for her that she is best at what she hates doing. Plus her feelings of guilt over allowing Celene to be murdered, I have had the option to save her every time but most time Kara has her killed, because she feels its the best thing for the Empire, and its another compromised but telling victory for her and the type of person she is, has become, and will continue to become. And plus, with this playthrough maybe my 'canon' playthrough I decided she liked the quest too because, as much as she hated it and as much as her mom tried to force her into being someone she wasn't she kind of misses the nobility of Ostwick.

Cute but not worth the cash. I'd rather get influence and mats, as well as finishing my schematic collection. Edit: I woke up this morning feeling a bit like Solas. I had a very rough dream and need some stronger-than-usual coffee to shake it from me.
