Agreed. I think he was pragmatic enough to see that the situation they were in would require help of every Warden. Or at least he saw enough shit to know even one Warden can make a difference, no matter past grievances.

Well, at least this makes me feel less conflicted about having Ronja recruit the man :lol:

I always love the line Duncan tells during the Commoner origin when you first meet him

Duncan: The best Wardens are ruthless to their enemies, compassionate to their friends, and inspiring to their troops.

I feel like my girl Ronja would try to life up to that, mixed with what Alistair himself says about the Wardens at Ostagar if pressed about questions

Alistair: Duncan says the Grey Wardens do whatever is necessary to protect mankind from darkspawn. That means some pretty extreme things. Whatever it takes to bring victory.

(Pretty sure that Ser Gilmore has a similar line talking about how Wardens once burned down a village to keep it from the darkspawn (there's things like that in The Last Flight as well, though granted...that Blight took a lot longer)

I mean...to me that sounds like a license to screw up and nobody cares because...Blight :whistle:

So today (well technically yesterday) I made my Warden go through the Joining (yay!)

there was some funniness involved with the cutscene because of the modded armor I have on her, and because the Joining ritual cutscene removes gloves :rollseyes:

I have a mod that restores the gloves for that cutscene, but it doesn't appear to work for Dwarven wardens...and elven males (haven't tried with human males, but the females of both elves and humans do work)

So yeah...Ronja is now a Warden (Ronja: huzzah!), and is currently at Flemeth's hut waiting for me to get her to Lothering...which I'll do tomorrow (aka. technically today) :lol:

I just defeated Corypheus with my canon Dalish Inquisitor.

This time I wanted to make it more special and the finishing blow was a double firestorm released by Lavellan and Solas together (romanced).

I'd also like to point out that there is an elven image on the floor, like those in Mythal's temple. I made the two of them position themselves on that spot before casting the final spell.

Maybe that's the only ending they're still considered active?

I like to imagine different types of prosthetics depending on the Inquisitor's class

so the crossbow for rogues, warriors get a sword/axe whatnot and mages just summon one from the Fade with magic :lol:

she's from the Winterforge mod, basically it adds a new way to craft and enchant items, it also adds some new items to find, and I believe new spell combinations as well

I am close to finishing TW3's main game might start a DAO game and create a character and download MODS as I have it already installed before doing the witcher DLC.
