So finished DA2 and Legacy DLC with my imported DAO Rogue Noble Human, the first character I ever played in DAO. Will play Mar of The Assassin but am taking a break to play MEA (it's 6th anniversary) and as I needed to play a shooter for a change of pace.

Will also then play DA2 with my Rogue Noble Human Female and then at some stag go back to DAO and create a male and female elf character and play them through to the end of DA2.

It's funny the game (DA2) finale and all the credits, journal etc. played ignoring Isabela had not returned making me again think that it was a glitch as I am sure she was well over 50% friendly.

Anyway sided with the mages and the whole Orsino thing once again annoyed me, Meredith got turned into a statue, Anders was knifed in the back and Sebastien pledged his loyalty - that is enough to let Ander live next PT. Hawke and Merrill never left each others side.

I had not been overly keeping track of it but was sure she was in the blue not the red part of the Friendship zone but maybe not high enough.

I did want to go with Fenris, but I wanted to keep him for my canon run...so wanted someone else for this playthrough

So my only other options are Merrill, Isabela and Anders...and that last one is a no-go :why:

Meh...I already don't like mine due to me getting the idea to side with the Templars :rollseyes:

I mean, I had a blast with my Brosca being a sarcastic little shite...so want to do something different for my Hawke and Inquisitor

this means making different choices then usual, picking different LI's...and all that

chances are when I'm finished with the entire Dragon Age run I'll be all "thanks I hate it" :lol:

and also a playthrough I like to call "default DA Keep classes but make every hero a dude" (so warrior Warden, mage Hawke and rogue Inquisitor)

for my canon run I have my Amell Minerva (arcane warrior, battlemage), a rogue Hawke named Kara (sweetest assassin you'll ever meet), and a Inquisitor named Ishildur Lavellan (rift mage), and before anyone asks...no Ishildur wasn't named after LOTR...well kinda, but apparently it's also an Icelandic girl name meaning "ice battle"

and for the other run I'll be dusting of my Mahariel Arenor, but switching his class to warrior...kinda wondering how well a warrior archer would play

, mage Hawke will be named Viggo and I'm planning on a male Trevelyan named Nicholas ^_^

I've finished it a few times, but I thought it was fitting for this particular Warden 1) she's a dwarf and 2) she kept the Anvil

Jerrik does make some remark toward a Warden who destroyed the Anvil as well, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is :lol:

It's been four years (since I first finished a playthrough of DAI), but I've finally created my first female Inquisitors, Trevelyan and Lavellan, and got them started after taking a long break from the game.

Of the two, Trevelyan is the lower priority one and will go after Alexius if/when I things get boring with Lavellan. The girl on the left is a character from The Chronicles of Prydain. I gave her mother's name, Angharad, to this Trevelyan.

At the moment I'm playing as Lavellan: she's a middle-aged warrior who uses 2-handed weapons so that I don't need to bring a warrior along and because I'm planning this playthrough to be the lore-heavy one in which I drag Cole everywhere to hear his thoughts. Thus far the notable events have included Lavellan being the Inquisitor to not screw up the Chantry Remains. I'd gotten Grand Cleric Iona war table mission three times until I looked up the mission and found out you get it if Inquisitor's attempt to handle Chantry clerics in Orlais isn't successful. My 4th Inky finally chose Josephine for the mission – and prompty lost (even picking Josie there's a 1-in-4 chance to fail). I'm looking forward to finally getting Orlesian Army Warrior Armor schematic.

Another thing I was finally successful in had to do with Ser Barris. First time I chose the templars I managed to get him killed and got his replacement Fletcher. The second time I took great care to keep him alive – and then had templars yield to Inquisition. Well done, you idiot. So in order to (at last) see Barris's promotion I'm going to follow wiki's guide when doing his war table missions. Two previous times also I hadn't done the flag ritual, so now Abernache ended up dead. In Therinfal Redoubt's courtyard there was idle talk about a lord who was 7th in line to Orlais throne and now I'm wondering if that was supposed to be Abernache. I checked Valmont family tree and Gaspard and Florianne were Celene's only living first cousins. So I'm guessing Abernache would have been a second cousin? I like the dynamic Abernache has with Movran the Under, so this will be the first and last time of raising those flags.

After finishing Champions of the Just it was time for Corypheus and Calpernia to attack Haven. I got all the townspeople killed because I'd forgotten this mechanic, reloaded to rectify this, and Lavellan made it to Skyhold.

I had trouble trying to come up a name for this Inquisitor until I remembered a certain oracle from Suikoden V who had a soft spot for her bald-headed, elven right-hand man. So, Haswar it was.
