What did you do today in DA? [Spoilers]

Thank you that is really useful, I have saved it for a future playthroughs. 

I have not changed from default Hawke at this stage, I played my recreated Rogue Human Noble Male PT as default Hawke so now thinking maybe I'll just stick with the default female for this PT. But we'll see. 

Part 17, Deep Roads Expedition

Part 18, start of Act 2...mainly a lot of talking, and getting ambushed by Dougal

You remember correct as I thought the same since read that information everywhere how exactly Hawke can resist the blood mage Idunna him/herself without killing her right away - to be a mage or already have spec Templar (without party mage help I mean).

I played as Templar + another spec, but always took Templar as the second spec thus could not check that information (taking Templar as the first spec was always counterproductive with my builds).

And after your post I searched for information about that quest again - already can not find anywhere such lines as "or have a Templar spec to resist Idunna" (sources like wiki e.g.).

Unfortunately for the time being I can not check myself (now I am even more curious) as have no saves close to that quest (only a bunch of Hawkes after the Deep Roads).

But your information made me create another 2h warrior so probably also will be able to check that thing.

Good-luck with this PT, LadyofNemesis. It is a very good one.

Hawke with any personality can punch a hunger demon (at least red/purple for sure, have never played pure diplomatic). But this option is available only for warrior class.
The same as in Act 1 only rogue Hawke can throw a dagger to kill the bandit leader right on the spot using a special phrase (and again, red/purple for sure) - the quest where you save that somniari boy the elven mother asks to find (forgot proper spelling of all names and cannot look them up now: Feynriel and Arianie - something like that).

Part 22, A Bitter Pill

So very little done in DA2 for Swift Hawke the last two days, just little time to play.

I have cleared a lot of secondary quests in ACT 2 to date, maybe all of them but there are still plenty to spawn.

A couple of quests I missed and/or had forgotten in my last PT with William Hawke. One was the chase Sketch all over Kirkwall (needed a guide to fin some of the places) and one was for the dwarf Yehven who you have to venture into the Deep Roads and find his sons.

Told Yehven the truth re his eldest sons behaviour.

Aveline and Merill grovelled about their capitulation to the Demon in the fade in Feynriel's quest, had to do Aveline's twice to get Friedship points as I chose the wrong options.

Fought a gazillion Kirkwall bad dudes, Invisible Sisters who weren't invisible, Raiders, Dog Lords and Carta often simultaneously as fighting Sketh's enemies. Good Times!!!!

Combat

Lots done yesterday, Swift Hawke was very busy.

Seem to have cleaned out all the bandits in all the areas at night(probably speaking too soon) but have been unmolested the last several times I have traipsed around Kirkwall at night.

Found all of the Evil tomes but did not realise to get the 6th one you need to have destroyed the previous five BUT Console Debug to the rescue - ah - sort of. It was actually Varric to the rescue, who knew he could run so much. So way underestimated that final battle and made the ultimate mistake of thinking it was over after killing the main boss Xebhenek or something like that.

Swift resorted to looting only to get taken out by a couple of rage Demons that spawned on top of her in a corner. The game had a bit of a wobble and she could do nothing to escape. Isabella had already gone down so Merill and Varric were left to get the job done. Merril lasted all of 10 seconds so it was up to the Dwarf. The game was definitely playing silly buggers stopping Varric on occasions from being able to move and one hit was taking 50% of his health. However he ran, stealthed and drank healing potions like they were Pints from The Hanged Man and eventually took out the two remaining Rage Demons who seemed way over powered.
