EA Play App thing I guess is what's making my origins game constantly crash. Last gaming session, trying to access the world map made it crash. This session, the Lothering Wolves quests seems to be making it crash. Twice it just spontaneously crashed, lost about half an hour to 45 minutes of my efforts between all the crashes. It's making Origins really damn frustrating to be honest. It makes me wonder how playable Dragon Age Origins is really going to be even 5 years from now. I'll have to find physical copies to play on playstation. Does PS5 even go that far backwards compatitible? Then I was also thinking about how apparently the Keep doesn't work anymore, so how are people making their DAI world states?

I'm slightly amused that my EA app run super well under Linux (using Wine)...it only reverted my DAI settings twice , but no crashes.

Over the weekend I had my first experience of playing through Trespasser with Iron Bull loyal to the Qun. I don't mind that sometimes my game characters just can't manage to talk their way out of trouble, but the scene where he turns against me felt kind of perfunctory and half-assed. Even if he sees the Viddisala's authority as superseding the Inquisitor's, he also suggests earlier in the DLC that this is likely a rogue Ben-Hassrath faction and even asks to be taken along through the eluvians to help figure out what's going on. Why wouldn't he at least try to argue to the Viddisala that the Ben-Hassrath might be mistaken about the Inquisitor's intentions and allegiances? And then all we got afterwards was a single dialogue choice with one of the other party members.

Also, is it part of the lore that Divines cannot marry? There was kind of a weird scene where Cassandra (who was in a romance with this Inquisitor and had also become the Divine) says that Varric's been putting the idea in her ear that the Inquisitor intends to propose, but then when he reacts favorably to the idea, she says it can never happen. But if that's the rule, shouldn't the Inquisitor know that too? And why would she take Varric's joke seriously in the first place? At the very least, I'd say the Inquisitor's "maybe we *should* get married" dialogue choice shouldn't be there if it's known to be against the rules, especially if the Inquisitor is Andrastian (as this one was).

None of this is to say I think poorly of Trespasser in general - it's up there on my list of "this should have been in the main game" DLCs - but the logic seemed a little odd in these two scenes.

You shouldn't need internet to play DAI? Only to initially import your world state but after that offline should work.

EA App needs it to connect. FMM wants to launch it.

I told Laliana no, twice, to joining my party. She pouted and walked away. And took Sten into my party. This is my first time bringing him to the Dalish. He constantly casts shade at almost every person we talk to, and they just do not react to some of the really rude things he says. 😆
