What did you do today in DA? [Spoilers]

I normally always "soften" her in DAI but failed this time and not sure why, told her not to kill the sister in her mission but she did anyway.

She did make a comment at one stage that you come and talk to me now at Skyhold but I had already spoken to her multiple times at Haven, as many I think you could.

Does not encouraging her to be Divine have an impact?

Thanks, I am pretty sure I spoke to her and told her the Inquisition needs to be better than that but maybe something happened, and I did a reload and forgot to talk to her?????

Just a quick screenshot of the team about to leave for lothering. I LOVE the warden armor mod for my Brosca! He's my canon warden that I'm running once more before Veilguard hits. Mainly dual wielding axes, with some archery thrown in when I wanna mix it up.

I'm not going to play it justyet jus tdecide who I want my Warden and Hawke to be as I want to play Origins and 2 as well. My Inquisitor will be an arche rogue so I'v ealread ydecided on her part I just need to play her once I get that far. I'm hoping to at least get through What Pride had Wrought if not finish th emain game today. I a mconsidering skipping a few side quests which means I will have a fw eles qsuadmates t opick from in Trespasser. But seeing as I'm not carrying this Inquisitor through it doesn't matter really as I'm really at this point just trying to get to the end so I can clear the deck for a proper run. Ok. I found a new definition of frustration. I was starting up DA2 to make sure it runs before I start a playthrough after my DAO playthrough.  It started, but what I forgot is I removed some mods however long ago. So instead of going through the hassle of troubleshooting, I decided to uninstall the game and then reinstall. It went well until I started the game. It would not start because the game has to be activated. I entered the info required with a return window saying wrong password/email. The funny part is I was already login my ea account. Ok. I went searching. Found a solution on steam. The reason why my password/email was incorrect was because my password had certain characters in it. The password is only to contain numbers and letters. It worked. Now it will take a bit of time to install the mods I had, but I had to shake my head about the password thing.

Finished the Broken Circle Quest. Debated for a while whether or not Theron would enact the Rite of Annulment, eventually decided he wouldn't because he feels some sympathy for mages being caged, and dislikes the concept of templars on principle. Somehow he's already hit it off with Wynne, too, which surprised me since Alistair is constantly hovering around neutral. I'm roleplaying it as she reminds him of Keeper Marethari so, against his better judgment, he has a soft spot for her. I don't hate the Fade portion as much as other people, but the quest overall really started to drag after a point. Saved Irving and most of the mages from Uldred, although a couple turned. I wish Uldred had been developed more, he's a great foil to Wynne since both are technically abominations. Oh well.

Off to the Dalish, next.

The sylvans snuck up on me on more than one occasion, the last set made me scream a little bit. 🤣

Been clearing the Brecilian, shopping like I'm rich, repeat. Everyone is level 13 because I've sold at least 800 traps to the Lady in Lothering.

What I have noticed is that a lot of dialogue options are 2 versions of nice and 2 versions of asshole. Regarding Camp Time, I'm trying to stagger it. I'm also playing hard to get, Alistair is gonna have to be the one to give the rose for sure.

I always love playing in this order: Elves, a smidge of Denerim, and then finally Redcliffe. That way, when Alistair is like, "omg, I've deceived you for so long, I am a bastard prince"-- you actually have been deceived for a long time. Alistair just got teary eyed about Duncan, wanting a memento. Makes the fact that Denerim is next up even more perfect.

Zarherin is seriously so unhelpful and clearly trying to manipulate you to slaughter the werewolves. What a jerk, how was he the Clan Leader this long

I always thought it was some sort of Guardian of Mythal, but it's never made clear.

Got a lot done in Origins over the weekend. I wrapped up the Dalish questline by attempting to broker peace (mostly out of respect for the forest guardian, since quite frankly Theron doesn't give much of a fuck about humans, especially not Swiftrunner) before ultimately siding with Zathrian. He had his doubts, and lost a lot of respect for Zathrian in the end, but ultimately is too beholden to clan hierarchy to challenge a keeper.

Also had several conversations with Wynne about duty and what it means to be a Grey Warden. Wynne is such a great character, she might be my favorite in Origins. Even if it is preposterous that she's 49 and they treat her like a crypt keeper. It synergized well with completing the Dalish questline, since Theron ended it with his trust and belief in the Dalish shaken quite badly. I'm roleplaying it as a turning point, where he starts thinking of himself more as a Grey Warden than Dalish for the first time, and used that to springboard into the Redcliffe quest. There he's at first hesitant to help the villagers but allows Teagan's pleas to sway him. I decided to kill Connor, since Theron doesn't trust blood magic and I refuse to acknowledge the leaving for the Circle option as credible, which is a choice I've only picked a handful of times. And man, as ever, does it hit hard emotionally. The little conversation you can have with Connor where you tell him about the elves version of the afterlife was such a somber, melancholic moment. It really rattled Theron and changed a lot of fundamental preconceptions he's always had about humans. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I can't talk to Wynne or anyone about the aftermath, as Theron was feeling vulnerable, especially after Alistair lashed out at him at camp. (Probably one of the few times Alistair actually got under his skin lol, although he played it brusque for the most part.)

Gonna start Denerim and then Orzammar, save Haven for last. I technically already popped by Denerim and talked to a few people, completed a few fetch quests. But it wasn't anything too notable, mostly just left Theron with an overwhelming distaste for human cities, ha. Also finished Morrigan's personal quest and, while I turned down her initial advances, will probably accept them this time as Theron feels comfortable now with his attraction toward humans.

From what I remember, the designer notes said it was Mythal (and not Flemeth). Also, the model was supposed to be an elf.

So yesterday I stopped my PT of DAI, I never planned to do the DLC's just did not want to invest the time as the game whilst enjoyable had become a bit boring and the gameplay tiresome. I did not even do the Grand Conclave or whatever it is called as the game dudded me again, this has happened previously.

After supporting Cassandra in dialogue three times to become Divine, supporting her at the war table, after speaking to Vivienne and her putting Cassandra forward as Divine and then supporting my choice the game gave me Vivienne as Divine Victoria!!!!!! Stick that where the sun don't shine game!!!!!

I am guessing it may have been as I "conscripted" the mages, that is the only thing I think it could be tied to.

EDIT: apparenlty it may have been because I told Leliana to not become Divine??????? 

"do not speak with Leliana as it could, no matter if you say you'll support her or not, override Cassandra becoming divine."

Anyway, glad I got to the end. Cass is by far my favourite romance in DAI and the end of the game is nice with her finally going to The Inquisitors bedroom instead of the blacksmiths.

Will be interested to see what info. they let us set in DA:TVe in terms of previous games if any. I assume I will be able to correct the above if it is important.
