Inqy Zara is now officially the Inquisitor and a Knight-Enchanter (don't tell Viv). Also, I almost found all 48 copies of Hard in Hardtown in Skyhold.

After closing another Fade Rift and hence levelling up my Inquisitor back off to Skyhold for some minor house keeping of course which turned into some major house keeping and interesting revelations.

First the Belles of Hunter Fell is one of the more interesting Side Table quest chains in the entire game. Detective sleuthing and trying to come up with some information, though I do wonder how much the first two missions actually helps lead to the third or if you always get the third. And plus getting to the ending has left me in a lot of...stress...that I get it right for obvious reasons. But I think I might be getting the hang of it faster. It sounds kind of biased and it is, I think, but it all has to do with A. your knowledge of RPGs and B. your knowledge of the lore of the setting. SO essentially the agent has to be the Smuggler since the agent is Ferelden and thus cannot be a Mortalatassi (associated with Nevarra) or a Bard (associated with Orlesians). Now I don't know if I am right of course yet so I may yet eat crow and honestly I feel its a bit...stereotypical to consider the Orlesian= Bard considering that Leiliana is also a bard and is technically Ferelden...but then technically.

With all that out of the way the latest selling spree produced an interesting result as well. I sold a lot of stuff off to get me enough gold where I thought I could go to the Black Emporium and pick up one of the rogue inspired rings. Turns out it was enough for both of them. But since I was there I also checked in with the crafting materials and I was rather shocked...I am high enough level to have access to all the Dragon Materials. So this does move around the time table a little bit or considering of moving things around...since I was able to buy enough bones to get enough for the Superb Dragon Bow when I get there. To help off set my losses I sold off all my tier 1 materials to. Somehting I was planning on doing. And this is getting me thinking long term about other crafting and stats. Right now my stats are sitting at like 114% Crit Damage and 14 % Crit chance. Course these numbers are about to skyrocket as Kara not only gets her bow, but the tier 3 armor, and then the attachments I can give her.

Continuing on from yesterday though I checked in to see what Varric would require to get Bianca upgraded with tier 3 mates because as I suspected the Limbs do require metal. So with that as an inspiration I went to open up the Hissing Wastes to get me more access to tier 3 metals and leathers and cloth even as I am starting to think about who will get what armor and also seeing who will need and who can get the attachments from here as I work myself into the game's final act(s). On this note always debate on whether or not Kitty's Collar is a good idea for Bull. Given that for the first time in a long time I hit the limit where I used up virtually all my health pots thus requiring a party swap. Still mostly closing out rifts so far and workign through the Venatori. Did remember and decide via executive decision to work my way over to the Wyvern nests because...more tier 3 mats.

Inqy Zara dealt with some Avvar in the Fallow Mire and also recruited some of them. Plus goats.


Now I'm wondering if I "finish" the Hinterlands or go visit another place.
I also haven't been to the Storm Coast, poor Bull Chargers, they have been waiting for, hmm, weeks probably.

just finished up my rush-through of my Amell Warden...and now I gotta decide on what to do next.
Either play the new Warden I posted the other day...or make a new DA2 playthrough...either one works I suppose

Why not just Zora.

Inqy Zara ended up finishing exploring the Hinterlands.

That means recruiting the Horsemaster. Clearing some mercenaries and their carta friends. Meeting with Dorian's dad.

And finding a bunch of secrets and making a new friend:



And if someone is wondering why everyone has guard in the pics. Zara is the only one with masterwork guard on hit. Turns out, one of the Horn of Valor upgrades is plenty to guard-up the entire party.

Defeated the big Rock Wraith, was way easier than usual as I asked if Merrill to do something about it and she did something that seemed to make him much weaker than is my normal experience as his health bar was way smaller.



Helped Feynriel in his dreams, failed both barrel puzzles Spoke Merril and Isabella afterwards and both were remosreful for choosing the demons enticement.

Got jiggy with Isabella and told her Love was always an option.



Watched Sandal and the dog have a chat then told Aveline she could take him to chew on the recruits.



Bethany got taken to the circle, maybe it was because of the new hair I gave her????



Did other stuff.

Looking ahead a little bit now that Kara has filled out the Assassin tree and trying to plan out the rest of her build...a question. The Assassin skill has an auto critical hit on stealth which pairs very nicely with the previous ability of 'get stealth renewed on kill'. Actually on that its so interesting in that regard just how important stealth is to rogue builds. Anyways though in stealth for the advancement you get either instantaneous stealth...or stealth that lasts longer after coming out of it basically...so does that make the crits last longer? Kind of an interesting thought to since not sure it will be worth it given some of the tactics I use, Full Draw is like the best thing to use, it just takes awhile to set up.

And I did prove to be right about Hunter Fell as well.

Main objective tonight was running around the Hissing Wastes of course picking up supplies that I need for the crafting I had wanted to get done. It worked out well. I kind of have noticed as a through thread I think this game really does give you a lot of tier 3 mats per each one of the things you either hunt or gather out in the world. So late in the game they probably figured the pickings would be slim. The best thing about this though is that I do a lot of hunting so I got a lot of materials. Like hardly done any Wyvern hunting at all...and I already had 66 of them at the end of it. Biggest thing I was trying to do was, since I was going to do it anyways, find the hunter who sent me after the Varghast there. I did not find the hunter after at least some looking. No great loss...per se. But then I completed the quest anyways because I killed the Varghast.

Next up on the list putting all that to good use. Kara has her up to date coat with the Hidden Blades. Sera has a new bow. Varric the Bianca limbs. And then Bull a new mallet. Also had a good deal of fun since I crafted the upgrades for it, the attachmanets, for the coat. So put it all together and Kara has now likw +25 dex on it but also some health bonuses, feels a bit odd, but that is the way the coockie crumbled. Also gave Bull heal on kill to see if that helps balance out Kitty's Collar at all.

Off to the Exalted Plains to start doing the final pre checks before I do the next two quests back to back. Namely got through the rest of the burning of the pits and what not. The results for Iron Bull's stuff is kind of mixed so far...it might be helping. But Kara has master assassin and with her doing Hidden Blades it does feel really nice. Didn't have too much trouble either...actually that's not true the Arcane Horrors were giving me fits. I do think it might be a sign of having the Even Ground thing on but seems the enemies got tougher at level 20. Got all the way up to creating the bridge between the two land masses so I could rescue the rest of the Orlesians. For once I am doing a bit of RP here and going in with the most respectable party I can think of. Cassandra, Blackwall, Vivi. Figure that they will be nice to see for Orlesians that have been under siege by magical defenses. May not appreciate me rocking up with a Qunari and a demon boy.
