@domi Guess my point that was lost is that one only does companion quests because they like the companion and/or to learn more lore about the world. Each companion does one or the other or both. You kinda encourage me to give ME another shot when you're doing your best to give DA a shot.

You kinda encourage me to give ME another shot when you're doing your best to give DA a shot. :P Well, I see what you are saying, and, yes, I agree, doing a mission for a companion you like is a nice experience. It's just that the companion mission set-up in ME2 really took it to the level far beyond a simple sidequest, intergrating each of the companions story into the main game, and experimenting with the mission designs, so it highlighted what the companion was like, and it was not so much about talking to His Sister or shooting three goblins that took her precious necklace. In the best of those missions it was nothing short of amaze-bond with all the imagination that went into them and resources.... I've never seen it any other game, tbh, so it's like going back to planet Earth, playing DA....

@deadlywarf : Sorry, was busy IRL, didn't have time to answer to you. No, everything is exactly the same as before, no upgrades. It's the same DAO. But it is so good in of itself, that I don't give a damn. =) Otherwise, I altered my character, to make him look more different than what I'm used to see in the game. Also my canon has brown eyes not blues. I forgot the tatoo on the first face too, that I headcanon as appearing after the ritual with the warden. So I recreated my character. __ Busy day for Joruth today. Despite the rumors of war, his brother and father leaving soon with their soldiers, he still had time for minor things, like helping Nan bothered by his Mabari, Svear, but especially invaded by big rats in her kitchen... Didn't end well for them.. Eh, I'm kinda scared by the number of rats in one piece. I'd be worried if it were there I worked... Oops. These guards were playing cards, a little distracted during their duty, and Joruth fell on them. The wrong brother to be honest. Joruth is not Fergus who is all smile and laugh unlike his austere and strict cadet. << The treasure is safe my lord, we don't get why whe should monitor this piece. >>
- << Do you have to understand your orders to follow them, to do your job ? Get back to work you two. >>Yup, with Joruth, duty is serious business ! Look above, just after his words, things quickly went back to normal, as expected ! But now, a look on my new definitive version of him :
<< Father will entrust the castle to me in his absence. I will become de facto the master of the castle, of highever. I look forward to taking on the task and embody the power even if it is only temporary. It's a heavy responsability waiting for me, and I'm ready. Father will be proud when he will come back. >>
And it is that night where everything began. Cries out there, grunts of Svear, the mabari, noises of rustling and blows at remote doors. Joruth brutally wakes up with the beautiful Iona at his side, his lover, having fun together a few hours ago with her, they happily discussed and more if you know what I mean. But now, they are both suddenly tense scared and frozen, the relaxed hours totally forgotten. They wonder what's going on, Svear keep growling before the door ! Joruth has a bad feeling about this. He feels terribly sick his stomach, he has no idea why. I kinda imagined the dialogue that way in my head : << Your Mabari, it keeps fixing the door while scolding. It has not stopped for a while. >> - << Svear, what's going on ? >> - << WOOF ! WOOF ! WOOF ! Rrrrh , Rrrhh, Rrrrh ! >> * His Mabari didn't hear him. Joruth get ups, alarmed, eyes hardening * - << I think I heard cries, something must happen ! >> - << Iona stay there. Time to get dressed and I'll take a look outside. >> - << I'm going too! I just have to slip into my dress and it's done. >> - << No, it does not please me that you go out. Not until we have a clear idea what is going on behind this door. >> * Iona horrified while Joruth is looking for his clothes * - << What !? No ! I'm scared, please do NOT leave me alone ! >> - << It is absolutely out of question that I leave you alone. Svear will remain with you. He will protect you. >> - << But... !! >> - << NO ! >> *cut brutally Joruth with a sharp tone, a finger raised toward her. * << You will do as I command, this is not up to discussion. We have no time for this. >> * Joruth approaches her and take her face between his hands, his voice softened. * << I'm not going far, I'm not leaving you alone. I promise. Understand that I am the master of the place, I'm a Cousland, I must know what is going on. You will barricade the door behind me, won't open to anyone as long as it is not the sound of my voice. >> << Understood. >>
-<< PAM PAM PAM ! OPEN THE DOOR ! OPEN THE DOOR ! >> * Iona, her fear suddenly forgotten, reassured by the arrival of allies, runs quickly and almost happily toward the door.* - << It must be the guards ! >> * Joruth tries to stop her. But too late...*
<< WAIT !....... NOOO ! >> End of dialogue. Ugh, poor Iona. Joruth was totally powerless, could only defend himself. He could only cry over her naked body after the quick fight with the attackers... Joruth was totally powerless, could only defend himself. He could only cry over her naked body after the quick fight with the attackers... Iona is screaming, an arrow inside of her.Joruth was totally powerless, could only defend himself. He could only cry over her naked body after the quick fight with the attackers... Iona is screaming, an arrow inside of her : << MY LORD ! I don't see anything ! I'm cold, I'm terribly cold ! Help me ! >> * Joruth panicked ! Really panicked ! Doesn't know what to do ! * - << Stay calm Iona, MAKER STAY CALM ! You have an arrow in your chest ! You are losing all your blood ! >> - << Please, lord Joruth tell me I'm not gonna die, I.. I have... I HAVE A DAUGHTER ! She.. has no.. one else ! >> - << You are worsening your state ! Don't move ! >> * And she effectively stop moving. For eternity. Iona is dead. Joruth cries more, feeling empty, a knife planted in his heart. He cant' believe it, dead elven eyes loking at him.. * << Forgive me, beauty. Couldn't do a damn thing to save you. >> * A last kiss on her lips still warm before leaving. *

The journey of Warden Commander Drako Amell, The Hero of Ferelden: (DA:O, DA:A, and Witch hunt) The Chronicles of Tyros Hawke, Champion of Kirkwall: The Path of Inquisitor Mason Trevelyan, Herald of Andraste: The Journey continues, Harding's latest reports indicate that her people have gone as far as they can in the approach without alerting the Wardens and Venatori to their presence. Several rifts have been spotted in the area. I take Dorian, Sera, and the Iron Bull out as a recon team. We will push further and setup camps for the rest of the Inquisitions forces. There is a fortress a couple miles out that could be made into an Inquisition outpost, but it looks like it's occupied. We'll deal with that later. The pressing matter of the Venatori and Wardens must take priority. We are almost upon the Venatori base, when a High Dragon flies over head. Just what we need. Once it is gone, we continue on... ...The Venatori base was not what I was expecting. I could feel a Rift nearby, but what we found was unlike any Rift I had seen before. It was similar to the Rifts that Alexius could open, but this was... different. Everyone, Demon and mortal, around the Rift where it opened were... stuck. It was like time had completely stopped for them. A small number of their fellows had come to check on what happened to this place. They were scattered so we took them down pretty easy. Took some searching, but we found what had caused this time freeze. An ancient mystical artifact. Elven or Tevinter, I wasn't sure. It had been crafted into a mage's staff. What I was sure of was that the second I touched it every mage and demon in these halls would be free. Couldn't just leave things like this. If the Venatori got there hands on the staff again, they might be able to perfect their temporal manipulation techniques and go back to the moment the Breach first opened as Alexius tried to do. I took the staff and we fought our way through the demons and mad men until I could seal the rift they had opened. Any demon or Venatori that we didn't kill made a run for it. After we make a sweep of the area, we head back to base camp. Harding says there are still other Venatori out there so we go back out and only find a giant wall and a closed door with no lock to pick... ...We make our way around the mountain and find a cloud of toxic fumes blocking our path. We weren't getting through that. We setup another camp close by and send word back to Skyhold for Cullen to have some men with proper gear build a pathway through the gas. I leave Dorian, Sera, and Bull to over see things. No telling what is going to come out of that fog, it could be the Dragons nest for all we know. I wait for Varric, Blackwall, and Solas then go looking for some Grey Wardens... ...We find Hawke and Loghain waiting for us. As we draw close, we see one Warden get gutted by another and his life's blood used to open a Rift and bind a Rage demon. This madness was being overseen by a Venatori mage. I didn't get the sense that the Wardens knew exactly who he was, but the ritual they were carrying out was not done under the influence of Blood Magic. They were doing this willingly. After the ritual is complete, the Venatori mage would bind the Warden Mage's mind as well as the demon. How many of them had gone through this? The Venatori said that the Warden Commander Clarel ordered this. I know Wardens say they do whatever they must to battle the Darkspawn, but this is too far. There is no excuse for this. How many of them had fallen prey to this mad scheme?... These mages were beyond helping. They belonged to Corypheus now. We attack, but while we are fighting the Wardens and Demons, the Venatori mage escapes. Hawke and Loghain take off after him. I send Varric and Blackwall along with them and return to the forward camp with Solas... ...With little for us to do, I carry my crew back to Skyhold while a pathway above the haze is built and we await word from Hawke and the others. A bird arrives in a couple days from Blackwall saying they tracked the Venatori to Adament Fortress. An ancient and well weathered structure. Bringing it down would be no small feat. The Path to Adament however is blocked by the Fort in the Approach that Harding saw. Smaller and more worn down. Venatori had set up there. Wardens would have reinforced the walls. I'll take a strike team in and clear the place. Would make for a good outpost for the Inquisition. Cullen can give the place some proper defenses. So I'll try to keep the damage to a minimum... ...After a restock at Skyhold, I take Dorian, Bull, and Sera back out to the Approach. Dorian and Bull take pride is taking out the Venatori. According to Sera, "Anyone wearing sissy Veny robes gets an arrow in the arse!" They thoroughly enjoyed storming the place. There weren't as many men inside as I was expecting. They did a fine job of trashing this place though. It'll take several days just to get the basics back up to snuff. Even drinkable water is a problem. The troops arrive shortly after we take the fort and start work immediately. Once we establish a fresh water supply, I lead my crew back to Skyhold. The path to Adament is clear, but it's going to take an army to breach that Fortress. We have our staging area though. Now to get the Inquisitions army moving and bring it's full force against the Warden stronghold...

For the first time in eight playthroughs, I gave Vivienne the ordinary wyvern heart. Carathir Lavellan never got along with her, and after reading her alchemy notes he thought she was making some kind of cosmetic anti-aging potion and decided that he couldn't be bothered trekking into a swamp to kill a Super Speshul wyvern for that. And then he found out what it was really for and felt awful. I mean I, the player, know that it makes little practical difference, but it's still terrible to see Vivienne let down her guard for a moment and then not get a chance to say goodbye to Bastien. And now Vivienne's tarot card will remind me of this for the rest of the game . "That's what I do. Fall out of the sky, make bad decisions, and somehow everyone still follows me." Still, I didn't reload - the decision made roleplaying sense, and I do like to have every possible outcome in some world state or another. (Although there are one or two things I've never managed, like killing Dog in DAO.) Speaking of stuff I'd never seen before: I had somehow managed to play this game seven times without realising that you can have a long and involved conversation with Gatt while Bull is talking to the Chargers during his personal quest. So now I know more about Gatt's backstory, which is neat. (And also distressing. Ugh, magisters and their elven sex slaves.)

Today Hamin was assaulted by a most vicious sparrow, while eating the raisins from Sera's cookies on the roof. He made it out with both eyes, which was more than other elven men of his age could say. [Screams of terror] As for other events. He started the day by chatting to his compatriots. Bull told him about the Ben-Hassrath and Blackwall told him a story about a dog. (It was good that real life dog doesn't understand english, as he was napping nearby. Which he has a suspicious habit of doing. So maybe he's just a masochist.). Cassandra then escorted Hamin to the war table to talk about some Seekers, before the work began. Hamin assigned everyone a task, then told Josephine the contract on her life was no more. He then went with her to Val Royeux to wrap up some business. Val Royeux was as always, beautiful in the rain. The weather fit the somewhat somber resolution of Josephine's quest. Then the group went to check what the commotion was near the Gallows. There a story about a man almost happened, but Blackwall put a stop to that. He was then sent to prison, as Orlesians love their gruesome stories. Hamin went and had a chat with him, then headed out to the Hissing Wastes to contemplate his next move. He found some dwarven ruins, rifts and the decision that he'd bail Blackwall out of prison and have him atone for his crimes with good deeds. Since you can't regret what you did wrong when you are dead. After giving the order he headed out with Cassandra, Varric and Cole, to clean up some Red Water before they confronted the Lord Seeker. Afterwards he headed to the Exalted Plains. Solas requested to join since his spiritual friend was in trouble, so Hamin let him float along, with Cassandra and Dorian. After dealing with Solas friend (and crashing the game once), Solas headed home and Cassandra and Dorian accompanied Hamin on some Gurgut hunting. Then Cassandra also went home to read her new book, while Iron Bull, Sera and Dorian went ahead and explored the Marsh. All landmarks collected, rift closed and Dalish serenaded it was time to head home. There are some lies that they went on a Snofleur killing spree, but that's a filthy lie and Hamin will have none of it! Anyways, Solas greeted Hamin at Skyholds Gates and they had a small moment. Probably a fleeting one and tomorrow Hamin will probably do something terribly disappointing. But for now they played nice. Hamin then went to check the war table. As he headed out to tell Cullen what Dagna had discovered, he learned that Solas had destroyed the floor! Hamin then did an amazing feat, as he was falling, he stopped time, twirled to the side and managed to reassert reality, landing in the Dusty library, safe from Lord Pie's filthy claws. He decided to take this as a divine sign to stop his actions for the day, and settled in the comfy chair with a book, planning to enjoy some reading until his advisers found him again and dragged him back to work.

Hmm, it's been a while since I played a Cousland. I think you talk to him the first time, then go talk to him in the library to set up the rendezvous. Not sure if you have to be female or not. I didn't try it with my male Pup, and he was too nice to take advantage of Iona.

Posting twice in one day, but for a good reason: Team Belligerent Sexual Tension is now officially Team Slightly Less Belligerent Sex! And it only took me sixty hours and twenty-eight minutes of game time to get to 'so, Dorian, about last night ...' Hallelujah!
Now that Bull and Dorian are officially an item, I'll be more inclined to switch team members around and hear a wider range of banter. Maybe I'll see if I can get some Cassandra & Blackwall or Solas & Vivienne dialogue, since those are combinations I've heard very little of in previous games and probably won't use much in the future, either. (My usual party composition is one warrior, one rogue and one mage with the Inquisitor as the extra.)
Further new-to-me content: Carathir Lavellan managed not to get his clan killed. Man, that is a frustrating mission chain. After screwing it up with my previous Lavellan, I resorted to a guide this time. It would actually be a great puzzle if the outcome didn't usually involve all of the lead character's friends and relatives being horribly murdered with no reactivity outside of a few lines in Trespasser. Anyway, Carathir was rewarded with the prettiest deer, which he will now ride everywhere forever. I am headcanoning that he gave his reliable old Pride of Arlathan to Loranil, who seems like the kind of person who would appreciate him.

Oh, turns out you got to make a choice. Once one is confirmed, the other will decline. They are available to either gender though.

So I was listening to BW and Dorian exchanged words on their perceptions of each other. It sounded like they're ready to go at it, hammer and tongs, and I was thinking; you boys need a dunking. Preferably, in the river nearby. Then it struck me that the devs could have made things more interesting if companions couldn't see eye to eye on certain things and started a brawl right then. Instead of having "specialised" cutscenes; Cass going at it with Varric when she found out about Hawke, why not have more "common" interactions / arguments on their journeys? Dorian vs Solas. Solas vs IB. Solas vs BW. Let the Inq intervene when it gets too heated and there'll be a choice of supporting / neutral, etc, thereby gaining approval / disapproval, etc. I know sometimes there are arguments in the banter but the Inq does not participate. A miss, imo. I also think it'll also be more interesting if there is a reason for resting at the camps the Inq set up. Not all the time in every map but at certain zones so there'll be more conversations on what had happened, etc. Like JOH for example. * I'm doing JOH. Emerald Graves and Emprise du Lion are not touched yet. I did Crestwood late; I finished WA, Exalted Plains and Hissing Wastes first. I'm at the point where the Inq has to go to the Western Approach to stop the Wardens. However, when she's level 20, I decided to do DD and now she's 24, I decided to abandon the logical sequence, hence, JOH to grab the T4 mats and the extra Rift skill so they could be put to some use. I generally never use the Rift shield at all in Trespasser. Pointless when you quickly get the Rift power discharge, rendering the shield less than effective. The war council banter is also thrown out of sequence with the WT mod, so I never hear Cullen's hesitant "Inquisitor, I was..." and Leliana's teasing cut in any more. However, in this PT, I get the cutscene of Viviene entertaining her late lover's relatives. I didn't get this in the previous PT. I put this down to my not returning to Skyhold often enough to run the rounds of dialogues.

For the past two days, have been working on the two DLCs: Descent and JOH. Katriel and her companions completed their mission in the Deep Roads. Working with the Legion of the Dead and the Shaperate, they descended into the area of the tremors. Initially, they had to contend with large numbers of darkspawn. At a certain point, there were no more darkspawn and Shaper Valta discovered an old text from a long-dead dwarven king that mentioned the legendary Titans. Could the tremors be an indication that the Titans have been disturbed? They then encounter a new enemy, the Sha-britol -- dwarves pledged to defend the Titans. In their first encounter with these strange warriors - permanently encased in lyrium-infused armor - their guide, Legionaire Renn is killed. They are armed with equally strange weapons, including one that fires bolts at a rapid rate, somewhat like Varric's Bianca. After descending deeper and deeper and killing numer Sha-britol, they finally reach the source of the tremors - a massive heart-like object. When they get close to it, they are faced with a monstrous stone sentinel that fires a blast of energy at Valta and attacks Katriel and her party. After a fierce battle, they are victorious. Valta awakens, changed. She is now connected to the Titan and explains that the explosion that tore the Veil was what disturbed the Titan, causing the tremors. With its connection to Valta, the Titan had its tranquility restored and the tremors would stop.
Gamer Notes: I like Descent, but not as much as the other DLCs. The end boss fight was lame; this time around (my 2nd PT) all on my team were killed except for Blackwall who simply hacked away at nodes until the fight was over.
I have a mixed opinion about how they've reimagined the Darkspawn. Darkspawn are supposed to be perverse reflections of the races of Thedas: humans, dwarves, elves, and Qunari. In DAO, the Hurlocks were wonderfully ghoulish, especially in the cut scene before the start of the Battle of Ostagar. Now, they seem a bit more bland. In DAO, Gemlocks always looked a bit comical and cartoonish to me. They're still cartoonish and now they've been beefed up to the point that they're bigger than Hurlocks. Aesthetically, the connection to dwarves have been lost. OTOH, Ogres are largely unchanged. Shrieks were a bit too bug-like in DAO; now they look more elf-like. I also think the hovering emissaries are an improvement over the Hurlocks with a hat that we had in DAO.
As to the Sha-britol, an interesting idea in theory, but their armor looks like the outfits from Ghostbusters. And their helmets look like they were designed by the Aztecs or the Incas.
Oh well, I look forward to seeing how they reinvent Orzammar or Kal Sharok. Hopefully those hoodies you see dwarves like Bianca wearing in DAI isn't supposed to be their finery. They looked rather grubby at the Winter Palace...

Riya finally reached Halamshiral and attends a ball. She was put off by those nobles, talking down on her for being an elf, but she is determined to make the best of it. She brought her lover Bull as her moral support, Vivienne because she knows the shark pool that is the Orlesian nobility and Sera for the fun . So far she heard some nice gossip, introduced herself to empress Celene and talked to Josies sister about ... well... josie and her fondness of dolls. In the palace deadlydwarf because you asked: the Steampunk dress is not clipping at all - and it looks great I played my dwarf Lia a bit more. She is at Skyhold, sitting judgement, meeting Hawke and talking to companions. She might be ending up with Bull too. sitting judgement over that knight captain from Therinfall Walking the ramparts with Blackwall Meeting Hawke Hawke solo - I just love her to pieces. I tried to recreate her for my human playthrough. First human I made, I don't find completely rubbish And I rediscovered an old savegame from my elf Aylin (rogue archer again), whom I really like and I decided to play her too for a while. She just helped an elven widow to justice by killing the templars, that killed her husband and stole his wedding ring. Then she found all the caches for recruit Whittle and now she is on her way to Dennet And last but not least: my try in recreating Hawke from above as a human playthrough (sorry only a fade pic for now)

^^^° First time I played female Cousland, I seduced Iona for fun. Felt like a right shit when she got murdered answering my door. I always wondered if I'd just stayed out of her pants if she'd survive. Lol. Don't worry, she would still have died anyway ! I mainly like having Iona with my warden because it is one more loss for him, a loss more personal except for his parents. I like the idea that he was totally powerless and unable to protect someone close enough to him. A lesson he will not forget. Haha, yeah I'm a sadistic. I tried to seduce Dairen too, because I was curious how he would react, what should be his behavior with a male warden. And I was surprised to see him decline my offer. And yet I didn't ask Iona first. I assumed that only a female warden could have a thing with him. @filymar : Very pretty elf in her lovely dress. Looove the first pic ( she is hot, not gonna lie ) and the one where she is in armor with a new hairstyle, it fits her ! =)

They looked rather grubby at the Winter Palace... uh... Ghostbusters? I don't remember any outfit looking like that unless you're referring to the latest version of GB which I never watched. I saw the trailers and thought the whole premise looked stupid; wasn't referring to the female team btw although I thought they looked silly goofy. I can't even remember anything notable about the dwarves' clothing from DAO to DAI, except for some neat looking armor. I guess if they don't dream when they sleep, their imaginations are so, so.

<snip> However, in this PT, I get the cutscene of Viviene entertaining her late lover's relatives. I didn't get this in the previous PT. I put this down to my not returning to Skyhold often enough to run the rounds of dialogues. ...say what, now? Dammit. Do I need to make friends with Vivienne on a subsequent playthrough??

At some point after doing her personal quest, she will have Bastien's sister and son visit Skyhold (the cutscene triggers if you go talk to her). The sister is a Grand Cleric (minus the funny hat) and the son has assumed Bastien's seat on the Council of Heralds. If you are on good terms, she will talk about how helpful they will be in the future; if you aren't on good terms, she kind of sneers at how she used you to get political support for herself.

In three playthroughs, I did not know this existed. I have done her personal quest each time, and when I talk to her afterwards, she just talks about the election for the new divine. I'll have to try again next playthrough, I suppose.

I'm exploding some lovely Qunari mines, and for the first time, I noticed a creepy voice going, "you are blind, Inquisitor! You are bliiiiind!"

Hamin had to do some war tabling to start the last few mission before the Arbor Wilds and I wasn't in the mood to wait for the timer. So instead of messing with the computer clock, I loaded up Irabel instead and mucked around in the Hinterlands for a bit. (Might also have created another elf face to try and get that long, slim face look but failing utterly and ended up with a cheeky blonde. But you'll never prove that, so HAH!) But yes. Messed around a bit in the Hinterlands. It was fun. Dearest Keeper.
Today seemingly little was done, but the impact felt great. Our good deeds in the Hinterlands paid off and the Chantry accepted to meet us in Val Royeux. They neglected to mention that the Templars would be there as well.
Maybe they shouldn't have invited them, because one of the Templar struck the Chantry's speaker down, while another held a grand speech. He didn't want to co-operate with the Inquisition either.
This show did gain us some merchant connections to a woman named Belle and gave us an offer of help in the form of an arrow. The message of the arrow asked us to search around for three red satchels, which we did, lest the next offer would land in our throats. The satchels each had a note in them, which combined into a direction to an alley deeper in the city. As we headed off, we were stopped by the leader of the mage rebellion. Of the three dueling powers, she was the first to offer alliance. Or at least offering to discuss it. She left us with an invitation to meet with the Rebellion in Redcliffe.
Near the location revealed in the note, we were assaulted by armored humans. As we reached the location, we were assaulted by a fireball from a human mage. He seemed quite full of himself, assured that we had spent much time and effort to track him down. Before we could learn any more his face was stuffed full by arrows from a blonde elf, who then told us to go to cover, as armed men rushed to the scene, not wearing any pants.
Once they were dispatched, things finally calmed down to ask some questions. The blonde elf, named Sera, seemed disappointed in my being an elf, but was satisfied by the fact that I glowed. She apparently is the leader of some form of mercenary group, filled with "little people" who are near everyone who sleeps, eats and excretes. She then offered to join the Inquisition, bringing all those "little people" with her. I accepted for now and she followed us to Haven.
At Haven the Inner Circle is already starting to argue. Cullen and Cassandra want to seek out the Templars, while Josephine and Leliana are pressing for meeting with the mages. I found myself agreeing with them, we could at least see what the mages had to offer. Three versus two, the decision was made that I'd take a small party to meet with the mages. As we all went to work, Leliana approached me, asking me to track down a Warden in the Hinterland, since most of the Order seemed to have disappeared. I accepted and headed out with Cassandra, Sera and Varric.
We found the Warden easily, as he was preparing some farmers to face some bandits. Who attacked as I addressed Blackwall, so we helped the group take them down. With the bandits gone the Warden sent the farmers on their way, before conversing with us. He had no idea that the Wardens were missing, but swore that they were not connected to the Divine's death and offered to join the Inquisition in hunting down her murderer and dealing with the Breach. I accepted and now Warden Blackwall walks with the Inquisition.
While we are planning to visit Redcliffe in this trip, we decided to increase the Inquisitions influence a bit more by helping the Hinterlands inhabitants. But since Leliana has a hard grip on all letters exiting Haven, I will be sending my messenger from here, hoping he reaches you safely.
Stay safe, your second, Irabel.

But reasonable minds may differ... fylimar All your Inquisitors are cute, but Rija is your masterpiece! I like the long-ish hair which still lets her look elfy! And the dress looks great on her! (But what exactly is "Steampunk"? )

<< I will kill them all. I will only find rest when I have completely scratched the Howe of the map, extirpated their bulls as carrion worms from all Ferelden. >>[ So Joruth left the poor Iona, looking for his mother. Thought it was funny for me to imagine and describe the battle I had. ] __ << Come on ! Break this fucking door ! The bitch must die and fast ! >> Cried the Howe's officer, swollen with rage, to his men, who were harnessing themselves roughly to the task, swinging repeated blows of axes against the barricaded door, scarcely broken by its solidity. << I'll make her pay a hundredfold for lost time ! >>In unison the troop of enraged and conspiracy soldiers turned to discover the origin of these terrible growls. In their back had just appeared a shadow, growing, rushed on the scene just behind them. This shadow, after beginning his march under the light of the torches, took the form of an imposing and slim young man, austere and martial air, with a shield and a sword in his hands. And not the least, he wore a beautiful armor that revealed his belonging to the nobility. He was not one of them. Rather a potential target, all those able to stand up against their master and his ambitions being all eliminated without the slightest chance and until the last one. The impudent young man stood there in front of them, armed to the teeth and ready to fight the Maker in person if needed, accompanied by his Mabari bristling on his legs, growling, spitting, and ready to melt on their enemies. Anyone equipped with a grain of brain on seeing them, impressive and numerous, would immediately have turned back to flee elsewhere without asking for his rest. But not him, he seemed to have eyes only for the door behind them, that of Eleanor Cousland in front of which they all stood, menacing, equipped with axes. Perhaps the reason for his stubbornness. In a silky and disorderly clatter of knits, the relentless iron mingled coupled with his supple and controlled movements, the isolated unconscious walked uncompromisingly to meet them, his brown gaze filled with sadness, his face disfigured with an apparent deaf fury directed against them, his eyes swollen as if he had recently cried. His Mabari, as monstrous in size and rage as in appearance, followed him step by step, his tawny eyes reddened by the murderous thirst. Alone and certainly accompanied by a powerful ally against them all, the arrogant young nobleman was obviously quarreling, and the soldiers whistled in admiration at his madness or his courage. With a ferocity in which a sort of singular detachment entered, Joruth observed these soldiers who were less well equipped than he was, and clasped themselves on their arms under the sudden threat of his bellicose behavior. Without the least fear, the slightest hesitation in their eyes and their reactions however. These assassins were sure and determined, blinded by their morgue and numbers, it was enough for him to read in the eyes of the officer to be convinced of it. And this one to draw his blade to his address and to shout to his boys: << Eh, what are you waiting for ? Are you going to tremble before this little piece of shit and his inoffensive pet ? WITH ME ! >>As the officer rushed hurriedly, followed by his men toward the two disturbances, Joruth and his Mabari also went on the offensive, without waiting for their enemies to come to them. And in full swing, a chaotic melee was created, formed, in perpetual movement, in perpetual evolution ! One of the men attempted to knock down his axe on Joruth, but he regretted it immediately at such a short distance, the sword of his more skillful and lively adversary, snapped his face violently before he could finish his movement , scraping his cheekbones and nose in a vermilion geyser, his head half-cut under his helmet. The knell had sounded for the unfortunate beneath the eyes of his peers. The Mabari had bypassed the disorganized troop by slipping furtively behind his position. And both of them, the human and his Monster in a pincer movement, charged at the same time the remaining soldiers, jostled, compressed. Assaults and counter attacks, storm of rage among the fighters, stormy melody of grunts, insults and ruthless rattling. Two other men collapsed at the same time in the midst of the chaos, thunderstruck in a flash by the blade of their formidable enemy, while they were embarrassed, intimidated, harassed by the twirling Mabari, constantly moving, maliciously sounding his jaws attheir back. This in order to undermine their confidence, destabilize them, and push them to the fault, to make them always watch over their backs, frightened. And after a short and brutal exchange with his opponent after the previous death, while the Mabari cut off the leg of his new chosen victim, the young Cousland dodged the weapon directed on his flank, turning on himself, struck savagely the throat discovered by his opponent with a sharp shield. A fatal blow to the enemy that made him swallow his male glottis, made him choke and twist on the ground in an atrocious and slow agony with his hands on his throat. Another rabid was already rushing on Joruth totally elusive and repulsing any assault behind the fortress of his shield which he highlighted with a striking magic. The last madman who came to him was the furious officer himself who directed the small troop, which had been greatly reduced now. And in duo, sword and shield against axe, the two mortal enemies opposed each other and fought each other in a violent arm wrestling, swept away in a whirlwind of hatred, rage and murderous madness. However, the pathetically face-to-face fight being unequal, Joruth soon ending up with the advantage, sounded with his shield the skull of the disheveled rogue who staggered back, before violently sending his boot to the chest, his opponent overturned, disarmed and breathless on the ground. The Howe's officer, lamentably defeated, was the first to be shaken of that, having never had to fight such an enemy. << Have mercy ! have mercy ! >> screamed the leader of the enemy troop, crying, white as snow, pissing in his pants, his executioner becoming as frightening in his eyes as the worst demon, as mortal as the sudden lightning. But the young Cousland, seized with a murderous fury, without any consideration for the words uttered by his victim, like a bloodthirsty barbarian, feverishly planted his blade in his face under the visor of his helmet. Svear finished the last one collapsed on the ground with a well-placed hook on his carotid. The chanting of the steel came to an abrupt end, the vanquished returned to another world, the conquerors rid of their brood. And a silence finally replaced the metal storm. Panting, emerging victorious from the fight, but not at peace, Joruth surrounded by corpses rushed to the door. << Mother ! They're all dead ! It's me, open the door ! >> - << Oh my son! You are alive ! You are alive ! I'm so happy to know you're alive! >> * kiss, kiss,, kisses, a lot of kisses from his mother, everywhere on his face full of blood. * << You came to me and you saved me! My boy came to me ! I feared the worst ! >>

fylimar All your Inquisitors are cute, but Rija is your masterpiece! I like the long-ish hair which still lets her look elfy! And the dress looks great on her! (But what exactly is "Steampunk"? ) Thank you. Steampunk has become very popular lately. It's basically about how people in the 19th century imagine science fiction and new technical developements (powered by steam of course). There are some writers like Jules Verne or H.G. Wells, who put that into stories. Today, people like to dress in a mixture of victorian clothing with technical gadges. It's important to make most of it yourself and it's always a work in progress. My first steampunk costume still gets altered from time to time (and I'm planning the next already) Some very talented people even build working vehicles. Here is a link I found, that gives some examples and links: www.ministryofpeculiaroccurrences.com/what-is-steampunk/And there is a lot of great literature. One of the best known from modern times is probably Alan Moores graphic novel 'League of the extraordinary gentlemen'. One of my faforites is George Manns Newbury and Hobbes mysteries ( www.goodreads.com/series/51673-newbury-and-hobbes) . There are movies about the subject too, for example Vidocq, The Prestige or the tv show Penny Dreadful or some episodes from Doctor Who (hell, the Tardis even looks like a steampunk ship from the inside). And last but not least there are a lot of music bands, who focus on the steampunk theme. The most known is probably Abney Park : I hope, I didn't overroll you with information, but as you can see, I'm passionate on the subject . Syv Thank you , but the elf with the armor and the mohawk is another character. In the first picis Riya, my mage, in the armor pic is Aylin, my rogue, but they look a bit similar on those pics
