Good loot? Sure If you don't use MODs. And it depends how far you are in the game.
I noticed something with the Hintertlands dragon. Bull is normally in my party for dragon kills. However I tried numerous times to get his dialogue to execute after the first dragon kill. Does not work. However if we kill the dragon in Crestwood it executes just fine. Its really weird. Just a heads-up.
Most of the dragons are fairly easy assuming you have good gear and a good party. I generally stick with: Cassie, Bull and Varric.
I've modded the hell out of Origins (note my last post), used a couple for DA2, but Inquisition? From what I could see, not many worthwhile ones for Inquisition or did I miss something? Post is up, hun. In the mechanics and Tactics section. Did not want to clog this place up.

Found a potential way to save all my quizzies who got stuck in the Fade, only to realize I had deleted all those saves a long while back . So there were no quizzies to save from the Fade. Granted I have no idea how safe this method is or if it will work every time. Or if it's new or old news. For future reference, Quizzy was dropped near the steep stairs. She headed north-east, past the stairs, over the mountain, then started going east. Soon she started seeing fir trees. She followed them to a slope. Down the slope she could see a town. She recognized the town as Haven and started heading towards it. Suddenly she was surrounded by high detail fir trees. Undaunted she walked down, until she fell down a small slope and got stuck. After a few struggles the world suddenly went black and the "Gasp" cutscene started, now with better camera angles. When Cassandra escorted her out, the gaping at the breach cutscene started, now with normal camera angles. Then after the cut scene started I shut down the game, since I wasn't planning to play her anyways and only stumbled upon this adventure while testing how far I could go in this area/looking for a place to "kill" quizzy.
Still, I had fun. Also saw some old quizzy attempts while frantically looking for the fade prisoners, so that was nice too.

Sergeant Kylon said he pay us to remove some riffraff who were causing trouble at the local brothel. Well coin is always good, so we took the job. We were attacked on the way there, it seems Denerim is not a safe place for an Elf. At the Pearl, I'd persuaded the mercenary's to move on, when a fight broke out between a young women & the men she had been playing cards with. We would of helped, but she didn't seem to need it. Turns out the women was Captain Isabela, a "good friend" of Zevrans, and she invited us to join her on her ship. Morrigan thought five was a crowd, she said to leave her 40 silver and she'd wait for us at the Pearl. Then heading back to the markets to get paid, we ran into sergeant Kylon and a few of the mercenary's we had told to move on. Tempers flared and we got some good loot. Sergeant Kylon then had another job for us, moving on another group of troublemakers, this time from the local tavern. As soon as we entered, we were assaulted by a fashion faux pas. Leliana thought the woman must have been drunk to be seen in something like that. The Crimson Oars didn't want to move on, so we put on a bit of a show for Edwina, who thought we did a good job. But everywhere we go in Denerim, people seem upset with us. You know, I think they're really trying to kill us. So we're wandering into the house of a complete stranger to snoop around. ( as you do.) when the occupant took offense at us grilling him and just attacked us. It seems we had stumbled on to some sinister plot involving something Leliana cared about, so we might follow that up. With the back-streets of Denerim cleaned up, we'll be heading to the Spoiled Princess Tavern, in search of the missing scholar and the knights from Redcliff.

Haven't played much this week due to feeling like this:
but here's what Emma's done in Act 2 so far.
She helped out her friends:
She got drunk with Fenris (not a good idea for a mage, btw)
She did some sight-seeing
She found a killer - too late
She got somewhat comforted by Fenris - dealing death is much easier for him than dealing with death

We got a very chilly welcome at Haven, and it wasn't the staff on my back. They were hiding something. The local priest wasn't very helpful, but we managed to find Brother Genitivi on our own. So we fought our way through crazy religious fanatics and dragons until we reached the mountain top. We finally made it outside, only to be greeted by this... So we rounded up the best gear from the dragon's hoard and continued up the mountain. The big guy seemed to have the dirt on all of us. Morrigan told him to piss off. Why didn't I think of that? i.imgur.com/LkWHCxZ.jpgThen Tamlen's ghost come to taunt me further. i.imgur.com/6wGVLO1.jpgLeliana thought we would have to all work together, join hands and sing a happy song to get across. Yeah, well, we'll see how that goes. Maybe we could just jump the small gap at the other end of the room. We settled on making a magic bridge appear. i.imgur.com/eL2hQK1.jpgA sacred urn, I thought maybe it contained holy water, and Morrigan could wash her hands. But it was just ash. Still we'd worked so hard to get here so I took some. You never know, it might come in handy for something. i.imgur.com/CaME3Il.jpgIf nothing else, it impressed Leliana. Who wouldn't slay a dragon and walk through fire for that smile. i.imgur.com/RqnXT4b.jpgI might go back to camp and reap the rewards of my new found favor, before heading to Redcliff and seeing if Eamon is going to side with us or Loghain.

I wasn't happy with my mage Inquisitor, so I restarted the game, renamed the character, and made her a 2H warrior. She has Sumalee's smooth contralto and she is The Best Ever. She's currently taking charge of Haven because it's a smol child and the Inquisition needs all the help it can get.
Gonna conscript the Templars this time around.

Weird. I am using the same format from Imgur that I used on old BSN. Does this work better?
Or this one?

It was kind of ironic as he already had sided with the Templars and he took dat one step forward and actually made someone Tranquil for info. I don't regret it to say in the least... even if all of my other characters killed that man...

Or this one? Both of those work. The second method is what I use, as it only requires a single click to go full screen. I wasn't happy with my mage Inquisitor, so I restarted the game, renamed the character, and made her a 2H warrior. She has Sumalee's smooth contralto and she is The Best Ever. I played 160+ hours of DAI when it came out, and I recon 100 of that was making new inquisitors that never made it to Haven.

Douglas caught up with Solas, who he didn't have a particular beef with, but left feeling somewhat angry (and short of half an arm). My first Trespasser runs were with my Solasmancing Lavellan, it was beautiful and heartbreaking and I was left with very confused and mixed feelings (Ellana felt much the same, "Oh yay! Elven Glory! Ummmmmm...wait..isn't that going to kill all my non-elven friends...like Hawke and Cassandra, Dorian and Sera? Ok, bad idea after all."). Douglas has no reason to be confused (or at least, any more confused than normal) over the fate of the elves, being neither an elf or a mage. He's just annoyed that Solas is trying to destroy the world, and told him so. I can see that if I hadn't first seen this with Ellana Lavellan i might see Solas as much more of a villain than I tend to generally. Douglas went for an angry honour guard (not that Cassandra needs any guarding) and peace keeping force, he's going to marry Josie and help her with her business empire, when he's not helping Sera and the Jennies or trying to find Solas and punch him out (to do: learn to left hook...).
With Douglas finished (first DA game played all the way through with a male hero! I prefer playing as girls in DA and boys in ME.), I had a brief wander around Redcliffe with his little sister Jenna the mage and discovered that Linnaea is even bitchier if you're a Trev Mage. She's off to save her silly fellow mages from the Vints. Jenna's supposed to be Thedas' biggest Hawke fangirl and all for Mage Freedom at any cost, she's smarter than Douglas and much more rebellious, just as embarrassing to the rest of the family though.
Then I decided I missed playing an elf, and it was time to create the long anticipated "Silmarillion Lavellan", (Hi, I am that fool on Reddit), "Sil" or Amras as I've decided to call him is as anti-Shem as I can manage, and was sent to the Conclave as a bodyguard for Ellana Lavellan. In this universe Ella died and Amras survived. He's stubbornly refusing to have anything to do with Andraste and is sticking close to Solas and Varric because they're not humans. Depending on how things go he's either going to warm to either Cassandra or Dorian, since Cassandra's pretty much disapproved of every word that's come out of his mouth, i think Dorian's in luck. He's a bit obsessed with elfroot at the moment, and shooting things. Other exciting thing is that I've upped the difficulty to "normal", which is a big deal for me, coz I usually play anything on the easiest setting possible.
I may have to abandon Thedas for Mass Effect a bit, coz N7 day is coming up and I want to feel part of the party.

deadlydwarf I find the crazy malfunctions of your Surana PT to be hilarious. I can't tell of you did too, or just found it horribly frustrated. It was both frustrating -- and hilarious! At one point, during one of my unsuccessful efforts to bypass the error with console commands, it actually had my female Surana doing the DR with Morrigan! But, of course, the bizarrest moment came after my PC went and killed the AD....and then comes the coronation and there's my PC being lauded for her heroism! Like I said, she had her cake and was able to eat it too! And so far, it seems to have all transferred over to Awakening. Let's see if anything weird pops up in DA2!

Hahaha unmodified lesbian Morrigan. That is some crazy stuff. Or -gasp- your Surana is a she male. I used the Dragon Age 2 Keep mod and already suspect one discrepancy but am not certain. A tiny side quest about killing the nobles who tried to kill my Warden Commander. I mean. I thought Surana had done off with all those co conspirators in Awakening but some "got away" to Kirkwall and now my Hawke has their bounty. The same quest giver mentioned that not everyone had liked my Surana since she let Amaranthine burn. I had saved both places, so this was a flag to me. At the same time, both places are pretty damaged, yeah, so I wonder if it's you just can't please some people. Ya know, maybe being attacked at all was blamed on the Warden Commander. Or maybe DA2 keep mod just didn't have enough flags to turn it off. All I know is, it's the first time a Hawke of mine has gotten the quest!

So you couldn't import your world state directly? You needed the Keep mod? Oh well...the game has so many moving parts...and the multiple transitions to various game engines didn't help.

I played my Surana on a PS3. But have a goal to make a Fenris themed music video (song planned to be used is young and beautiful) so wanted to play DA2 on computer to take video clips and use mods. So, I used the mod to carry my Surana over. Only two things have been mentioned about the HOF world state so far, and that is that Alistair is king and that noble thing. I'm a 5 hour drive from my computer so can't check the quest at the moment.

Pretty sure the quest you're talking about the "Conspirators" quest line from Sergeant Joanna. It's connected to the Vigil's Keep or Amaranthine choice and has nothing to do with Esmerelle and co. It should only fire if you saved the Keep. But if you get the "Secret Rendevous" quest line from the Hanged Man, then it's the same as a bug when you import a save before choosing which place to save. If you ticked both Amaranthine was saved and Vigil's Keep siege completed in the editor that might also be the culprit.

Currently in the Hissing Wastes- going to clean this place out. After, its off to do half of The Western Approach then The Abyss.
And of course I'll have a slew of judgments to make. Mayor one makes me giggle - he is such a tool.

On the approach to Redcliff, Alister said he may have forgot to mention that he is in fact heir to the throne. When we arrived, a local lad told us that Redcliff had troubles of it's own, and he wasn't even sure if the Arl was still alive. We thought we'd better see if we could help... Well not all of us thought that. i.imgur.com/KDCILe3.jpgSo Tomas took us to see the Arl's younger brother Bann Teagan. i.imgur.com/zwy4UHh.jpgHe in turn sent us to talk to Murdock the mayor. i.imgur.com/975IHOB.jpgWho wanted us to talk to the towns blacksmith about doing some repairs, and enlisting the aid of a Dwarven warrior. The blacksmith had drank himself into a stupor, because his daughter, the arlessa's maid, was trapped in the castle. The idea of us rescuing her made Morrigan giddy with excitement. i.imgur.com/aFfIjKQ.jpgThe recalcitrant Dwarf agreed to fall in, if I put in a good word for him with the Arl i.imgur.com/P7wFLW2.jpgThe barmaid Bella, gave me a brief rundown of the place, and said she didn't trust the creepy Elf in the corner. i.imgur.com/GHskZqv.jpgThe Elf wasn't impressed with my feminine charm and didn't want to talk. i.imgur.com/QRZIHf3.jpgBut Leliana said she knew a spy when she saw one, and with a little intimidation we got him to admit to spying on the castle for Loghain. I conscripted him into the militia, along with the landlord who was now giving free drinks to the militia. i.imgur.com/89y7z5q.jpg With the militia in as good a shape as it could be, I got Mother Hannah to say a few hail andraste's over some amulets for Ser Perth and told him about the oil barrels in the store. Then we waited for Nightfall. The undead are nothing if they're not punctual. i.imgur.com/ZsSx2cV.jpgWe gave them a warm welcome. i.imgur.com/a1qqK04.jpgMorrigan must have taken a shine to Lloyd, she effectively kept him from harm throughout the battle. i.imgur.com/lPkyRRb.jpgWe all survived the night and Bann Teagan gave me his dead uncles' heavy steel helmet. I gave it to Alister, he thought it made him look cool, or kept his head cool, or something. Teagan wanted us to meet him at the windmill. I though, there's bound to be trouble at mill. i.imgur.com/07FSyLd.jpgWhen we got to the mill, the Arlessa came running up and demanded that Teagan, and only Teagan accompany her back to the castle. I said, hold on lady, we're going to need a bit more of an explanation than that. She was shocked that an Elf would talk to her like that, but I called her on her bullshit and she backed down. She said a mage had poisoned the Arl and "Evil things" were in control of the castle. So Teagan told us of a secret entrance to the castle and then went with Isolde. i.imgur.com/qcDZN9b.jpgWe fought our way through demons and undead, then found the blacksmith's daughter cowering in a backroom. i.imgur.com/uX5QbDE.jpgWhen we made it into the main hall, we found Teagan playing jesters tricks for the Arl's son. Seems the boy had made a pact with a demon and was now an abomination. Something the Arlessa had failed to mention. i.imgur.com/hgBgRfB.jpg Morrigan thought killing the boy was the easiest way to defeat the demon, but not the only way. Given Lyrium and enough mages, we could confront the demon in the beyond. Well we had to go and see the mages anyway, so worth a shot.

Finished up Act 2 with Emma. Needed two attempts to beat the Arishok. Not sure what I want to do next. I just played Legacy with Nathan, so I don't really feel like running through it again, but I want to hear Fenris' romance banter from the first section before doing Alone.

Is that the Dragon Age Redesigned mod or your personal touch? Also, your PC's outfit? From the Dalish mage mod? I don't remember seeing that outfit anywhere except on the NPCs. (A Chasind outfit?)
