Because dazk asked nicely, screenshots under the tags Trying to get the gang to pose for a photo and Varric, Cassandra and Sera don't even want to look! Even Zyar (my Qunari mage) is barely trying...  I just love how tall Qunari are...  Action shot!  I took the party to the Hafter woods. Fought some bears and I got destroyed by the 2nd wave of the level 12 rift when trying to do it casually. I ended up having to use some pausing and companion swapping to make sure Varric/Sera DPS the hell out of the despair demons first instead of the rage demons. Made it out alive, couldn't even hit level 9 with the XP.  Nice shots but yeah the game really needs photo mode as the party will just not stand still. In that outfit your Qunari looks a little "portly" maybe need to not have too much dragon milk.

The Hinterlands are almost all cleared of annoyances. Only mama dragon and her dragonlings left...and I think I'm going to wait a bit before doing her. I did the Merc fortress and Valammar today. I'm always puzzled to see the rocks with eyeball of the Inquisition on that fortress towers. How did they got there, those mercs have no mages and there is no lifts around?
I haven't triggered the Blackwall scene too. I don't want to recruit him and I feel bad refusing him after helping him play bandits and farmers. And if you are all wondering "why not recruit Blackwall?", I'm doing a few companions PT. I was originally thinking only Cass/Varric/Solas but Sera is the only who can unlock the Haven locks if you don't play a rogue and it didn't take long before I got bored of Solas's one liners. |

I am just about to trigger the Mages quest line in Redcliffe and like you am leaving the dragon for later, I think I could take her down but it'd be very long and drawn out and potentially stressful. I recruited Blackwall as the last thing I did yesterday.

So yesterday cleared just about everything inn The Hinterlands except for stuff that I was dependant on getting from Redcliffe or quests picked up there.
I was going to side with the Templars but literally sat for ten minutes debating with myself and decided to go with the mages. No one thing pushed me this was more just that I prefer to side with the mages and their cause but not sure on what terms that deal will be done yet. That will be an in the moment decision, but Will has been a pretty "nice guy" so far.
Can't be bothered with pic's today in a bit of a rush and nothing special there anyway.

I finally managed to get a good selfie, despite the darkness.
Also, I still very much adore Champion of the Just. And I used the "I'm the Herald of Andraste" dialogue pick and Zyar said the lines with an echo (freaky).
Oh and the Templars were disbanded, I just didn't have the time to rebuild the order. That Breach needs to be closed!

So...I decided to restart my Origins playthrough. I just didn't feel like finishing up my Brosca (I technically already have a finished playthrough of her, and I only did some minor different things this time around, so meh)
So then I thought about my actual canon Warden, my lovely Raelyn Tabris  For some reason I no longer have her save files (likely deleted during one of my yearly cleaning sessions  ), which gave me a good excuse to replay her. I changed up one of her specializations (she used to be a bard-shadow, now she's a duelist-shadow...still uses her trusty crossbow Mirabelle though)
I also intend to use her world state for when Veilguard launches, since it's my favorite.
Just have think about whether I want to play a human or an elf in that game...and with extension whether I want to play Trevelyan or Lavellan in Inquisition Then again, I have attempted playing humans in Inquisition in the past, and they never got very far  (I think the furthest I ever got one was Skyhold)
In which case I also need to think on their classes, but that'll also depend on how the specializations will work in Veilguard (so far Veil Ranger sounds very cool in name...)

It's always the way, have some extra hours to play and the damn EA App sabotages it. Almost an hour and a half trying to figure out what was wrong and when I finally went to the EA online help page they weren't working and it said their servers were down. Anyway met with Dorian in the Chantry but instead of heading to The War Table found Ser Woolsley, placed some flowers on a grave and a Blood Tulip in the bowl on the wharf and got a sword and something else. Headed back to Haven and spent the rest of the time stuffing around with different armour types and looks all of which I really didn't like for Will and then created some armour for Blackwall. Chatted with him to the end of his current dialogue and then it was time to stop. Mage Qunari Necromancer is the best Inquisitor! It force Josephine to work even harder with her PR. I "finished" Crestwood, a few war table missions left and I didn't bother miss winged death from her perch. Wow you have powered ahead of me. Yesterday did the mage recruitment quest and was a douche bag and conscripted them but Cassandra approved so that was the main thing. Bit worried the conversations I have had with Vivienne she either Approved or Greatly Approved my responses. I cannot ever remember that happening but maybe it's because of the conscription thing. Have decided I am not going to stress about saving ALL the NPC's during the attack on Haven, I cannot even remember which ones you can save. If I manage to Minnaeve and Flissa are probably the only two I care about.

I'm in the Western Approach now, but I'll only do the Still Ruins (because it's cool), the keep (because taking them is fun) and the main mission stuff.

Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts is the longest quest in the game, and not in the best of ways.
Anyhow, I saved the Empress and kept her cousin alive (I'll let you guess which one ).
Also, had a dance with Josephine. 
Now I need to finished elevating the DuParaquette. And dealing with the Wardens. And I have a bazillion of stuff on my war table and it annoys me.

Today Raelyn recruited Shale, and rescued the village of Redcliffe
I also tried out a mod that allowed me to save Connor without relying on the Circle or Jowan's ritual, and I'm happy to say it worked quite well 
On our way to Denerim we got ambushed by Zevran (who we recruited), and tomorrow I'll be heading over to find the Urn of Sacred Ashes

Don't you play on PC, the war table MOD is the first one I download, it makes it instantly finish missions. I actually don't mind that they take time, they just throw so many new ones after doing a main quest missions. I had like 20 new ones after doing WEaWH.

Got to Skyhold yesterday, saved Minnaeve and Flissa tried to save Segrit but could not remember how to get into the house fast enough. rest of my time was spent exploring Skyhold, what is available and talking and talking and talking and talking and then the game crashed and crashed and crashed and crashed. Seemed to have a major problem with trying to talk to Cullen near the steps so still have to do that then try and find Cole. Got Varric to write the latest edition of Sword and Shields for Cassandra, "Love is in the Air" even after telling her she was being unfair to Varric. Did lots of War table stuff, next thing will be to go to The Storm Coast and recruit Iron Bull. Anyone having issues with the EA App? Tried everything and went to use the help online and it says they are having server issues. Tried reinstalling and everything what a waste of time. F#ck I hate this app, if Dragon Age The Veilguard is on Steam I'll be buying it there. When DAI doesn't launch, it even happened the other day when I wanted to play the remaster ME trilogy, I bring up the task manager window. Scroll to EA background service. Delete. Doing that work's for me.
