I'm almost done with DAI main story. I just did Here lies the Abyss, then after that Varric's personal quest kicked in.
Now I need to wait until I can challenge Josie's fiancé so she can be all mine! Then I can go visit the Arbor Wild and launch the game ending. Well pre-DLC ending.
It's going to take me less than 25 hours (not even at 20 yet) for the critical path (+ some companions stuff) going by my saves.

Mmm maybe I should just main path the game, but I just can't help do everything.

The Inquisitor was victorious! Both in love and war! Josephine's romance might be my favorite now. I never managed to finish it before.
One day I'll have to use the confrontation path in the Temple, I have never done it.
Varric kept getting deleted by Cory's death beam. The only one in the party to suffer that fate multiple times.
Also, I tried to get Leliana on the Sunburst throne, but I failed. I rejected Cassandra's idea of becoming Divine, didn't help her. Did nothing in fact and she still ended up getting the job.
I'll start Trespasser tomorrow.
The Arbor Wilds is the prettiest map..and that's the last one I took And this is the ugliest thing in the game, I forgot to post it before (it's Blinky, so Trypophobia trigger warning).

Well, just now I lost over half an hour of gameplay. I got to the big "clear the darkspawn out of their nest" section in The Descent, defeated all the big enemies (genlock alphas, ogres, etc.) until I was just down to the Emissary Alpha. Somehow Cassandra fell off the walkway and landed on a cliff a couple stories down in what I assume was a glitch, since there was nowhere to go from there. So not only was I fighting short-handed, but then all three of my remaining characters died around the same time (for whatever reason, they don't run away from the Emissary's glowing orange ball of death unless I take control of them myself), leaving only Cassandra stuck in glitchland. I tried having her jump off the edge to reset back to where the battle was taking place, but all it did was send her back to the cliff repeatedly. Finally I gave up and reloaded a save from 41 minutes ago before all the fighting started. I am currently just having random crashes every thirty minutes or so it's just damn annoying and not sure how much of it I can take TBH.

I can't believe how fast you finished the game!!!! ~25 hours. The main story is only a few missions long, could be under that even more if I haven't done Leliana, Josephine, Cass, Varric and Dorian story quests (I didn't do all of their do X of Y one) and cleared all of Crestwood and the Hinterland (minus the dragons). Finished at level 18...still have 15 powers to spend.
I saw about 30% of the game content.
Having my Inquisitor wonder where Solas went at the end what somewhat hilarious since I haven't talked to him since the prologue and he was out of the party the moment I got Sera (which was a few hours in).

phew...
Today Raelyn found the Urn of Sacred Ashes, revived Arl Eamon got a funny glitch where Eamon thought Isolde was dead due to the mod I used the other day, but I just pretend it's Isolde admitting to what she did to Eamon and him expressing grief about that instead
After that we went to the Circle, cleaned it of demons and abominations and recruited the mages for our cause. Wynne also joined the team, yay!

More chatting at Skyhold and some exploring, threw Alexious into Jail and also War Table stuff.
Not sure if I can go back to The Storm Coast yet and do Red Lyrium need to check Journal and then close that map off or whether to head to Crestwood.

And Trespasser done. I got a one-armed Inquisitor now.
Somehow Cassandra was back in Seeker armor and built the cabine in the Hunterhorn woods despite being Divine in Trespasser. The Saarebas boss was a PITA. I have to wonder WTF the Qunari feed theirs mage because...jeez. The Inquisition was disbanded. Go Go Shadow Inquisition!
I fought a level 26 boss encounter at level 19 too. Finished at level 22.
I'm ready for DAVe now.

Went back and cleaned up everything in The Hinterlands including the Dragon. Then procrastinated and then went to Crestwood. I cannot believe how much of this game I have not forgotten but have lost the knowledge of the most efficient way to do the maps. Just wandered around a bit aimlessly, killing things, convinced the Elf Woman to NOT join the Grey Wardens. Spoke to The Mayor, Sister whatever her name is with the dead bodies and the guy worried about Judith. Killed the Demons outside the front gate and closed a rift where I think a Wyvern appears later. Pic's Oh also spent time in Skyhold giving everyone upgraded armour and leg and arm bits, well most people. Some missed out as they will hardly ever be used. I love the flirting between Dorian, going in heavy ATM two Warriors, one mage and Will with his trusty bow. First one down Why do we get a flirting option with Harding in Crestwood, are there more I have forgotten More Harding because.

Why do we get a flirting option with Harding in Crestwood, are there more I have forgotten I think she had one on all the maps that open after reaching Skyhold that I went to (and at Skyhold as well), but I didn't use any on Zyar. Saying that, it's not a real romance in DAI (otherwise she wouldn't be a companion in DAVe and romance-able).

I don't think so, there are a few characters you can flirt with that don't lead to anything, but they usually turn you down faster...and then you have Female Inqy with Cassandra where she turns you down, but you can continue flirting with her.

I couldn't help but wonder how Cassandra had this kind of free time and who exactly "we" were with no more Inquisition. Anyway, I went back and managed to defeat the Guardian in The Descent. I am about ready for the endgame, but for some reason Solas's personal quest is the only one that hasn't triggered. All I can think of is that his approval isn't high enough (which I suppose makes sense, given that my current Inquisitor is a devout Andrastian with more traditional views of spirits and the Fade), so I decided to go do Jaws of Hakkon and see if I can get a few more approval points from him. If not, I guess I'll just go ahead without doing his quest.

Also, call me a sap if you want, but I do not like killing dragons in DA:I. Granted, I don't like killing animals in video games in general (Far Cry 4 drove me up the wall with "help, that eagle is attacking!"), but many of the dragons don't seem all that aggressive if you just leave them alone. I managed to maneuver around them in the Hinterlands and Emprise du Lion even though I was doing quests close enough to hear and/or see them. Plus, given how much HP and armor they have, it's pretty much impossible to give them a quick and merciful death. The one time I did end up fighting one on this playthrough (in the Exalted Plains), I ended up reloading and just avoiding it.

The "we" is what fans call the Shadow Inquisition, which is basically just a spying network.

So yesterday completed everything in Crestwood except meeting with Hawke and Stroud. The Dragon was nowhere near as difficult as I thought it would be and definitely not as difficult as the one in The Hinterlands. It was nice to surface from the caverns to find it sunny instead of constant rain. Pic's Running up the flag Was nice to see Charter after reading about her in the comics Opened the flood gates Yes Commander Sorry Dragon

I enjoy the fights but I also like to just spend time watching them fly around or dance. Listening to the wing flaps when you can't see them, like in Emerald Graves, it pretty neat too. It's annoying they made a collectible out of them because my OCD wants to me collect at least 10. In later PTs I limited myself to the ones threatening people or operations (like Crestwood) but left the ones in the more wild places alone. The Western Approach dragon fight is super fun though, and just watching her fly in raises it up a notch. I usually do it because if you call her but then don't fight the quest bugs out and you can't recruit the dragon professor.
