They didn't say that. They said both twins were fully customized and Alec changed based on yours.

Does anybody what the father looks like when you just customize your sibling and go default on your character?

So my question remains: does customizing the Pathfinder makes his/her twin similar to him/her?

Like in DA2 where customizing Hawk made his/her siblings similiar to him/her.

I'm asking because i don't have MEA trial.

I would have been curious if i make a handsome bro Ryder, then would the CC generate a beautiful sis Ryder for me too?

It's the third preset, I think, based on how similar it looks to that.

Preset #5 and the wavy bob is proving to be a very popular combination. This was my third attempt at creating Ryder. I'll be starting over again once the full game launches.

This is definitely achievable, though whether with your specific skin color and tone is up to you to learn!

There is a lot of chatter in the Reddit thread about how jarring some of the differences in skin color between Alec and the twins can be for some players. I suspect this is mostly the case for those less familiar with mixed ethnicities within the family. As your situation shows, it's actually quite true to life.

As Mintty says, Alec's skin color is tied to the PC's selected preset face. This being the case, Alec can be quite dark, while the PC can be made effectively Caucasian (depending upon the preset). The sibling, in turn, can be customized independently. So, it pretty much exactly fits the situation you want. I think the odds are good that you'll manage to get the skin colors you want, or at least close to them.

Im just the opposite when it comes to spending time on the CC. I use this trial to find my right Ryder for release. I plan on playing ps4 pro mainly, so now I can just do trial and error. I've only played the first big mission. Haven't even seen the tempest or nomad. Think I've made 5 or 6 Ryders. My latest looks like this: 



Less than two hours left of the trial, so I'll have time to complete Horizon zero dawn before release (think there's only one story mission left and some side quests). 

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but when I customized female preset 2, she perpetually frowns and unnaturally so. She was the third Ryder I created and the only one to have that problem.

Ugh tell me about it. I used preset 1 and she never seems to smile..  if I had this problem in another game I'd go back and tweak the corners of the mouth to fit the animations better but that's not an option here.
