I tried the Apex gold mission for the third time, but for some reason, I did NOT receive the 800% ammo, so I had to preserve mine in order to be able to use it on wave 6. Luckily the team could handle it so I just went and melee'd everything, even though it took ages because I didn't spec for melee...

It was a typical pug match. APEX Mission for Sniper Rifle Skirmish, and 2 out of 3 pugs did not bring a Sniper Rifle. Usually when this happens, and I inform them in the lobby, they ignore me, so I don't bother telling them in the lobby anymore.

I DO, however, still tell them halfway during Wave 1, once the folly of their ignorance has begun to become apparent to them. "For those of you who can't read, btw, this is a Sniper Rifle Skirmish, so good luck with those Shotguns." One of the pugs got on his mic in an angry, wannabe-alpha voice, and yelled at me for not telling him this in the lobby. I replied that the lobby itself would have told him, if he'd just open his eyes and look at it. He prattled on about how I am some super-important poster on BSN and Reddit, but that doesn't give me the right to "trick people" into using the wrong weapons. Um... I told him I don't post on Reddit.

He quit, and was soon replaced by a pug who knew how to read. Shadow seems to be the new Vanq.

I've been in APEX lobbies that appear normal and ready up and the APEX settings suddenly appear. It's easy to miss if you're doing something while waiting for the game to start.

Not sure now. Is it possible to change a lobby from a regular one to an APEX one while players are in it? It may have just happened to me now, but I had to ready up again though

Not concerned about PuG quality anymore since I figured out how to play Shadow + Infiltrator

Yes it is possible and I do it often when an Apex mission is providing good xp and credit bonuses.  All the host has to do, while in the lobby, is go into Mission Settings and select the Mission: Custom at the very top.  That opens up the menu to pick the current Apex missions available.  Once that's done anyone who has already ready up will have to re-ready up as the mission parameters have changed.

APEX Gold Pug, the one with the Sniper challenge vs Remnant on Paradox.

I got my Angara Avenger up to level 8, and I felt she was already held back on silver, so Apex gold it is. Naturally two of the pugs brought something other than a Sniper rifle, and didn't even bother to use boosters.
So playing the combat medic it became then... The one who actually brought a sniper was camping in the extraction area on wave 5, so that became a bit tense being pinned down there by two destroyers and several mooks. Kept reviving him/her (and the other one who came to the rescue), finally having some use for the ammo packs...
Still we all managed to get to wave 6 upload without much trouble, and even got full extraction.

Lost sound on wave 1, the first time for me since 1.06. I was hosting, so no lag, and not even much going on at that moment.

I just got lobby kicked from that same Sniper Skirmish APEX mission because I wouldn't ready up with a HSoldier in the lobby who insisted on using a Rank 1 X5 Ghost Assault Rifle, no boosters and a pistol. I even vote kicked him so the others would look at his outfit and tell him to change it (Gave up using a mic on ME3). But no, they voted-kicked me, with my Rank 9 Shadow, Incendiary Ammo and Sniper Rifle damage boosters.

Yeah, the Shadow is lots of fun, but I'll switch out once I get the achievement for it.

We marched over Outlaw dead bodies in 10 minutes.
OK, 11 minutes...

Zero/Outlaw. Wave 3 devices. I manage to get the first, second and fourth done, while not paying attention to what was going on around me because of the singular focus. After the last device was done, I realised the rest of the team had bled out. I proceeded to solo the rest of the wave until the last Sharpshooter, then quit the game.
